Verasmile2 Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 I have noticed that for some reasons, Curie isn't "recognized" from AAF FPE. I mean, she can get pregnant, but the name doesn't displays on the messages from the mod. Cait instead, even as A2, keeps showing the name in the messages. What could be the issue in here? I know is a minor thing, but I'd like to try and fix it anyway.
ShivasBane Posted April 16, 2022 Posted April 16, 2022 They look great in game. I'm using the non replacer version because I already have mods which cover those ladies. I have been able to make settlers from them using this mod Portable Cloning Device at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) and they work as normal settlers but being able to dismiss the original followers from your mod to a settlement would be the icing on the cake. There are places in the game where too many followers can make for a very hard time. If you could make this possible that would be awesome but if not then cie la vie. Great work and thanks.

valcon767 Posted May 11, 2024 Posted May 11, 2024 (edited) edit did this after Curie had her synth body end edit i ran into the not nude during AAF body issue (Curie replacer) and found a way to fix it without using Outfit Studio. 1 - install mod and choose nude option (i installed the bodyslide files) 2 - ran bodyslide (and made sure to not build the nevernude parts) 3 - used BAE to extract the 2BFollower Main.BA2 from the mod where i just installed it (Model 2 Type B or Attacker Number 2 FollowerReplacer) 4 - copied the extracted files to the mod (2 folders - materials and meshes) opening the mod at the main level i have 4 folders (data, materials, meshes, tools) plus the esp files and the 2 .ba2 files 5 - used 7z to copy the nude body nif from the archive (data\options\nude\Femalebody.nif) to 2 locations in the mod (Model 2 Type B or Attacker Number 2 FollowerReplacer) 1 - data\meshes\yorha2b\Femalebody.nif 2 - meshes\yorha2b\Femalebody.nif played game and now she has her correct nude body during AAF scenes hope if someone else plays the mod and runs into the same issue that this will solve it for them also. really do like the mod overall Edited May 11, 2024 by valcon767
gim200 Posted May 20, 2024 Posted May 20, 2024 Thanks for the good mod. If possible, it would be okay to add a replacer option that changes the voice of companion to a 2B tone as a future update. Currently Curie's voice was also looking for something to match this, only for Curie's Japanese version (a little high toned) to exist. On the other hand, the fact that Ada's 2B voice mod exists baffles me.

The same has happened with Senator Blutarsky's mods, and he has been able to correct these problems; It is my humble request, if you are somewhere in a summer place, that you can correct these inconveniences. Perhaps I would also ask you to add the possibility of dismissing your adorable robots, even by sending them to a fixed location, without assigning them to any settlement; If you could send them to any of settlements, then I wouldn't ask for more from life. Thank you very much for creating such a beautiful mod; I leave you below an image of the problem with the girls' textures. A big hug. PS: and, I remember that cannot choose only 2B as companion because that gives me an error; it is related to an issue with 2BFollower_Basic archive (that I can find, but curoiously not the mod). I have this issue as well, Everything is fine except for their faces. Their faces looks like an old wrinkled lady XD. The vortex mod manager also says an error for 2BFollower_Basic.esp and that it doesn't match.

I go to my first meeting with piper and she invisible until conversation starts with her, then when she appears, her face is completely wrong and her hair is going through the world, though oddly the clothes work fine. Really disappointing. There's no other Nier follower mods for Fallout 4, so I have to hope this gets fixed someday, or figure out how to fix it myself.

I did what you said and tested the Curie one by waiting until her synth body, but nothing happened. I disabled then enabled her, and all it did was spawn in the 2B outfit. I am on the next gen update, by the way.

I am on the next gen update, by the way. hmm might be a next gen thing then as this was made on old gen and i am on old gen still. something you can try (and it might work or not i have no clue) is to 1 - play game with the mod not installed at all (if using MO2 do not activate it in left pane) until after Curie has her synth body (then make a hard save) 2 - install and activate the mod 3 - check Curie and if she has the clothes but not the looks you can try resurrecting her by open console, select Curie, disable, resurrect, then enable (can try resurrect again after enable if she still does not look right) if that does not work i am out of ideas and would suspect it is an issue due to being on next gen but cannot confirm.

Ran into the same problem so I'll post the fix that worked for me. X-cell was the culprit, with how it handles facegen. If you go into the ini, look for the line: facegen=true and set it to: facegen=false Hope this helps. Edited December 8, 2024 by lobsterb

I have the same problem and I modified my X file with "FaceGen: False"

I tried everything to try and fix this but nothing is working and i was hoping if you guys had any insight that could help. i read through the thread and haven't found one solution. it says the setting INI file has 2brace listed but i dont know if this is the correct one or what. i dont know if it's a issue with the bodymesh not being compatible or if it's not reading the high heels text file if anyone knows a solution that would be fantastic. i'm losing it.
