no i've seen this before in my mod's previous version.  TW did something in one of the patches that made module version strings that were too long not work anymore.  Gave the exact same message, but that should have been fixed unless for some reason they changed it again (but i haven't gotten this error) or the original xml was changed.

Iis what the version value should be.  Don't know why yours is like that, maybe the upload is bad?  But maybe (as no one else had this issue) you did a bad update?  Just checked the uploaded version and it was done correctly, don't know how you got to that version string, but you can safely just copy what i put here and replace that within the "" on Version value=

i do this. and it's launched without errors. but there is no event proc. in existing neither new game.

There should be no password.  I didn't set one up and as far as i can tell no one else got a password request?

If there is no even triggering then you've installed CE incorrectly, at least you should be getting their events.  If it's only my events that aren't triggering then you've likely badly installed my mod (which i assume is the case since your version number is the number from 2 updates ago, i believe.)  Make sure to always remove the previous version in full before adding the new version.  You should never overwrite mod versions.

Hello, I wanted to give the mod a try but the image pack is corrupted, I could not extract it (with windows explorer, Winrar and 7zip). Is it a known issue?

 

Update: Nevermind, it certainly was an issue with megashare. I ddled it again and it worked fine.

Minor bugreport for events CE_slavery_alt_103, CE_slavery_alt_103Fucked and CE_slavery_alt_103Refused in BoukieVoluntaryProstitute.xml.

 

The MCM menu has toggles for all 3 when it should only have a toggle for the starter event in the chain. The later 2 events for CE_slavery_alt_103 can fire on their own without being preceded by the starter event. So, you can get the ending without the start of the event. Since this results in health and/or prostitution score loss, it's very inconvenient.

 

The CE_slavery_alt_101 event from this mod conflicts with the BC Captor mod which has an override for this event. If BC Captor is loaded last it proceeds normally, but if Boukensha's is loaded last it will result in a "This space left intentionally blank" message. Might want to warn people about it and recommend them a load order. If you check in the MCM you can see that it's toggle button only shows for whichever mod is last in the load order.

 

I also noticed some conflicts over the waiting menus with BC Captor mod, and some events conflict over adding or removing the slavery/prostitution flags. If you take this mod's option to become a voluntary captive whore (event FemaleCampSlaveWhoreInitiation) then the slave flag will be removed but BC Captor events can add it back.

Fixing the firs issue rn.  As to conflicts with other mods.  There's little i can really do about that.  I tried making a relatively comprehensive system that progresses in a certain way.  Any other mod can do similar things.   But it's good to know and i'll get to warn people that there are some conflicts. and load order suggestions, but i can imagine this might also break things with BC if i'm loaded last? idk but i'll update the description.   Actually i'm just gonna rename the event, there's nothing wrong with the base CE event i just overwrote it because i didn't like it too much myself 😛 but that's not really an issue.  If it causes a problem i'm just renaming it.

Hello, I apologize in advance for the spelling, I use google to translate. Here is my problem I tried to put this mods however the launcher does not recognize the mods while the others that I have yes, I am talking about the moment where you have to click on the box to validate it, I correctly put the files as requested on the site (I think so, I hope so) I tried with version 1.9.2 as well as 1.9.3 but nothing changes I am stuck, thank you for your help.

lol yeah, you'll have to get the megashare download for the newest version.  The other image packs are only for older versions. (obsolete really)

The only thing that i can think of that would make it not see the mod is if the submodule.xml file isn't immediately there when you open this mod's file in the Modules folder.  Either it's one file too deep or you messed up something in the installation.  Fortunately you can re-download the base file separate from the images.  Should that be necessary.

i am trying to translate this mod, and i did it. but partially unfortunately. because we have only this tree language file:

when i came across some untranslated texts in game, i checked. these untranslated texts were in the zBoukenshasBinder\Events location. and i realized the situation. there are so many texts that have not been translated and need to be translated.

i want to do a complete translation but i couldn't figure out how language.xml files are prepared. if you show me the way, i can use it for my other translations too. thanks buddy.

I have found that there are more incompatibilites.

 

Both mods provide custom waiting menus when your character is a captive or a whore in a brothel. Their different waiting menus each provide different buttons you can click for doing differtent actions, like escaping or satisfying clients. The waiting menus aren't merged together, you can only get only one or the other at the same time. For example, the brothel waiting menu for BC forces you to pay 800 denars to leave the brothel by buying out your whore contract from the brothel owner. Boukensha's waiting menu and also it's events allow you to leave the brothel for free, bypassing the pay-to-leave feature. Boukensha's waiting menu is a lot more likely to overwrite BC's at higher prostitution scores.

 

While you are a captive BC's waiting menu provides the option to attempt escape but Boukensha's waiting menu doesn't. Boukensha's mod has a feature when you are a captive that you can agree to become a captive prostitute rather than a slave and you can eventually whore your way back to freedom. However BC mod can break that and turn you back into a slave, preventing you from using this feature.

 

Also, there are massive thematic and aesthetic differences between the mods. You can easily identify which mod each event is from by the text and pictures. BC is done in a 'clean' and appealing style like most videogame porn, it's filthy in the funny and appealing sense. Boukensha is filthy...literally, in the disgusting and unhygenic sense of the word. I was surprised by all the mentions of faeces, piss, smegma, injury, old-age, STDs, guro and disease in the text descriptions, even outside of the 'toilet' events.

 

I disabled all the unhygenic events in the MCM, but that left only a minority of events and it still left all the content that conflicted with BC. Because of that, I think I'd recommend not using this mod with BC, just one or the other (at least unless the incompatibilities are resolved and it becomes possible to sue the MCM to disable all toilet-flagged events).

A feature of this mod that I really liked was that the RNG can produce too many events that lower your prostitution score, and then you can be enslaved if your score was low enough. This is a big improvement, because it makes whoring in the brothel much more risky and it fits with the much more dangerous atmosphere of this mod compared to BC. Usually the brothel is a safe way to gain starting funds, it's not as much fetish-fun if there is no risk. This mod also has more diverse branching brothel events than in BC.

 

I also think that it would work better if the player wasn't allowed to leave the brothel at will but had to pay to leave like in BC, because the risk of enslavement in brothel work makes the pay-to-leave feature more meaningful. If your character is an incompetent whore then you will become desperate to avoid enslavement and be more willing to make compromises. Thsi combines really well with the event where guards force a free player to become a whore at the brothel.

 

I'd really encourage the mod author to work on compatibility with BC, because these are the only 2 lewd captive events mods that have been recently updated.

So the way it works is.  In the base event file (BoukieAnimals.xml i put in the text this:
<Text>{=BoukieAnimals1}Outside in bright daylight you run into a woman getting mounted by a hound.  At first you intended to help her, but it soon becomes apparent she's enjoying it immensely.  Should i intervene?</Text>
(You'd have to do that for every file and every piece of text too, i did it as an example.)
In the language file with the same name i refer to the translated text with:
<string id="BoukieAnimals1" text="Outside in bright daylight you run into a woman getting mounted by a hound.  At first you intended to help her, but it soon becomes apparent she's enjoying it immensely.  Should i intervene?" />
Which will replace the original text with this version, in this case it's from english to english so it doesn't do much.  If you replace the text in the languages folder's file to another language (and please make a new folder for your language for it.)  it will use that text, if the options are set for another language. 
Please test if it works for your language, i've never done this before. 

So you'd have to add {=BoukieWhateverThisEventListIsCalled13536} to the base event of the text you want to replace and make sure the corresponding tag exists in the language xml  as  <string id="BoukieWhateverThisEventListIsCalled13536" text="Whatever you wan the new text to be" />

Use my structure for all the other xml files too please.  The use of notepad++ or visual studio code is useful for you i think, but regular notepad will work too 😛

it's really an issue of different features not working because they are two different concepts entirely.  Like, i'd never force you to pay your way out of prostitution because that's literally why slave prostitution exists.  Only making you pay if your prostitution is low because you've cost the brothel money with your incompetence and the risk of enslavement shouldn't let you just leave and ignore it.  That's just a very different take on prostitution than BC, who for whatever reason already treats you a bit as a slave even though you're only a prostitute.  It can't be reconciled, and certainly wouldn't be me doing it since i'm using the CE mechanics as intended.

😛 i hope the "filthiness" isn't too much of an issue.  If you were a better prostitute you'd get better clients! XD  I'd add tags for it, but aside from using skills there isn't really a way to do that.
My mod is heavy kink though, gore, violence, disease etc.. it's pretty clearly marked on the mod page and vibes well with war, impoverished villages and slavery.

I installed the main mod with Vortex, then replaced images with the megashare ones, manually.

Also had the warning message on launch, saying mismatching version string thing + could not tick the mod as it was not appearing in the list.

I just modified the line in submodule.xml : <Version value="v1.7.2.1033.1" />" to <Version value="v1.7.2.1" />

Hope this works because I can activate it now.

I have a small bug, i have the same choices in events twice, nothing game breaking but can be confusing with events which have more options to choose from. I probably messed something up when installing, i don't know what tho

And if I'm already at it, is there a way to hide the text of the events (some sort of hotkey)? some of them are so long you can't even look at the image
