Lack of Entertainment as Opportunity

The introduction of COVID-19 to the world has had a large number of ramifications. One of these is the attempt by health officials to keep crowds from forming. This, in turn, has led to the cancellation of many sporting events and the filming of TV shows and movies. People don't know what to do with all their new free time. This is compounded by the large number of people in those affected sectors of the economy who have been laid off. Going out to eat or flying to another country is declasse. So, in the interest of Public Health, what can we do to convince people that they should spend more time on their computers? How do we go about introducing people to the joys of out favorite games? And, how can we convince them to join us here on LoversLab for mods, games and just good conversation?

Remember, this is an LL service in the interests of Public Health! ?

All voluntary and involuntary quarantined (adult) people in this house know already about LL and what to do with their isolaed time.

Some neighbours are quite happy with their gardens ? ? and others are already piloting their armchairs through virtual lands. :classic_laugh:

Not much left to do here. ?

.. except for the two who work in hospitals. They are the unlucky ones. :classic_unsure:

We need some role models amongst our politicians and leaders. Perhaps some LL members could find their way onto the speech-writing staff, or gain control of the teleprompters.

I can already picture Boris Johnson delivering his daily briefing.

"People should, of course, still be washing their hands regularly for a good twenty seconds. After that, I'd advise everyone to sit down at the computer and get themselves to LoversLab.com. Wait... Are we sure that's right? ... Hmm? ... Oh, yes. LoversLab.com. That's the place to go to stay as healthy as possible. This is based on the very best science we have available to us right now. Get yourself on there, download some mods - they have some cracking bdsm stuff, fun for all the family - and start working on your one-handed skill. After that, wash your hands again. Twice."

In all seriousness, I hope everyone stays safe and healthy.

That's really sweet but fuck evangelists and the amount of "friendly modders" here that interacted regularly with the teeming masses and then immediately and mysteriously promptly fucked off to their little walled garden patreon echo chambers while complaining about walled garden echo chambers outnumber the modders still here by about a factor of three, nevermind the stolen valor folks that publish "content" solely for little green arrows.

The talk section and content pass through sections of LL might as well be completely different websites, cause they pretty much are.
