Hello, just installed the mod but there is no option to speak to innkeeper and ask him for work. Any ideas?
I play male character no DiBella mod installed.

From the description on the mod page :

At this time, and for the foreseeable future, this mod is intended for female player characters only.

Yeah, unfortunately, very little works with male characters at the moment. I have it on my list to at least make basic prostitution work with them, but I don't know if I'm going to get to that any time soon, to say nothing of making any of the quests work well with them.

It would be great if you posted this workaround on the mod main page or - even better - would release a patch for this, should you find the time. It really breaks the immersion of the otherwise superb quest when everything comes to a halt. I found this workaround in the forum section to your mod on page 20 or so. Before that I thought I had done something wrong and searched Morthal for a really long time for an ingame solution.

 

No offense intended though, I really love your mod! It has depth to it, a bit of humour (the play in the Dibella's Garden quest... oh my), the courage to tackle dark and "un-pc" stuff like necrophilia, and really touching scenes (the ugly beggar in Dawnstar). Well done!

 

I understand the frustration with the quest not working. I have thought a little about trying to patch it, but I've already begun work on the next version. The problem is purely a script one, so I probably could fix it without repackaging the whole mod again, but I'd also worry in that case about players leaving it enabled past the point when it's needed and causing other bugs later.

 

I am planning to have another release this month, though, so it shouldn't be a very long time before it's fixed either way.

I was running the Whiterun quests in the brothel. After a few sex parties my toon got stuck in a freezing position unable to move, open inventory. I could only open the main menu. So i decided to reload because i was unable to move the toon.  I experienced same thing during Solitude prostitution quest in that brothel there as well. Same thing happened. Character was stuck with no movement. Anyone with an idea?

Was your character supposed to be doing a SexLab scene when it froze up on you? There's really nothing else I can think of that this mod would do that would cause your character to freeze up.

 

Are you able to access the console and enter this command?

Does your character start moving again if you do? If so, something is disabling player controls.

It was when i started working at the brothel. Set my payment at 150 gold per and was doing maybe 5-6 customers and then after 5 or 6 customer my toon just stopped responding. I was able to run console command.

That sounds like it could be a SexLab problem if the epc command let you start moving again. This mod doesn't disable the player controls when you entertain clients in the brothel, because it doesn't need to. SexLab already does that.

 

I don't think I've had any other reports of that happening.

Hey, little problem i faced.

When i do Morthals license quest, i get to a point where i need to find the father. I get the info that i need to get to Rorikstead but noone wants to talk to me bout that dude there. I knew where his house is cause i found it while exploring. So i went there to find Numeeva. Talked to her, got stuck - can't move, cant enter inventory, nothing - and the father entered the house when argonian lady stopped talking. And nothing happens, I'm stuck and the quest doesnt progress.

I've been trying to figure it out, checked the current package of Numeeva, the father dude keeps following her while she just walks around the house doing chores. My crosshair seems to  be quickly flickering, almost impossible to notice. 

 

I tried using the SetStage command to just get past this stage but couldnt figure it out....

Yeah, there's a minor bug in 0.13 where a dialogue option that should display the next objective doesn't show up, but the quest isn't actually stuck. You should be able to go talk to Mother Hamal and finish the quest.

Thanks! And don't worry, it will be when people stop reporting problems to me that I worry about whether they still like the mod.

 

Having some problems here and there just goes with the territory, and as the mod gets larger it will be easier for more things to escape my notice before I release them.

I'll give it a run through and make sure it's all working for me. I think the dialogue in Rorikstead might be conditioned on the map marker not showing yet, which in hindsight was not a smart idea on my part. It's confused lots of people.

 

I've had a few people say they've seen Intius get stuck, but I've never been able to make it happen myself. It might help to just stand in a different place when you talk to her, but I don't know for sure.

Hello there. First, I've used this mod for quite a while now and love it. Never any problems till now. I'm playing the quest "The Defiler", I'm at the shrine and the guy shows up (I forgot his name) and nothing happens. He worships at the shrine all day and leaves at night. That's all. I'm sitting here. What is supposed to happen? No dialogue except for initiating sex. I'm kind of  stuck.  I'm not sure if I have a mod that's interfering with this one (which might be the case).  Any help here would be much appreciated.

You might. Do you have a mod that changes anything about that shrine? Anything that changes that cell could break how I'm detecting that you've gotten close to the shrine, unfortunately.

I don't know whether this is doable, but is it possible to make a patch to make certain public sex considered as not illegal? Especially for a different sex mod? 
If not, that's totally fine.

I also just tried to check it in SSEdit, but couldnt find anything interfering with the mod.

I bet its an issue with my mod list but its hard to figure it out for sure. I'm going to make a post if i resolve it myself.

 

Just to make sure i have tried moving the mod and the plugin itself around. Didnt fix the issue. Using More Informative Console mod i checked Numeeva's package and it seems like shes using standard Skyrim package instead of The Ancient Profession package? I have a screenshot. On the other hand Initius - or whatever his name was - is running a package from TAP so i think its an issue with the Argonian Lady....

That's expected. 31730 is DefaultSandboxHomeowner, which is one of Numeeva's AI packages.

If you're asking if it's possible for someone to make one, yes. If you're asking if I will, probably not. I'm mostly satisfied with how public sex detection works, so I'm probably not going to make any huge changes to it. Because I'm not likely to change the rules myself in the base mod much, it's probably safe to use a mod to alter the rules.

I'm actually thinking that I might provide a way to do this without needing to make TAP a master for your mod or to otherwise directly reference it. I'm not going to promise that it will be in the next release, but it is possible.

Hey, it's me again. 

I decided to leave Morthals prostitution license for now. I went to Markarth where i got my licence... but i noticed something that might give us a lead to what's causing my issues.

Anyway, so in Morthals case - the problem is that npc don't talk to each other when they should (atleast that;s what i think) and my character being stuck in place.; In Markarths case - when i got the Dibella girl back to the dibella church thingy, both npc's had a package running from the TAP mod but neither of them talked... it looked like they started talking but a dialog appeard on the bottom of my screen for a second and was gone. NPC's would not do anything, the priestess that gave me the quest would open a dialogue with me but the girl that i brought back was walways busy. Either way the situation seemed similar to the Numeeva's case. The main difference was that i was able to move, so when i left the cell and came back in, girls started having fun and when they finished quest progressed.

I'm sorry for my broken english, but i hope u understood what i tried to say.

Anyway, maybe it has something to do with Fus Roh Duh mod, or whatever it was called. - The one that allowed for silent dialogues. It seems to break on me sometimes whenever npc has a longer sentece and it just appears for a second instead for long enough.
