Updated skeleton link in the OP. For those that aren't aware' date=' astymma has released (with permission) a skeleton that merges the BNB skeleton with the BX (body extender) skeleton. This should work just fine with sexout, and is a standalone install -- you don't need to go digging in the BNB zip files.

 

Still working on getting us our own skeleton, but for now, the install process just got a little easier.

You still need the BnB install, my skeleton is just that, a skeleton, it doesn't contain any "bouncy" anims for walking, running, etc.. TBH, I would continue telling people to use BnB install since they get their animations and skeletons at the same time.

That's optional. The BNB skeleton is a requirement. Without it, several of the sexout animations, and NPCs added by legion tryout (and perhaps other mods) will have infinite tits.

 

People can install BNB and get the animations if they want to of course, but none of that is a requirement for sexout. I'll update the post to indicate that though.

In Tregarin's mod thread there is a download with the BnB skeleton and all included anims (edit: walking/running/etc anims, not sexout anims) and nothing else. There's literally no reason to download the large BnB archive and dig the files out yourself.

Three options. Now I'm going to have to just restructure that entry in the OP options list. Astymmas skeleton has more bones; if someone like Donkey gets excited (and I think he will, he was there for the discussion), then his may become the required one. It adds some additional bones he wants to make use of.

 

Hopefully if he does that, he'll warn me before I include such an anim in a download. ;)

The top two options are just broken/incomplete versions of the third one, iirc. I don't know why they're still there honestly, unless they got updated when I wasn't looking (which is possible).

 

Does Astymma's skeleton have penis/balls bones? The male genitalia never get any bouncy/animated love. :P

Wait, broken options? The three I mean are:

 

1. Just the BNB skeletons. This is a requirement for Sexout, in order for you to not have infinite tits. Bare minimum, doesn't affect vanilla game. Many may want this.

 

2. BNB full install. Some people like/prefer it.

 

3. Your link. Easiest for people (like me) that don't want all the BNB 'junk' because we use our own bodies. Downside is it's not entirely legit (unauthorized redistribution).

 

Yes, it has balls and penis; even BNB has penis, it just isn't used much. BX has more of them (6 rather than.. 4 IIRC), and one for each nut.

What we really need, if someone feels like putting those penis bones to use, is a new male body mesh and texture, using the BNB skeleton, that has the penis limp. So long as the sexout anims stiffen it up with the bones, we can provide an option that gets rid of all the male bodysuit stuff.

The BnB skeleton had support for balls and penis bones and so did the Body Extender skeleton. All I did was take the two skeletons, which each require their own bodies (weight painted to the skeleton) and each have their own animations.

 

In order for my skeleton to be useful you have two choices. Body swap to use both animation sets or design animations that mirror both bone sets (there are now 2 sets of breast bones and 2 sets of male genitalia bone sets) and then use either body.

 

The point of the skeleton was simply to provide a compatible skeleton you could keep in your install that would let you use either body and either set of animations. The one advantage Donkey will see in using this skeleton is that the penis has 1 more bone and the breasts have one more bone. Lets you animate the penis more accurately and lets you animate the nipples precisely.

Yes, the body mesh has to be weight painted to the skeleton for the bones to affect it during an animation. Adding weight painting to the penis would be really simple, basically a gradient weight paint so you get a natural curve.

I already made a fluent penis movement with body-extender, if this new skeleton is anything like that should be an easy fix. since body-extender was great but no clothes that supported it. So that is why i did not create anymore for it.

If he did, they were only video clips or blender files, not .kf animation files. I think there is only one right now, or two that are so similar they're hard to tell apart.

there should be 2 animations for super mutant. one is mutant graps the npc with 2 hands the other is when the super mutant is grapping an npc with 1 hand around here throut. Other then those 2 are not avaible yet.

 

The animation i was working on was before i knew how to import and export correctly, so they where scrapped since it was not working right.

Only anim I'm getting is the hands around the waist.

 

If someone ever got around to it, a blowjob anim where the woman bends at the waist to suck the super mutant would be awesome.

1402 looks "OK", needs some alignment and the SM is floating off the ground, but it's not enough to skip it. I'll have it in the random picker in the next release.

My new compatability skeleton includes all the bones from body extender plus bnb combined. Any body or animation based on either of those the skeleton will support. The hard part is adding in support for swapping to the appropriate body by animation base. We'd need to flag each animation as either Vanilla, BnB, and/or Body Extender and then have replacement bodies to use in SexoutNG as nude armors.

I don't really care/mind if the 'stiffening' is fluid or instant, I just think it's important that the bones are erect during sex, so sex looks right even if you've installed breezes with the default body mesh set to flaccid. Most of the anims don't seem to adjust the penis bones, so if you have sex, the dudes don't have hardons.

 

Right now the only way around this that I'm aware of is to either use a bodysuit, or install breezes with the default mesh set to erect. Both work, but bodysuits are a little problematic, and the default erect mesh just looks absurd when there are looted dead guys laying all over the place with hard-ons.

 

I'll try to find the time to go through the anims and see which ones are using the bones right and which ones aren't.

 

As for the skeleton, I wasn't aware that it was just a merge with *all* the bones from both skeletons. That's actually something of a problem, as using any of the BX bones in the anims will make your skeleton a requirement rather than simply another skeleton 'option', since the BNB skeleton lacks those bones.

If it didn't merge ALL bones it wouldn't be a compatability skeleton, it would be a replacement skeleton. It's meant to allow the swapping in and out of bodies from BnB to BE and back without issue. My concern is that new animations that would work fine with BNB skeleton alone if they were created with it, may be created using a mix of bones from both skeletons bones instead accidentally. This will result in animations that won't work right with the BNB or BX skeletons, but only the merged skeleton.

 

Meaning an animation using (for example) breasts from BNB but the penis from BX. How is that going to work? Which body mesh is the right one to use in that case?

All we'd need is a Breeze erect nude armor which permission is given to make for Breeze's males that is weighted to the BE bones. The Body Extender male mesh is quite hulk-ish and doesn't work with Breeze's textures.

I don't think you get what I mean. It's a compatability skeleton, not a replacement. So people should continue animating using their skeleton of choice and this will allow them to work together. Nobody should be using this skeleton to create an animation.
