I maxed the chances and my character keeps getting combat raped' date=' but nothing happens [/quote'] Looks like the kidnapping sequence is trigerred by a Sexout item that is not used anymore by SexoutNG (00SexoutRecovering), so it never proceed! I'll look at it tomorrow night. I'm just finishing up a half dozen or so more changes, taking care of this while I'm in there. Will require testing of kidnap sequences.
prideslayer Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Trial run from 'voluntary' capture to turning tricks, all seems well. Need someone to test kidnapping and see if it's fixed now. Here's a list of what I changed.. Changes: 1. All sex calls converted to NG syntax. 2. Full intro sequence NGified with callbacks. The only quest stages needed for the intro now are 30 and 31. The general idea is to keep the dialog topic list the way it is now, and just up the quest stage only when a person has to talk multiple times. The first time everyone talks in SexoutSSNewTurn it's always stage 30, then it jumps to 31 when Dermot is ready to say his 2nd line, then on to 49 as normal. I haven't removed the other stages (32-38), they can still be used for something else if needed, but their 'comments' are all wrong now in the stage notes. 3. Bulk of quest intro 'supervisor' removed thanks to #2. 5. While doing #1, made sure that the proper settings were chosen for M vs. F tricks, a few were wrong. Set all the female ones to 'oral' rather than random as well. 6. Changed SOSSSewerDoor1Ref to a persistent reference, to get rid of script errors in SexoutSSYes. This may have been responsible for some crashes. I don't know how it was even saved this way; Someone probably took the flag off the door after it was already set and the script written. 7. Also as a result of #1, all the anal-specific dialog things had their internal anim picker removed, which means.. more anims for all to see! 8. Kidnapping *should* be working again, but this needs tested. Please crank up your kidnap percentage, get yourself raped, and let me know.. 9. Fixed one or two spots where a specific act was mentioned, but not being set in the sexout call. Some other notes: 1. The NCR conversation stuff looks kind of broken. Is it actually used anywhere? 2. The 'hindlick' bit about "don't insult me" isn't random nor checking any flags. Before I 'fix' it, is it working as intended? Edit: daguy, don't download this until your issue is fixed, or it's going to stop working for you entirely. Since all the calls were migrated to NG, override no longer has any effect on SS. Edit2: Removed attachment, trying to keep confusion in this thread to a minimum.

When my character is getting raped, only the NPC is doing the animations while my character just stands there. 2. When my character gets kidnapped, she just lies there. The guy walks up to her, but the "character is unconscious" message just repeats

Currently the healing in this mod is not compatible with Arwen's Realism Tweaks (he just walks away after agreeing to heal you); radaway and pheromones work fine as they are. I think the current dialogue would allow for this. I only saw the doc mention concern about hording with radaway.

[/quote'] I think that would break the point of it to an extent, because you could ask for a stimpack, go sell it, ask for another, etc. Do you have any idea what specifically about Arwen's is making the stimpack not work? AFAIK in the code, all it's doing is giving you one, then making you use it right away. Do stimpacks work normally in that mod otherwise?

Stimpacks in Arwen's can be used for specific reasons rather than just to add HP, usually to close wounds so the character doesn't bleed to death. But they're used like that through a separate menu, just using them normally doesn't help.

If so, I could check for Arwens being loaded and use one of those instead. What about doctor bags? Do they work the same way or have they been adjusted as well? Worst case, I can make him actually heal you rather than using any kind of item at all, but I'd have to come up with some kind of formula so he doesn't just bring you back to 100% like a normal doc.

The problem is that with the changes Arwen's makes, just healing HP is usually useless, you need to use the stimpack in a certain way or you will die.

The problem is that with the changes Arwen's makes, just healing HP is usually useless, you need to use the stimpack in a certain way or you will die. I think the most likely conflict with Arwen's is the stimpack injection animation (that is part of Arwen's Med-Tec module I believe) - with Sexout trying to start sex anims at the same time I guess. At least one vanilla NPC can gift me stimpacks successfully. An alternative item HP source could be a Bitter Drink (better than healing powder) which with my char would equal the HP from a stimpack - certainly no anims for anything other than stimpacks. Not sure about doctor's bags, I know hydra works for limbs though. As zippy57 said, a healing method like a vanilla doctor would certainly mean the difference between life and death sometimes (without access to various medical supplies like bandages); though I agree healing 100% would be over the top (unless maybe there were consequences like also charging caps, I dunno). Dying while getting fucked by a doctor would be kind of amusing though. It would at least be nice to be able to get some HP as intended. Cheers

prideslayer Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Found and fixed the unconscious bug. Good news is, that will be crushed in an upload shortly. Bad news, the restrained animation/pose will no longer play. Gory details: Kidnapping was happening during the sex act, and letting the sex act complete. This knocks the player unconscious thanks to the cum/knockdown effect. I changed it to let the sex act finish before the fade-to-black, after sexout is all 'done' processing. Because of this, the camera is no longer in TFC, and so the bondage animation will not play. I'm looking into a quick fix for this. Doing this was easier than letting kidnapping happen during the sex act, and then checking for and removing all the tokens and stuff that may be present, as well as those of the rapist. I'm taking a quick stab at fixing the percentage thing (it isn't even checked right now, rape = kidnapping, always) before uploading. My mistake, it is being checked, but it runs so fast that the kidnapping is eventually going to succeed, since it keeps checking over and over during a single sex act. Easy enough to fix, standby.

Added checks to the system to delay the kidnapping script in the sewer until the player is conscious and unrestrained, to give sexout time to clean up after itself. - The health percentage check is fixed. This was testing it against the MCM value but they are of different scales; the MCM var is 0-100, while the GetHealthPercentage function returns 0.0 to 1.0. - Fixed MCM descriptions and mouseovers, The 'threshold' ones were all re-branded 'health', and the mouseovers for health made more descriptive. One of them was backwards indicating the wrong control. - If the kidnapping check fails, it will not check again for 30 seconds. This is to give sexout time to finish, so the SS script doesn't keep testing the percentages against the same actor repeatedly. -- The long term solution to that last bit is to move all the kidnapping stuff into a spell, and use the NG global sex hook instead, as this can be guaranteed to run only once per sex act, no matter how long the act is. Checking the ref ID of the 00SexoutActor token might work as well for a simpler fix. I started a LITTLE work here, just made the script; it's 00SexoutSSKidnapBaseEffect, and should be renamed to have 'script' at the end. I did not actually make the base effect or spell. I will probably spend a little more time looking this over tomorrow and this weekend, but for now it seems to be working OK for me. The down side, as mentioned, is you will no longer be laying down / in the 'tied up' pose when kidnapped, because playidle doesn't work when not in TFC. Adding a line to turn TFC on would be simple enough, but I didn't want to do it without testing. EDIT: Works better with the file. EDIT2: Download removed and put here instead.

We're in such a mess of versions here you might have and then had it get lost either by me in my previous release or anyone else along the way... In any case, they're all updated now and I've removed all the other ESPs I uploaded. I think everyone else should do the same just to help keep the confusion down to a minimum. I'm pondering starting a new thread of my own just to keep the OP up to date with the latest download, and adopting SS until someone wants to take it over permanently. I have more changes I'd like to make for sure.
