prideslayer Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Thanks a lot' date=' now this makes a bit more sense. I was suspecting that it might be the NPC, however, according to the GECK Wiki "Target" meant the NPC and "Subject" the player: The Run on Target checkbox is used to indicate that the function should be run on the actor’s current target instead of on the actor themselves. Since this one was run on "Subject" and not on "Target", I assumed it meant the player (assuming further that "actor" meant the PC and therefore "Target" the NPC.) Just to explain how I reached this conclusion. The 'actor' in that quote is always the NPC, because only NPCs can run quest dialogs. If you read further: The Run on Target checkbox is used to indicate that the function should be run on the actor’s current target instead of on the actor themselves. The Player is usually considered a target for conditions in quests. The player is the target, therefore, the NPC is always the subject. It is however unclear, and the GECK wiki is a better resource to start with. It will link you to the TES wiki when appropriate. Here's the GECK page on the quest tutorial, conditions section: http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php/Quest_and_Dialogue_Tutorial#Conditions * Run on: Subject. This means that condition will be applied to the talking subject, and it is always NPC. If you want to run a condition on Player, you should choose a Target. If the function is run on non-actor, use Subject, Reference or Linked Reference.
monolith Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Actor is not necessarily the player. Its the dude that does the stuff as instructed by the quest. The disarm stuff is a dialogue for a npc so he is the actor. too late again... i write too slow:)

Target is not always the player, since an NPC could be talking to another NPC, but subject is always an NPC.
monolith Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 Only in dialogue, because thats the way Oblivion and Fallout handle those things. Its always someone talking TO the player. But conditions can be applied to animations, aiPackages and the like. So saying that subject is always for npcs helps if he is only ever doing dialogue but might be confusing if he does other stuff too. Subject is always the subject:) Just variables. Just ask yourself WHO is doing stuff and WHO has stuff done to him and apply subject and target accordingly.
ChancellorKremlin Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 It's good to see something being done with the NCR troopers in the sewers, I feel they need some fleshing out. Either as a means of escape or even further torture, who knows, maybe they are in on the whole thing?
irzal Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 I thought it depended on the Faction you are in. If you sympathize with the Legion they will love to rape you, but if you helped the NCR they pity you and try to help you. Maybe you have to do a little quest for them, like killing the fiends a bit more up the hill (so they can leave their posts and get help for you). At the moment I need to figure out a few things concerning factions. Also I added an option to get healed by the Ghoul Doc when you are totally and severely crippled. (This is my testing ground so far...)
irzal Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 So. Sorry for double post. This is the result of one working day. I am really slow with this and user friendly is something that G.E.C.K. doesn't accomplish. This version has as a change: - the option to be healed by the Ghoul Doc, when being crippled or hurt too much (I changed his name, because I found "Hindlick" a bit too much) - a lightly altered dialogue when being captured by Dermot - the beginning of a conversation with the NCR soldiers (nothing happens at this stage, but they should acknowledge how well liked you are with the NCR) I would welcome testers.
nightmare08 Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 i dont know if this has been brought up, but whenever i talk to dermot and he says follow me he doesnt move anywhere, he just gets up and stands there. sorry if this has been brought up but i dont want to read through 26 pages of posts is there any fix?
stinger5009 Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 When will Dermot come to collect things from me? I have been captured for over a day, and I have some weapons to fight for my freedom, but he just didn't show up again. And I found a interesting thing, dogs in the sewer will approach you like a human! This only happened in the sewer, don't know is this a bug, but it's amusing:) Just some thoughts, would someone make this plugin to have more connections with The Thorn? Something like, if you don't earn enough staffs or caps in a certain time, you will be forced to fight monsters or do some "shows" in the Thorn. Should be interesting, but I understand this could be complicated to make.
Hamburglar Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Dermot chased me down on the strip to collect money even though I had successfully escaped. I tried to just flee and suddenly the securitrons started attacking me. Letting Dermot take my money and screw money, he then started attacking me and blew off my head even though I didn't have a collar.

ChancellorKremlin Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 These bugs that has been reported, such as Dermott not showing up, dogs approaching you and Dermott showing up even after you escaped, are leftovers from the previous version (pre irzal that is) that had not been fixed. Any future updates which adds content should look into these first, which along with crashes near Westside, are the reason I have temporarily de-activated this mod.
LTD Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 No matter which version of the SexoutSS.esp I use I get the unconcious bug. Any ideas what's going on there?
rgfb62 Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Two things one I have to use the resurrect command after being kidnapped to make anything happen. Otherwise I just lay there unconscious Two after I am done with dermot I end up sinking/falling through the floor. Entering an anim corrects it... but it's quite annoying. Here is my load list if it helps FalloutNV.esm Sexout.esm MikotoBeauty.esm SexoutLegion.esm rePopulated Wasteland.esm populatedcasino.esp MikotoBeauty.esp SexoutRapers.esp Smalltalk.esp SexoutProstitutes.esp SexoutSS.esp SexoutKhans.esp SexoutKings.esp SexoutNCR.esp SexoutPowderGangers.esp The Mod Configuration Menu.esp
ChancellorKremlin Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Are you both using Irzal's latest version? All of these bugs seem to be reminiscent of a a much older, pre-irzal version, not even the latest one before his came out. I am using the latest version of (I can't remember the original author) the 'original' SexoutSS and everything works fine. It's almost like Irzal may have modded the plugin from an older version and brought with it all the bugs those versions had.
iron_jack Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 For the record, I had the unconscious bug with the latest pre-irzal version. I've never begun the mod "normally", only through knockout/kidnap.
irzal Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Just for the record: My version as it stands now is not usable. As far as I know it crashes when the Central Sewers are added. I was modding from the version jbezorg made - which is the one linked in the first post by loogie. I didn't know that there existed a more recent one.
Lordhavoc Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 with the unconscious thing a solution could be opening the command window (` button) clicking on yourself and trying resurrect, i know it works on Unconscious Npcs ive come across in the game (when a mod mess's up for what ever reason) and not had the chance to try it on myself, so its something you could try

"GetAV Fatigue" will tell us (initially) what is going on. If the value is extremely high (several thousand), there's the problem.

GECK wiki page on resurrect has a bunch of warnings about it possibly crashing the game, sending people falling through the world, etc.
Lordhavoc Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 if they fall back through the world, well meh not alot can be done just pray to what ever god you want that the game doesn't crash or mess up (so far ive been lucky but now saying that its gonna bug up on me i just know it LOL)
urqy Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 I was having this problem earlier today (unconscious after kidnap), and tried the SetUnconscious 0 solution and it did not work (Resurrect didn't work either...) Tried waiting it out by advancing time a few hours but no avail. I ended up loading an earlier version of SexoutSS (as mentioned a few pages back) and haven't had the same problem. I will probably reload the "latest" version again and find out what the fatigue level is (as you mentioned) since I didn't think of that before.

If it's a fatigue induced unconsciousness, then neither of those things will work (as you experienced) as the fatigue level will just knock you out again right away.
urqy Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 Tried it again using Irzal's latest version (post 260). Still had the perma-unconsciousness going once the kidnapping took place and the character was transported to the sewer with Dermot continually trying to engage the player. Fatigue level during the sex anim was 540. Fatigue level in the sewers while unconscious was also 540. GetUnconscious said the character was not unconscious. I reset fatigue level to 0, but still no movement from the body. Also tried "SetUnconscious 0", but still no movement. Does anybody have other ideas to try? If it's a fatigue induced unconsciousness' date=' then neither of those things will work (as you experienced) as the fatigue level will just knock you out again right away. [/quote']
