I'm currently exploring solstheim with a dark elven rogue that only did the thieves guild quests by now. I already had 1 or 2 hours of adventuring without the dragonborn main quest starting. I think they did a great job capturing the atmosphere of morrowind in dragonborn, and I already stumbled across less generic side quests than a majority of the main game quests are.

I can't say anything about the buggyness, but I don't use that many mods.

I had the missing textures in FINIS, but that has been fixed as far as I can see with the new update.

I too can't wait what awesome stuff people will mod with the new morrowind like textures and meshes. I hope someone builds vivec. :D

As soon as I saw I was dowloading an HD texture pack from Steam, I knew I had to delete the esp. I did so when the download was complete and added the texture pack bsa to my skyrim ini in mydocuments/mygames/skyrim(windows 7).

I deleted all my saves and started from scratch with a new character and encountered my "initiation" of dawnguard and it seemed to go fluently.

I had never played any of the skyrim dlc thusfar, so this will be a first with any and all of the dlc, so I can't comment other than this.

There was a conflict with the unofficial patches with fighting dragons and absorbing souls, but I saw they came out with an unofifcial patch that may had fixed it.

I don't use the unofficial patches yet, so I am unsure exactly, may want to google it.

A nice touch of nostalgia. I'm a bit annoyed with how the dragonriding works, but limitations will be limitations. Was still fun strafing frost trolls and reavers though. The only glitch I experienced was animation problems, and those seem to have been fixed.

Ok I guess I'm done with the main quest (hope I haven't missed anything) and the end is pretty unsatisfying in my opinion, really loved Hermaeus Mora's realm though. All in all I actually liked the DLC so far (still not finished) and it has some suprisingly awesome rewards and shouts.

I must say that I'm pretty much dissapointed about this DLC.

The story line was too short <Finished it in less than 2 hours>

I hope there will be some Mini-DLC with Mora (Or Mod)

Do you use UFO or another companion mod?  Because if so, that's the problem.  I had that exact same issue with Hearthfire before UFO got a patch for it.

I bought Dragonborn and installed the Dragonborn Unofficial Fix Patch from Nexus. Only problem I've had so far is using the elevator in Telvanni Tower.

Spoiler:

It is not anything special or big or unique. I know for people that have played and miss Morrowing this is a nod in their direction and maybe they feel something special when playing this, but to me the land mass itself was small. The NPCs non-unique or special. the missions lame fetch this and find that missions.

Honestly the only moment I stopped and felt a "Wow" moment is when I went to Telvanni Towers and saw Red Mountain in the distance spewing smoke. There was something special about that. So far not impressed. Do yourself a favor and wait for it to be on special. I paid $20 I wish I had gotten it for $5. The armors that are added are not spectacular in any way shape or form.

Can't wait for the modding community to add their special touches to it and make it something grand. I keep dreaming of the day I will be able to travel all over Tamriel including Cyrodil, Skyrim, Morrowind, Elsweyr, Valenwood, and Summerset Isles with graphics as good as Skyrim's powering it. Someday maybe.

I did like it overall but the main quest is a bit bleh. This DLC feels more like Point Lookout with a higher number of different smaller quests rather than Dawnguard with its one long quests and only a few smaller ones. Think I prefer Dragonborns way of doing things since even if you don't like the main quest there is still plenty to do. Also the Bloodskal Blade is a lot of fun to use.

[spoiler=Main quest spoilers ahead]Miraak though kind of sucks as villian. He seems like a guy who just has to one to one up you no matter what (you killed Alduin? oh yeah?! well, I could of killed him as well but I was, like, err, busy man!) It feels more like Mora should of been the villian but as always bethesda protagonists apparently grew up over a leaking gas main and never figure out "hey maybe this guy Miraak isn't the big bad in all this." Would of be nice to tell Hermaeus Mora to shit off at the end or maybe even team up with Miraak to kick the jerks ass. or perhaps just stopping Mora from killing him in the end like how Geralt can tell the wild hunt to piss off and stay out his fight with the final boss in "The Witcher"

Still, don't regret buying and the new armor and weapons looks great to me especially the new nord equiment.
