B0ukensha Posted January 13 Author Posted January 13 Yeah so the hekaton stuff doesn't work properly, because while the code is in CE it's not implemented to limit events to happen only once, meaning i'd have to give each page their own skill. Which i can do, but is not really useful, especially if i end up expanding it or doing other things like that. It's really a matter of whether that feature gets implemented into CE or not, but i think for now i'll just take them out. As for the flags, they should work, though i can't guarantee anything, it's CE code so... I don't know how you do it with vortex, but the install instructions are for manual, if you want you can use the images 1 and 2 from this site and put both those in your own image folder. Just make sure it's not /Images/Images/ But rather /Images/AllTheOtherFiles For any specific events you'll have to give me a line of the text and the circumstances in which they happen, i've got 3000 events, and can already think of five or more where someone peeps on you. But odds are, you're just gonna have to live with how i did it XD or find the event in the xml and change it yourself. As for what happens when ppl get executed... well you know... it is what it is, i can't filter for characters, all the code i have is killrandomprisoners. No way to adjust it as far as i know, but it shouldn't have killed characters in the first place. Maybe you're using another modpack?

I wouldn't even know how, i just use the stuff Badlistener makes. For now i don't think there's any way of knowing what relationship any hero has, or if it's even possible.

CE has a lot of events that make companions like or hate you more, but none of them work for family, or at sea as of yet. Meaning you can have a child who likes you less than random lords and notables, who may be in charge of your castles and towns.

There is no way to check whether a hero has some kind of relationship with you. So there's no way of going through them, it's all just random allocation of whatever happens to be in your party. I can't do anything about that either.

I can't do anything about that either. if you hover the arrow over a persons picture, it tells you what their relationship lvl is with you.

That's not what i mean, yes obviously you can see how much they like you. But there's no way for us in game to know whether or not your daughter, or boyfriend or father or whatever is in your party. That's what i mean with relationship. We can't write for things like incest if we don't even know if you have kids or parents kicking around. And even if you did they'd be halfway across the world. So it's just not possible rn, unless you want us to randomly give you those relations out of nowhere.

Ohhhh, i see what you mean, hunh, i didn't know that the game didn't keep track of any of that, annoyings! Guess that explains that old glitch where you couldn't pick a child to be your heir then.

I've gathered like 5 pages just from the event "You find the first page on your soldiers", and 1 from the high priestess I think. Can I manually reduce the number of pages I have? I don't wanna get the whole book from that one first page event so maybe I could edit like NumberOfPages 6 -> 1 I was also thinking of just deleting or commenting out that specific event, so that others might have a chance to fire.

But it's still not an ideal situation, i might just go with the whole 'a variable for each page' if the 'only happens once' doesn't get fixed. But it's all not an ideal situation. but i'll consider putting an event in to allow you to reduce pages for now as well. (on top of all the other new things i've added since...)

You can find all the variables in the custom xml
Caius1 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 I found it! You can do it in the developer console / cheat console with command "campaign.set_skill_player Hekatonomicon | X". Where X is the level you want. I tested it with another skill by raising it by 1, so I guess it should have lowered my pages in book. We'll see the next time I find a page.

efefefuh Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Hi, I'm playing on 1.3.14 and while the mod seems to work fine (from what I've seen) whenever I go to enter a battle the game tells me "file read failed, check integrity of files" or whatever, it has nothing to do with the game files integrity as I've already narrowed it down to this mod causing the issue (it works fine when I disable this mod), anybody else have this issue or know of a solution?

What IS possible is that you have another mod that conflicts with either CE or mine specifically. Or my other mods, which at least do add assets to the game that might be missing. In carousing there are some modern images, as it features pole-dancing. And you'd be surprised how hard it is to find medieval street prostitution and toilet-play. The only alternative i'd have is to not show you an image at all or not have those events. idk man, if someone wearing a crop-top or there being pink spotlights on a stage in a few events is that bad to you, then feel free not to use the mod. G175012n24 Posted March 16 Posted March 16 I keep getting this random event popup that causes me to have to quit or reload a prior save because it doesn't have an option to resolve it, it's just stuck on this image. I can't figure out how to use console commands to force quit this event, if that's even a possibility. I'm using CE 1311 and the 1311 compatible version of this mod and buttered girls if that might make any difference.

I'm using CE 1311 and the 1311 compatible version of this mod and buttered girls if that might make any difference. i believe that image is from hot buttered girls but i only remember having that image show up once and it was apart of an event chain but i only ever had the image so up once so maybe that specific event chain is broken ever way ask at hot buttered girls maybe someone there might have an idea on why the event is firing outside of its event chain.
