I dunno, but you've messed it up somewhere...

1. Did you read and follow the install guide, and download/install the mandatory Core Mod files?

Yes, as long as you don't use the Romance channel replacer version of this mod...

Your channel replacement options are: Action, Comedy, News, Sports or Fireplace.

Just follow the provided Install Guide.

Thanks for all of the work you do with Cinerotique, it's greatly appreciated.

 

I've noticed that in my games the flirty moodlet doesn't actually act like it's a +4 strength, it acts like a +1. If my sim has a +1 confident moodlet, for example, and I have her watch either of the two channels, the +4 strength flirty moodlet appears but it stays behind my sim's current mood and doesn't override the weaker one. (I can't recall if it ever did behave that way, unfortunately.) Can you tell me if that's by design (or a game limitation of some kind) or if something else is going on on my end? Thanks in advance.

It certainly sounds like a bug on my end ... but I'll have to look further into it. Thanks for the report. ?

 

Edit 1: Bug confirmed. Will issue a hotfix when I'm done testing it. - but no worries in the meantime, as this is a very minor issue, it does not affect gameplay in any meaningful ways. ?

 

Edit 2: Issue is now fixed in release version 4.2.4

Yes, it's on Patreon Early access at the moment, but it will come to LoversLab too eventually (just like RAW did).

• If you've meant "is it possible to watch them ingame without replacing a tv channel", then the answer is no, it's not possible.
• If you've meant that you'd like to watch the full videos outside of the game, then yes, they're all available as downloadable 1080p mp4s on my patreon as an extra perk for the "Collector" tier or above.

RAW is a channel of short clips and Cinerotique is a full TV channel.

I'm not sure what you mean by "difference", RAW and CINEROTIQUE are two separate channels on the tv. you can install either one or the other, or BOTH.

Both CE and RAW has its own playlist and videos. All downloaded videos will play on their respective channels only.

hi, i updated the mod, and installed well. but some time when i select the 2 channel the tv go on wheater channel. on reloading the game all work again. what the problm? i replaced the News and Romanti channel

this mod should have no overlap/conflict with the weather channel, so it's really hard to tell what your problem might be.

• do you have any other tv mods installed?
• to try to isolate the problem, maybe try removing all other mods except cinerotique (just move them into another folder on your hdd), restart sims, then start a new game and see if the problem still persist.
