I got really annoyed by the "CompTick" that kept flooding my debug log, since it would eventually hit the debug log cap and I wouldn't be able to see any more messages. I've removed that and adjusted the milk generation logic (the code was... not pretty)Ā and some of the text to be consistent with the rest of Rimworld.

Ā

If nobody else decides to pick up maintenance of this mod, feel free to post any suggestions and I might try to add them in.

Would it be technically possible to make it so that the milk is directly added to the milkers inventory? I've got a prison setup where several female prisoners produce milk but when they get milked, the milk gets dropped in the cell and is "reserved for prisoners", so I have to manually pick up with a pawn because hauling is blocked by that.

Ā

Btw thanks for keeping this mod alive. Much appreciated.

I guess I could prolly fiddle with the files to do this myself, but am lazy and would rather ask (or maybe it's already implemented anyway?).Ā  Can you make it so that lactation increases hunger rate by like 10% or so?Ā  Milk gotta come from somewhere...

I haven't played vanilla Rimworld in a longĀ time, so I'm not sure if that sort of system would be vanilla-compatible. Last I recall, vanilla Pawns in Rimworld do not have inventories, and as such cannot store anything in them. If I am mistaken, please let me know. But I have encountered the same problem as you, since sometimes my lactating Pawns also produce milk in my jail that is automatically "reserved for prisoner use". So far, I'm not sure what the best solution would be for this kind of problem.

Hunger rate is already increased by 50% for permanently lactating Pawns, but not for regular lactating Pawns. You have a point, though. Added.

v1.3.2
- Fixed the HumanMilk problem, added a new MilkPatch provided by Gremilcar.
- Regular drug-induced lactation now increases hunger rate by 10%.

Well, this isn't working for me. It completely fucked up my hauling system. Pawns won't haul anything, even when I try to directlyĀ give haul orderĀ with right click. 'Prioritize hauling XX...' option won't even show.

Ā

Somehow Tory187's older version (MMC humanoid milk) works with no problem, so I'll stick withĀ that.

Hauling being borked confirmed.Ā  Switching back to older version restores hauling.Ā  Kept the lactation changes from xml (assuming it works), must be some issue with Gremilcar's patch...

IDK if this is something you already fixed or if it's a conflict with mods or whatever, but I got this mod some time ago and just recently started trying to play with it but found that It's causing pawns to not be able to haul anything. And when i go to manually tell them to haul, the option doesn't even show up in the rightclick bars.

You're reporting the bug that was first reported on October 1, which I fixed in v1.3.3 (I believe).

I'm not entirely sure why this script doesn't add HumanoidMilk to the ingredient list of latte from the tea and coffee mod. Can someone enlighten me?

Seems silly to ask, but for natural/regular Lact-XĀ lactation, does size go back down once lactation finishes?Ā  Don't feel like waiting around to test an entire progression.

Ā

Also, does using HyperLact-MAX overwrite normal Lact-MAX?

Does it work on old saves? In my current colony the meter goes up but you can't click on a pawn and there is no milk. New saves work fine

Also can you add that milk meter goes faster on archtech implants?

Thanks for your work on this!

Ā

I'm curious why any tweaks I make to theĀ HumanCompHasGatherableBodyResource.cs file does not change anything in game. I was hoping to adjust limits and rates of growth but I can't.

So the Kijin race isn't working because it seems they changed the hediff for themĀ from kijin_race to alien_kijin, no idea how to fix or make alter the mod to make it work sadly.
