I wouldn't recommend it. Spawning a character like that is not a reliable way to get past bugs.

Do you have any quests for Benjen running right now?

You might try this (replace xx with the load order value for TAP):

prid xx07a5db
moveto player

The collector comes to you every two weeks so that you don't have to return to Riften to pay what you owe Benjen.

I'm asking if a quest is running because I have seen Benjen wandering the countryside before during Political Favor. I haven't had a chance to track it down, but it's possible he's just roaming for you, too.

Hey, great mod.

But i had the tasting party bug, where the quest just doesn’t even start.

With the new update, the exhibition or "The Art of Female Love"-quest doesn’t start either. Every other quest worked so far. I suspect, that there is a connection between those two bugs (to be honest, I did not try the tasting party in the new update yet).

Is anyone else having this issue?

Edit:

Okay, I just left the Brothel and entered it again. Asked for that special job and it worked. So nevermind I guess ^^

Can anyone help me figure out what to do in the Morthal quest, "Where Spirits Have Sex"? I'm so confused. I go out and see the spirits screwing, and I can't figure out what to do. It's just making my character really horny, watching them. In the dark it's hard to see if there is any journal on the ground or dead bodies or anything.

That quest is bugged in the latest release, unfortunately. If you look a few pages back you should be able to find some workarounds, but the easiest one seems to be to disable SexLab temporarily before you go out to the marsh.

Hi, I love the mod, thank you very much for developing it. I really like that it tries to be lore accurate while having a lot of variation and quests at the same time.

I was wondering, have you ever consider doing different payments for different kind of sexual acts? For example, maybe someone is kinda broke and just wants to get some steam off, so he goes to you/to the brothel just to get a blowjob or a handjob (10-20) Or maybe he likes doing it rough, and as such it costs him more (80). It's just that I believe that everything costing 50 is kinda weird, and it would add some depth to the clients. Of course there are also clients that want the usual or that go which whatever you recommend them. It's something that I loved in the Working Girl mod, where you would unlock different type of sex that paid more as you progressed.

Just a suggestion of course, thanks again for the great mod.

Thank you for the kind words!

I've thought about things like you suggest, although to be honest it's a fairly low priority on my list of things to get done. Bringing in someone who wants to be rough is a little trickier for me. I'm not completely opposed to having it as something that happens on occasion, but I also want to avoid any general sense of hatefulness or extreme misogyny, because I personally find those things tiresome when I play if they come up too often. That's not to say I aim to keep TAP entirely free of it. Benjen himself is a hateful asshole, after all.

This is one of the reasons I love this mod so much. It's not all a dark desire to be abused. Despite what demagogues would have you believe; sex trafficking, and shady gold diggers are the fringes of prostitution; not a general representation of it.

I know this has probably been asked before, I had alot of trouble with the ghosts in the marsh quest and not being able to interact with the female when they finish and have looked from the beginning of this thread up until a few pages ago I did see a workaround. Now my problem I've been ignoring in the meantime is the Windhelm license quest.  I do not want to join the stormcloaks but that is only dialog option that Ulfric has. Is there a workaround for this or do I need to continue on and wait until eventually I remove his head?

Love the mod BTW, I can tell alot of work has went into this and it is awesome

You don't have to join the Stormcloaks to get a license in Windhelm. The license quest will take one of three paths depending on whether you have taken sides in the civil war.

You cannot get a license until the civil war is over if you have already joined the Imperial side when you go to ask about it, though. If you even ask about it, you'll either have to let yourself be arrested and abused or fight your way out of Windhelm.

Edit: If you haven't spoken to Jorleif, then that's the person you need to talk to.

Thank you for replying so fast. Yes I did talk to  Jorlief, he stated I needed to speak with Ulfric, but says a line about him being busy and the guards possibly having me spend time in prison for bothering him. When  my dialog option appears it is only one line, that I'm there to join the stormcloaks. I have finished the Alduin quests but have not started any civil war quests, unless by going too far with Alduin I have locked out the dialog option for a license with Ulfric. I definitely haven't joined either side of the civil war. Is there a consol command to access the part where I'm given whatever direction from Ulfric to earn the license??

Thanks again for your previous quick reply and I apologize for probably messing this up and having to bug you.

Sorry I just reread my last post.

When I talk to Jorlief about the license he says I have to ask Ulfric. When I click on Ulfric is who threatens jail time for bothering him and my dialog line is literally only one sentence,  I want to join the stormcloaks.

I kinda made it sound like most of that interaction was with Jorlief previously, the talk with him was super simple, it's the Ulfric part that has me stuck

Oh, I think what you're talking about is actually vanilla behavior. You have to go through that interaction first, and then you should be able to talk to him again.

However, if Jorleif is telling you to talk to Ulfric, then something has happened to make the mod think you've joined a side. Can you run these console commands?

player.getinfaction 2bf9a
player.getinfaction 2bf9b

If the first one has a result of 1, then you are in the Imperial faction. If the second one does, you're in the Stormcloak faction.

Thank you again.  Apparently by finishing the Alduin main quest I became associated with imperials,  I so far in the game haven't even went inside castle Daur once but it is what it is. Thank you for the help. Was hoping to go try out the stormcloak camp stuff, but maybe next play through, as on this one I got put in jail, didn't resist as I didn't think I had joined either faction, got rescued and now living my best life avoiding any prostitution in Windhelm area lol

The Season Unending quest can change your allegiance in the civil war, so it may also be the quest that put you in the Imperial faction if it decided that you favored the Imperials in the peace talks.

the quest "Where spirits have sex" I cant work out what I'm supposed to do. I've gone around town asking everyone, and the only thing I've got from Falion is that I'm supposed to talk to the lady after but I'm not getting any prompt am I missing anything?

No, the quest is broken in 0.13. Workarounds are to disable SexLab before going into the marsh or to use the console to set stages past it. Look back a few pages for details.

Is there a way to work legally at the New gnisis cornerclub in windhelm, even though i got a license i got fined for working there without the owner permission, but when i talk to Ambarys Rendar i don't get any dialogue to ask him to work there, so i thought it was maybe tied to the candlehearth inn permission so i went there to get the permission, but still got flagged at the cornerclub.  Is it just not possible (tied to the fact you can't rent a bed there maybe) or is it something on my part wich prevent the dialogue from appearing. At first i thought that maybe the dialogue would only appear if i was a dunmer, wich would have make sense that they only allow dunmer to work there, but i just started a new dunmer refugee playthrough and just found out i couldn't do it.

BTW i'm still on version 0.12, haven't updated to the new version yet if that matters, thx for all the work you put into that mod

To start working, I think they have to be a room renter, so yeah, it's probably because you can't rent a room there. I'll add that to my list, though, because blocking you from working there isn't intentional.

Awesome mod, really, especially the Falkreath part was appealing to me. Just one thing: The Morthal quest "Where spirits have sex" has a bug that doesn't let you activate the female ghost unless you deactivate SexLab in the MCM menu before meeting the spirits. Which is a shame.

It would be great if you posted this workaround on the mod main page or - even better - would release a patch for this, should you find the time. It really breaks the immersion of the otherwise superb quest when everything comes to a halt. I found this workaround in the forum section to your mod on page 20 or so. Before that I thought I had done something wrong and searched Morthal for a really long time for an ingame solution.

No offense intended though, I really love your mod! It has depth to it, a bit of humour (the play in the Dibella's Garden quest... oh my), the courage to tackle dark and "un-pc" stuff like necrophilia, and really touching scenes (the ugly beggar in Dawnstar). Well done!

Falkreath part? Isn't Whiterun and Falkreath the only holds you don't have any quests?
