There's a gesture to toggle it too.  Right button up+down.

These should be all gesture controls added to VR patch currently (version 38), adjustments are under 'left button +':

(some of the gestures won't work if you are in victim role, and have selected 'disable victim controls' from SL settings)

right button +

left = previous stage

right = next stage

up = end animation (I'm getting out)

down = swap positions (my turn to get down)

forward = toggle autoadvance

back = swap 1st / 3rd person mode

left-right = previous animation

right-left = next animation

down-up = move the scene location ('pick up' the scene) - you have 7 seconds to walk somewhere, then scene follows

up-down = toggle collision ('free cam' or 'fly cam' mode)

forward-back = disable(/enable) this animation (disable and it won't play again)

back-forward = rotate scene around

left button +

up = adjust schlong

left = align actors for one stage

right = align actors for all stages

while adjusting:

left button only = end adjust mode

right button only = reset adjustments for animation

left trigger (hold down) = grab & adjust actor/schlong (by moving left controller)

right trigger = select next actor to adjust

With SLSO and SLSO patch:

left2 button tap = (toggle) hold back own pleasure

right2 button tap = (toggle) increase own pleasure

right2 button + up = (toggle) increase selected partner pleasure

right2 button + down = (toggle) reduce selected partner pleasure

rith2 button + left = select previous partner

right2 button + right = select next partner

right2 button + back = pause 'game'

right2 button + forward = resume 'game'

Hi, what does the left2 button tap mean? I'm playing with SLSO + patch, but dont know how to activate the left2/right2 gestures

That depends on your configuration and/or headset you are using, you can set it in VRIK or directly in vrikgestures.ini

# Button mappings used by the left and right hands for the first and second gesture buttons
# 0=Disabled, 1=Double Trackpad Tap, 2=Trackpad Press, 3=Double WMR Pad Tap, 4=Thumbstick Press,
# 5=Touchpad Press, 6=X/A/Menu Press, 7=Y/B Press, 8=Trigger Press, 9=Grip Squeeze
buttonRiftLeft1   = 4
buttonRiftLeft2   = 0
buttonRiftRight1  = 4
buttonRiftRight2  = 0
buttonViveLeft1   = 1
buttonViveLeft2   = 0
buttonViveRight1  = 1
buttonViveRight2  = 0
buttonWmrLeft1    = 4
buttonWmrLeft2    = 3
buttonWmrRight1   = 4
buttonWmrRight2   = 3
buttonIndexLeft1  = 5
buttonIndexLeft2  = 4
buttonIndexRight1 = 5
buttonIndexRight2 = 4

Thanks. I have Quest 3, so I just change buttonRiftLeft2 and buttonRiftRight2 from 0 to let's say 8 and all SLSO gestures should work?

Not famililar with the Quest 3, and whether it corresponds to "Rift" in VRIK, but generally yes. When in doubt, just set all models in VRIK to the same values, unless you are constantly switching between headsets 😉.
I'd recommend using a button that is not used for anything else in the game, or you might get some weird interactions...

(For me, I think the trigger will try to draw a weapon...or maybe I disabled it? Been some time sice I last played.)

Thanks! Triggers shouldn't do anything during SL scene, and outside of SL i don't need the secondary gestures for anything else (yet).

Going to do another Skyrim VR playthrough, and wanted to know if the guide in the OP is still up to date since it's from 2019. Does it still only work for that specific version of SL?

Yep. Sadly no one's working on sexlab vr patch since then.

It's fine. Most mods seem to be version independent of SexLab, so they all still work in VR.

This seems to be true but I would recommend caution. You could wipe your game out too. So before you try to use a mod for another version make sure you know what you are doing.

Oh, of course. Anything with a dll or scripts is risky enough in Flatrim, and doubly so in VR. I always double check to make sure someone has gotten a mod working in VR before running it.

Hey,

Been trying to find out how to trigger animations using PLANCK, perhaps by putting NPCs in certain positions using your hands, moving them close to certain furniture, and the like, rather than using the Sexlab Tools menu. Was wondering if anyone knows of any existing mod or bundle of mods for that? And if not: could anyone help me judge how difficult it would be to make a mod for that with the current Sexlab Framework?

Not sure if something like this is what you're after?

I'm having an issue when a scene ends, the VRIK character is stuck in position and bent 90 degrees at the waist. Saving and reloading resets it. Has anyone experienced this? I tried turning off selfie view in VRIK, free cam in SL.

Using VRIK Test Build 28, Sexlab v163 BETA8, SL VRpatch hotfix for v38 - test, SL VRpatch hotfix for v38.

Is the body reversed as well? ie: body twisted? - if so and you have Schlongs of Skyrim installed check it isn't overiding XP Maximum Skeleton special for skeleton.nif .. SOS seems to replace it with a version where your body always seems to inverse itself, so if you enter a Sexlabd scene you'll be facing the wrong way round.

Any height position issues usually need to tweak in VRIK the VRIK Body and disable it for the scene so you let the AI control the direction of the body ..

If it's where you exit a scene where you may be low level height and, when exiting, your head is still at that height then in VRIK check that HMD Body height is enabled and do a re-calibration .. that should put your height (based on your headset) in the right location.

If this is consistent you could try downloading VRIK Actions and enable that .. and disable under the loss of control options the VRIK Posture and VRIK Body .. and while you're at it set the hands to 6 .. which means they will follow the animation rather than where your actual hands are unless you use the trigger button.

I do find upon start up of game and potentially when anything that adds heels or disables them then my body is bent at the knees and top of body slightly leaning forward .. which doing the recalibrate fixes.

I have seen the issue where the body is completely bent at waits 90 degrees which I think may have been when using submissive lola mod although I've also had perfect playthroughs with that mod as well.

Enabling VRIK Actions helped a lot. Entering and exiting scenes has no issues. Occasionally, the body will be reversed in stages of scenes, however. It's not too bad.

That was some brilliant help, thank you!

Not sure if it's a mod conflict or issue on my end, or just something inherent to VR, but facial expressions don't seem to work in VR. I've tried installing expression packs and resetting the expression registry, but still nothing.

Hiya, i followed this guide and get intense spinning on animation start. I installed all the applicable "Fixes" for the spinning but it doesn't work. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

Did you ever resolve this? I have the exact same issue. It is nauseating.

It fixes some of them, but not all. But if they're all doing it, you may have the conflict ordering wrong.

Running into a problem where I take damage during some animations, its killed me a few times. I am guessing this has to do with one of the collision/physics mods like PLANCK or Pseudo Physical Weapon Collision and Parry. Anyone know what might be causing this and how to fix it?

I have Skyrim VR, the mod does not recognize papyrusutility. I installed everything according to the guide, step by step. No errors, crashes to desktop, the game starts and works without a problem. I have other mods installed that are necessary for Sexlab, such as Sexlab loader, animations, etc. Nothing happens when I cast spells on myself and NPCs or just a few NPCs. I don't know if this is the cause but Sexlab does not recognize papyrusutility, it says that I have the wrong version installed, it should be VR 3.6+. And that's exactly what I have, 3.6b for VR. Reinstalling papyrus did not help, all other mods work properly.
