vinceagashi Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 I've tried uninstalling likely culprits but it's still there enb2020_1_27_13_48_26.bmp

Monolithical Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 I remember having the same issue a while ago, every single werewolf mesh/texture (regardless if they were marked Male/Female/Whatever) would change to this and it was a bit annoying to fix at the time. I never had the mod linked above installed but it still managed to show up in my game. I don't remember what happened to fix the issue but if you're using Vortex I would check your current in-game files for the white werewolf textures; Then edit them in some way in order to have Vortex alert you of which mod had "outside changes" so you can pinpoint what added those textures.

Spontaneous mod installation they call it. A rare but serious problem, because you never know when your perfect loadorder will be ruined by an spontaneous mod installing itself. ... Or these textures (or different but similar ones) came with another mod you installed. Pick one, whatever makes more sense to you.
Mez558 Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 Same, I have that skin. Not sure what mod it came from but it's not Bellyache's I will have a look so what it could be, I don't mind it so whenever it appeared I just accepted it. Can only see two mods that would affect the texture MNC (which since MMG has already responded, we can safely rule out) and Mighty Beasts (which appear to have installed manually) but looking at the images from that mod it doesn't have this texture so the only thing I can think of is that I've extracted texture files from a BSA and then uninstalled that mod, forgetting that I had done this. Or is dkdcda's answer and a spontaneous mod installation. I am now curious to find where these come from, I don't want them removed I just want to know where they come from.
MadMansGun Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 do you have any vampire/Serana mods? because some of them edit the werewolves as well.

Well I have so far been unable to find it in anything I have downloaded. The skin comes with Diverse Werewolves but according to my Nexus account I've never downloaded that and certainly can't find any sign of it on my PC. None of the Serana overhauls I can find in my mod folders have werewolf textures included. You could post your mod list. See if anyone recognises anything. Well I also found it here I can't see that I have this anywhere on my PC either but I may have installed that before.. Perhaps

Just Don't Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 What mod manager do you use? If it's MO or Vortex you could do a search in your mods folder for files like "werewolfbody.dds", with that you could track the mod or mods providing these textures. If you use NMM or do manual installs you can just remove these textures or replace them with others you like.

You are the one who downloaded and installed whatever mod it is. How do you expect anyone to guess what the mod is if you can't find it with all your mods sat in front of you. Try engaging your brain and either disable mods until you find it or look at your mods and figure out what is doing what.

I wouldnt make this post if I hadn't spent a few hours trying. I was hoping to get some suggestions for mods it might be and match it to what I have.

This seems like a really good tool I can use going forward as well. Thanks for the suggestion
vinceagashi Posted January 28, 2020 Author Posted January 28, 2020 It appears it was All-in-one uunp HDT AP 4.0. I would have never guess that.

donttouchmethere Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 AIO is okey with MNC SLAL Just don't overwrite anything from MNC and friends with it. There is also an option NOT TO INSTALL creature related files in FOMOD. Let MNC and XPMSE and ABC HDT win over AIO Also MNC comes with all textures you need, don't overwrite MNC and ABC User error not AIO-P error!
