good news everyone

 

just finished all msy frames. now shes  nude with boots and gloves.

i made small mistake hoever in frame 0224 and 0232 where i wanted her to be in lower position than the original one where i would fix it in my second relase.

ngl i didnt work hard but i worked smart, this might help other artists, some frames have repeatitive positions so i copy paste the nude body from previuos frame then apply some modifications using polygonal lasso tool to select body parts then free transform them to match the original frame arm or leg position.

if anyone wanna use my work please feel free to do so. put tattos on her, bikini or whatever i dont mind.

this is my contribution toward a free fully nude sor4 mod. i hope in future we can see a mod that allow us to strip any character in the game or maybe replace thier clothing or perhaps turn the fight moves into sex positions, who knows

I saw Wisky was working on Diamond base so I thought I'd pitch in and do the color variant version (unless someone else is already working on this?) 

@Wisky I borrowed the nipples from you if you don't mind, I  absolutely  suck at drawing XD

 

 

Unfortunately I am very bad at this kind of modding, I have zero sense of artistry and have avoided drawing for most of my life so the results of what I do might not be up to standards  of  those who have clearly done an awesome  job so far...in fact I feel that I know I'm butchering this badly with the colors.

 

Anyway I only just got started so I only have topless versions of 2 other frames so far:

And I  suppose I just need some feedback. I'm modding SOR4 for my own  needs too as you can imagine XD

So this is just a work in progress so far. Diamond topless version, though one frame is full nude so you might see her drop her pants for like one split second.

 

Like I mentioned before, I am no pro, a total beginner and have no clue what I'm doing half the time.

 

It will take me a little while to work on the full nude version but for the time being you can grab this work in progress to enjoy until I manage to get a full nude version going even though it might take me forever as I have zero artistic sense as I said before.

Edit: if someone can help me get the original diamond_0000.png I can make it so that this is just a pure topless version instead of the flickering one frame full nude mixed up in a bunch of topless frames.

Just a small preview I only managed to modify 3 frames for ruby so far, so eventually once this is done I will share again. It's a pretty botched up job with the colors but I did not claim to be an artist...I will claim the copy and paste specialist title though if there is one XD

Edit: so my focus will be to get all the different diamond palette colors to be topless first I think that would be awesome to see and make me more determined to grind SOR4 for the top score! The full nude will come way later, a small preview of the diamond frame I'm looking for if anyone has the backup copy:

I'd like to put her pants back on to make the topless animation complete, but  I forgot to back mine up so you will always have just the one nude frame among a whole lot of topless frames (unless of course you don't mind this small glitch hehe XD).

 

EDIT: Thanks for pointing out that SOR4 Explorer has the option to restore default frames:

 

If you haven't yet please grab the updated diamond file in post above, I just edited the post removed the broken attachment and added the fixed diamond, now it is a seamless topless diamond frames all round.

Like a total noob I forgot to back up the original Diamond frames that's why I ask if anyone can back this up for me and send me the very first frame to fix the flickering single nude frame so that it looks like a pure topless version.

 

I'll be working on the ruby frames next (topless version only) but this will take a while because skin color differs and there's no quick way to modify this using GIMP without damaging the nipple coloring irreversibly. Following that I will do pyrop and saphyr frames afterwards, be prepared for a long wait though as I need to smooth some of the different color skin lines out to make it match with the rest of the body.

 

Anyway without further ado please find attached topless garnet and redone topless diamond.

EDIT: please re-download the topless fix for diamond if you haven't already...flickering animation gone!

Yep, I'm no artist though the tits come from KairosZ who has a version of diamond wearing belt only pants-less (and pantsu-less *wink* *wink*) transparent tights, so I just borrowed tits (I mean this) for copy paste and create a topless only version of diamond, I'm shocked at how much time one needs to invest in just copying tits over (and recently recoloring them) so I don't want to know how much time has gone into drawing them.

I'm working on Ruby, Pyrop and Saphyr frames but this is taking a great deal longer than usual as I need to recolor the tits to match the skin. So far I have the standing and walking frames done for Ruby and just finished only 3 jumping frames, it is slow going to get the color right but I'm trying to wing it and shortcut where I can to save time.

 

I haven't started on the walking and standing frames for pyrop and saphyr but when I got to Ruby's jumping frames I thought why not recolor pyrop and saphyr jumping frames at the same time as I'm doing ruby. It's arguably a lot slower going if I do this but if I do then I will have only the walking and standing frames left to do for pyrop and saphyr.

An example so far:

I made a ton of color mistakes somewhere but I'm hoping they will be small and unnoticeable. I have no clue how to recolor the nips without destroying it completely, unfortunately I don't have editing software as fancy as Photoshop so I use GIMP and I don't even know how to use full functions of GIMP even just the basic lasso select, eraser and paint brush...and bucket in the hopes of speeding the re-color process up.

 

Edit: I forgot to mention the hitting motion frames which I also just finished for ruby but have yet to do this for the other two.

Yeah it takes a lot of time to edit those hehe but it looks amazing ♥

It's finally here the topless only version for Ruby, enjoy gents!

 

I made a few color mistakes with regards to lighting but I tried to smooth it over and hopefully it looks good anyway. Still working on Pyrop and Saphyr frames, but will share once this is done.

If im not mistaken, it might be the fact that your game is installed inside the x86 directory. That is a protected folder and it causes issues when modding. As a general rule, I install my games and steam, gog, etc.. into a root directory. For example: C:\Games

Also an access denied error usually means another program is accessing what SOR4 Explorer is trying to extract, it could be because the textures are open in another program, the game is running. It could be something as simple as elevated privileges is not high enough for the SOR4 Explorer?

Another way to run SOR4 Explorer is to get the code base from git hub and run it from cmd prompt using "dotnet run".

 

You need to ensure that .net Core 5 preview is installed though.

 

Edit: I'll put my money on programs that have textures open in another program, close down all programs and try again with only SOR4 Explorer running and the folder open of the textures you want to overwrite as the only two windows open.
