beau nidle Posted June 27, 2017 Posted June 27, 2017 Can't seem to find my original query now, but I've solved my download problems - turns out that another application was overwriting my proxy settings and that proxy was causing the download to fail. Reverted the settings and now everything works fine! Just posting this in case it helps someone else. Beau

Ohgun Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Okay, what I am I doing wrong? I keep getting #1087991 errors every time I attempt to download a mod from this site, but one of the mod developers told me there was something on my end that is causing constant errors during every download attempt! What do I have to do to stop these goddamn errors from popping up!?
Guest Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 First of all clean the browser cookies. Second, in case you are using an AdBlocker, try to disable it.
Ohgun Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Now I see what's wrong. None of the links to this website has an https:// at the beginning of the url address. I think that's why I can't download anything from this website.

I suspect that what's lost are files uploaded during these 2 days that you mentioned plus a lot of stuff uploaded by people like me who made the mistake to fix it on their own by reuploading their newest files. The versions I reuploaded are there, but everything earlier (going back to summer last year) seems to be lost in the ether.

Guest Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 I have problems problems with the download too after wait the 20 seconds the download start and cancel with an error. Sorry about my english... What is your browser? Quel est ton browser ? Quale e' il tuo browser? Kakoy u vas brauzer? Cual es tu navegador
Bazinga Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 Nevermind, I'll fix it on my own. Meaning the older versions of my mods should be downloadable again in a couple of minutes, at least the ones I can still find on my harddrive.
Sunja44 Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 Initializing download starts (not the download itself) became slower and slower after the 10 seconds countdown and after a while downloads just didn't start anymore at all (I don't even get an error message window now). I use the newest Firefox browser version (PC version). I use Adblocker Ultimate and Disconnect Me, but it's the same experience even if I deactivate them (and usually downloads worked with them activated anyways). I have a 100 Mbit/s fibre internet connection. I used to set my browser that he should ask me before actually downloading .zip and .rar files in Firefox, that's my default for a long time here and it always worked. I cleaned the whole browser chronic (cookies and stuff). I am updating all my SexLab mods at moment, the last mod I miss is Fill Her Up - NetImmerse Override Compatibility Patch. Pretty frustrating to get booted so close at the end.. EDIT: It works now again. After I upgraded Nividia Experience and my Nvidia driver to 385.28 suddenly all my initialized download attempts popped up as a request if I want to really save the .zip file to my harddrive. As I attempted a lot my screen was cluttered with request boxes...Since when has a graphic card driver an influence on download initializations for .zip files ? Maybe it was just an incident. EDIT2: The driver doesn't seem to be the issue. Downloads are still very different in download initiliazitation speed. In addition there is some strange behaviour with the download path. Although my set standard path is my download folder, the download doesn't let me save the file to that folder. Instead it gives me a patch somewhere in my PC app data as save location. I need to copy it over to my Download Folder. In addition the whole site behaves slow. Either this is a Firefox issue, or the files I wanted to download are still somewhat hit by your server trouble you had formerly. The newer Firefox versions do not support the Java plugin anymore, maybe this is a reason.
Guest Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 We do not use Java on the site. And it looks like a problem on your browser. Did you try Chrome or IE?
Sunja44 Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 I tried Edge and it worked flawlessly. Seems as if the best times of Firefox are over, sad.
Guest Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 I tried Edge and it worked flawlessly. Seems as if the best times of Firefox are over, sad. Some people reported that some Adblockerfor FFox has problems with downloading and uploading. Try to disable them (if you have them) for LLab, and re-try. Be aware that Ads are paying our bills for the servers.
Hybris50 Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 Browser: Firefox 55.0.3 (64 bit) 1Gb internet connection Every time I try to download a file I keep getting "something's gone wrong" error and that I need to wait 10 seconds before trying again only to get the exact same error. I use uBlock Origin and NoScript but even with LL white listed or even turning everything off leave a stock firefox build I keep getting this error. I first ran into this trying to download Four-Play prostitution and ran into it again trying to grab the four-play community patch, and a random Skyrim mod. Is this common with the most recent firefox build? Any suggestions as to how to get downloads working again? I would be grateful for any help I can get. Internet explorer seems to work so the issue is either site or browser based most likely.
Guest Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 Just tried with a test account to do a couple of download with firefox. All went well. Try to clean up the cookies, and to disable AdBlocking.
Hybris50 Posted September 21, 2017 Posted September 21, 2017 Just tried with a test account to do a couple of download with firefox. All went well. Try to clean up the cookies, and to disable AdBlocking. Cleared cookies, disabled noscript and uBlock, and restarted Firefox. Attempted to download the first file I could find and got the same error.
