He didn't update the preview image from v.1, I think. Checking his twitter the 2nd image is what he associated with v.1.1.

If that didn't solve your problem and you are editing the dds with Photoshop , delete the alpha channel may work .

and save dds file with this config.


after re-check texture in the bottom part. it fill with white color. Today I try to save dds with new config.


Something has change. like this

my texture have no alpha channel. T-T

Maybe your transparent is not fully transparent . I'm not sure .

Try removing the greyish gradient from the middle right of the texture too, and the greys around the necks of the top. It looks like the file is using the 003 texture to shade them darker.

 

On another note, I'm having difficulty. I'm trying to make the Lila mod that has her without the body-wrap and just the "bare minimums", but every time I try to import the file to the game, it crashes when it has to load Lila. I'm thinking there's an issue with the .dds file I'm using, as some reason it pumps out 13 mipmaps when auto-generating, and when I manually make Mip1 and Mip2, it still generates the other 11 mipmaps...

After looking at the mods here, I was wondering why no one is making mods for the npcs. So, I tried my hand at making one (shorten the skirt) and figured out the answer. The npcs dont have a nude body. Under the skirt, its an empty place -_-

ahhh yes, congrats, I totally forgot that there may have a inner layer you have to removed as well. I encounter that prob in embrace costume as well. Well, have fun! now you can make your dream short wwwwww

for the lines, it may be some inner shadow of other parts as well, you have to test by making different area in the texture invisible to find out. It may take some times, try in big area first, and get it down by half to see if that problem solved. To me, it looks like the original part is still showing the shadow or may have some part that is not cut clear enough. try cut more in the edge to see if these lines disappear. Otherwise, Try modify the other dds files as well (the normal and the black and white one to see if you can remove it)

Lastly, missing model is the same in all costume, so either you have to do the model work, or you have to get along with it

Keep trying. The moment you get rid of it you will be extremely happy XD 

Recommend saving those area onto different layer and just make them invisible instead of deleting them.

So you can revert them back later on or group them with the same part.

I decided to try my hand at texture editing, was a fun morning.  Only very simple edits here, since it's a first attempt.  I just added as much cleavage as I think is manageable to the summer outfit.  I also relabeled Ryza's little bottle on her hip for fun.  I'm using this as a replacer for both the summer outfit and her normal outfit, so it'll show up on the main menu.

 

In case anyone had as much of a problem as I did getting mods to work initially, after you've unpacked the PACK00_02.PAK file, removed it from the data folder, and moved your unarchived files into the proper place (Data > x64 > character), do the folowing. If you want to replace the summer outfit, you can just use the file as attached, putting itin the pc00h folder.  If you want to use it as a replacer for the normal outfit, replace the 'h' with an 'a' in the filename and put them in the pc00a folder instead.

none of these have been released by their creators. YXS i think is waiting to improve the first two with model editing when they can figure out that.
moderchan made the completely naked one. they said that they dont want to release the mod right now because the game is still new. weird reason but whatever.
