I'm back after a long break and I don't remember the status of the Rehabilitation (when you work off your bounty with SLUTS deliveries). Does it work as intended? I'm on Resume 3.1, SE (not AE).

I had a minor, 100 goldish bounty and I already made at least 5 runs (among them Riften -> Markath -> Windhelm -> Markath -> Winterhold) and still not paid back. I set the ReHab Difficulty to Hard in MCM. I also collected about 200ish gold from roadkills. So it definitely feels like it is not working.

What is the name of the variable which shows the debt? Whenever I pick up gold it just says that the debt decreaced to x, but x is apparently just the picked up gold multiplied by 50.

Also a small issue: I got a personal delivery to Thonar Silver-Blood. This guy is in Markath, Treasury House. The problem is, he is behind a locked door. I had to TCL through.

Edit: I was having serious issues, namely the cart just disappeared while traveling. Ctrl+E didn't help. I consoled one, but the game said it it broken and all stuff is stolen. I also experimented with the debt, by consoling money. I think something is not right, because it took about 35000 gold to cover the debt (a reminder, I had about 100 gold bounty and the mod is set to only Hard Rehab difficulty).

Other than the above case the Ctrl+E is quite essential and works very well. Whenever a SL scene starts while hauling, after that the connection to the cart bugs out. The character can't pull the cart anymore although the mod thinks it is still connected. Using Ctrl+E twice fixes it.

Hey guys, just a quick question. I use iNeeds and so I need to drink water. Any way I could also make the carriage drivers to give me water when asking for food?

Also, I use being a cow, I assume the the pony boots will be equipped over the hooves from that mod (haven't actually got that far yet so might be wrong, but DD restrictive boots were unequipped in favour of the pony boots), but if it does, is there any way to not have pony hooves and mittens force equipped while also using the pony animations?

If so, could someone point me in the right direction of where to start?

Simplest way is to create a patch in xEdit to edit the FoodStuff array in xxB16D3A4. Either replace one of the items with a drink or add one to it.

Hmm, I already tried that but it didn't seem to work. Gonna try again.

Edit:

Yep, not working. Tried both to add new array and replace the existing one, it does not seem to "recongnize" drinks.

Is there any instructional material on xEdit? I've used it before, but only to find names. I never felt comfortable enough to actually edit anything.

You can probably find a lot of tutorials, but it is not that scary to edit things. Just make absolutely sure that you make a safety copy of the esp you edit, before you start. Also, start small, edit 1-2 things and check if it works, don't change 100 things at once until you know what you are doing. :)

What I usually do is to not edit the actual esp, but make a new one and copy the things there to edit. That way if the original mod gets an update, my patch will still work, most likely. I also make the new mods ESLs, because they are very small changes usually and this way they don't bloat the esp count (you can do this on only SE though).

Quick info, I think we should follow up on the tradition to give this mod one update at the beginning of the year, so I will have the February release on my Patreon be SLUTS V3.2, with public release in March

Further, as Acheron is slowly reaching a mostly complete state and SLP+ also having little issues left to address I hope to do more than 1 update to this mod in 2024. If nothing gets in the way I plan to release V4 until Q3 of 2024. Until then I want to add and overhaul some aspects of the main cargo mission, with the promised rebalance of the pilferage system being the focus of V3.3. There are also mostly complete plans for a V3.4 update

Can you perhaps give me a list of (Vanilla & DLC) items that can be used for this?

In general I wished to overhaul that feature a little, making modifying the items given through this dialogue easier to do

I believe that vanilla Skyrim only has alcoholic drinks. I at least was not able to find anything else. Perhaps maybe give "Potion of Blood" if you are a vampire.

Although you can quench your thirst with default iNeed settings, I use the setting which quenches your thirst for a while and then makes you even more thirsty.

I believe that making it compatible with the most popular needs mods would be best, if its not too much work. Or at least, as you said, make it easier to edit.

On a personal note, would it be possible to make it so that you are not stripped of DD items from other mods? That would solve a few of my problems but if not, I will take what I can get.

Hello! so I built the sliders for the harness and ponyhooves accessories but it doesn't show up on my characters model at all, I have my suspicions it's because i use ccbe models perhaps? but I'm not entirely certain any suggestions?

UPDATE: so I found out what was happening I think it appears to be a problem with either the sex of my character being male or HIMBO as opening the race menu during a trip and changing my gender immediately fixed all visual bugs

Still no visible harness and I presume there's supposed to be chains around the female model right, so there is still something generally wrong

For starters, you did install DD with male support? Not sure how far male support is currently, but pretty sure HIMBO is not covered out of the box. Perhaps some 3rd party patches are available, never checked.
And I don't remember any chains, where do you expect some?

I would've assumed the cart would've been pulled by chains or the like no?

Nope. Look at the image previews - there's nothing connecting the cart to the ponygirl.

I can start it sometimes, sometimes it don't go. The carriage is nowhere to be seen, when i start ist. Sometimes the dialog don't end after guard arrest. So all in one the start is not smooth and i can't do anything about it.

Hi there, Hoping to experience your mod also I'm keen to use Prison Overhaul Patched and your descriptions says it's incompatible, but there is a Patch provided by Neydzz.  I have search (Cntrol F) etc and cannot seen to find it, does anyone have a link to the patch? I am using the latest version of Skyrim SE

ARG! Bugger me, right under my proverbial nose.  Thank you for taking the time to point that out.

S.L.U.T.S. Resume V3.2

  • The package recipient in the Special Delivery Haul now has an expanded dialogue
  • The carriage driver (recipient) now has an expanded dialogue and additional interactions
  • Introducing blackmailing with a (basic) proof-of-concept quest
  • Added a small delay between DD equips to (hopefully) fix phantom-DD items
  • Improved dialogue option for survival support
  • Fixed the carriage not properly un-mounting at the beginning of a SL scene

Preview of V3.3

Im sure most of you who were already using the mod when V3 was first released remember that the changes to Pilferage were quite.. frustrating. I promised that I would properly overhaul Pilferage from scratch to in a future update as I believed the changes to Pilferage were justified but regrettably poorly executed. While the V3.2 Update has no changes to Pilferage and mostly aims to smoothen out the ending sequence of a delivery, the V3.3 is putting all of its focus onto that very aspect of SLUTS

The most notable change is how Pilferage is structured as a whole. Previously this was a linear system which would reduce your payment from anywhere between 0 and 500% of its original amount, i.e. youd lose all payment after only 1/5th of Cargo has been lost

The new system takes a different approach, dividing Pilferage into multiple segments - 4 in total, each of them having a different influence on how you are being paid. The graph in the spoiler shows you how how Pilferage will reduce your payment depending on how much cargo has been lost. The 4th segment that is missing from this graph is no pilferage missing at all (i.e. Pilferage <= 0)

When looking at this graph, consider that total cargo health is 1.000 and complete failure (not returning with your cargo) has an additional 10% penalty (1.100 total)

Spoiler

A major difference here is for one how much Pilferage needs to be lost to really lose all payment, as you can see you will receive a fixed amount of penalty for losing any Pilferage at all. Once you reach the blue segment (the old system would reward you with close to 0% payment at this point) your debt will slowly ramp up until it reaches 100%. This means that all the way until the end of the blue segment you will still get paid. Once you reach the purple segment, you will start to quickly ramp up debt again to about the same value as in the old system

This graph is much milder than the one before, handing out payment even if a significant amount of cargo has been lost but will keep the danger level of completely neglecting the cargo at about the same level

Were not done yet though, next to the incredibly steep curve from the old system, there was also the problem that getting hit by some random fireball would essentially instantly ruin your "perfect-run-streak", and thus your overtime bonus. To compensate that, I added a new "Seal" mechanic, which will protect your cargo from damage until it is destroyed. Giving your cargo just a little bit of extra protection to make overtime bonuses a worthwhile goal again

Lastly, for transparencies sake, SLUTS also includes its own HUD Element now:

image.png.14324880fa5bb49ae6f387996677b9cc.png

To make everything a little more transparent and giving you a hint how much of your cargo is actually damaged, this little widget will tell you just how much you Cargo has been pilfered. The segments are visibly divided with the far right one being the seal, followed by the green segment, blue and then pink

The HUD will only be visible during Hauls and its position and scale can be fully customized. This way the Pilferage is no longer a guessing game, especially on premium delivery hauls

The 3.3 Update is available on my Patreon now
