Grumpf Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 The brick texture on the shop doesn't tile. I anyway thinks that the blocks were a bit huge. Nothing wrong if the building was made for it like Ayleids ruins but this mesh was designed with small bricks in mind. I went ahead and created another textures + normalmap. It's not perfect as the uv mapping doesn't work that well. I think it's because the same texture was used for the entire mesh and originally it was several ones with different resolutions and mapping (like the chimney for example). This is what I mean: in this example you can see tiling of 1 is 200% the tiling of 2 and the stairs "x" section, doesn't work at all. If you intend to scatter several of those shops accross Cyrodiil, we can leave it with a simple retexture (like that building.7z). If not, I can modify the mesh to point to 2 or 3 different textures, even if it's the same brick with another tiling scale. Cheers! Side note: For a commercial point of view, if I was the owner of the shop I would have painted the wall facing the bridge of the IC so the shop can be seen from distance.

Ark of Truth Posted December 30, 2012 Author Posted December 30, 2012 Well the thing is Thor it is ready, it was ready almost 2-3 weeks before Christmas. The only problems is Mailmea is the one that did that conversion so until she gets back it can't be released. I would do it myself but considering she has already converted it I decided not to because she had already put her time and effort into it. Even though she has been logging ever now and then she has been really quiet and not answering her PMs. I just hope nothing bad has happened and that she is OK
