Clams of Skyrim (COSIHD) - Bodyslide Collection

I have a request. Mainly the Glass armor. It does have a problem though. The outfit comes in four pieces.

The above is the bodyslide for the armor but I don't think the person converted it correctly. The bottom piece, around the waist, will go invisible if it is worn with the other pieces of the outfit. The advantage of this armor is has a missing portion is just the right spot for the Schlong to be visable/revealed and not clip through the armor.

This is one I have had my eye on for a while. I don't know of any bodyslide done for it as of yet.

@Stryker1177 and @Spyro84  Thanks for the suggestions.  I agree, these would be good additions.  I'm currently on holiday in the Caymans (don't have my modding rig), but will be back in the Status on Tuesday.  This will take some time.  In the meantime, I'll reach out to these authors for permissions.

I'll throw in ''couple'' of outfits that seem pretty neat! ;)

Miss Fortune clothes. Mod includes some ''damaged'' versions of the outfit as well. Quality pirate garb overall.

Katarina outfit (also from LoL).

Edit:

It would be nice to convert parasites for SexLab Parasites mod. Just like you did with the Sisterhood of Dibella. I think there are only 3-4 things to convert to Cosio. Living armor, tentacle parasite, barnacles and a facehugger.

Alternatively, you can convert tentacle parasite armor itself.

I have secured the necessary permissions for the DX Celes Rouge set and will get it posted shortly.  Thanks for the suggestion!

Done and uploaded to the main files section.  See notes on SOS compatibility.  I had an interesting bit of trouble with this outfit.  It's ripped and torn in various places, which is a great aesthetic but a pain in the butt work out clipping issues.  The skirt is designed to be worn over the panty and leggings, along with the belt.  The way the original outfit was built, this is layered with 4 different meshes:  body in the cuirass, panty/leggings, skit, and belt.  I believe I have mitigated the clipping and gotten it all working well with a "normal" shaped body (extreme hentai style body shapes will have trouble).  Your mileage may vary depending on the bodyslide present used.

Enjoy!

Great work! Conversions work fine even with some relatively extreme body proportions. Here are some requests from Nexus. I know its a lot, but I'm not sure if these modders are still active in order to give you permissions. (Some of them are bound to be active!)

What happens if I use non cosio bodyslide armor files with cosio?

edit: someone in this thread mentioned dint's horizon zero dawn outfit, its not patreon only anymore https://drive.google.com/file/d/198JNaVR14Bf5YzmMnngkDd3-yGJO7QW_/view

Nothing terrible and certainly not any crashes.  Using a non-cosio converted Armor will make that/those outfits appear as CBBE, in the case of what you linked.  Some of the enhanced body sliders that Cosio supports, that CBBE does not, will not be present - and so the shape will differ slightly.  As you linked an HDT compatible armor, it should bounce/jiggle without issues though - so it really comes down to personal preference.

So, im not sure what's happening, but when I have the bijin stuff installed, the cosio just shows white like it's being overwritten by bijin. More specifically the area around and in the vagina. When I disabled bijin, it shows the body fine. any advice?

This is actually completely normal, unfortunately. The bodyslide conversion does not come with custom textures, which means the interior of the vagina will be white, signaling that there are no textures, since the original Bijin textures are not outfitted for the Cosio Body. You have two options to solve this;

The first option is to download one of the CosioHD texture packs and overwrite the Bijin texture packs with the former. This does work, but it changes the appearance of the Bijin NPCs from their original appearance. Personally, I very much like the Bijin textures as is, so I avoid this method.

The second option is to alter the Bijin textures by manually adding the interior vagina texture. This sounds like a serious pain in the ass, but once you get the hang of it, it's extremely easy to do so. There are many guides to assist you on how to manually add vagina textures, but I'll lay down the essentials to do so for you.

First thing's first, you're going to need to download GIMP so you can edit the textures. Unfortunately, GIMP does not come with the option to edit .dds files, which is what Skyrim uses, but thankfully there is a patch to add the functionality. Paint.net also works with .dds files, but I've heard that it contains malware, so I would recommend using GIMP instead.

Once you have GIMP installed, you'll need an interior vagina texture to begin placing onto your Bijin textures. You can find this from multiple sources, including the resource pack from the original Clams of Skyrim mod.

With the Clams of Skyrim vagina textures in hand, you'll need to do just a couple things. First, make sure you know what resolution the textures are that you are editing, and resize them accordingly. From my experience with Bijin and the Cosio vagina texture, all you'll really need to do is downsize the vagina texture to 2k, which doesn't impact it all that much, considering how small it is.

Secondly, you'll need to understand that there are two files you are editing. The .dds and the msn.dds. The regular .dds simply contains the textures, so it'll look normal. The msn.dds file appears all rainbow colored and such. Make sure you add these textures to their proper locations. The Cosio resource pack comes with all of these, so you shouldn't have to worry too much.

Now comes the easy part. You'll need to utilize TESVEdit in order to find the specific file that the Bijin NPC's are using. Simply expand on the Bijin .esp (I recommend using BijinAiO for this, makes things much easier) and open the texture set. You'll be looking at the torso files only for each NPC.

Creating the texture is easier than it sounds. Simply open the vagina texture, click "select all", then "copy". Then, without closing GIMP, open the texture you wish to edit. Once it is open, simply click "paste". That is literally it.

Once that's over with, you'll need to save the file. Name the file according to what it originally what, for example, the normal map should be named something like femalebody_1, after which you put whatever the hell you want. You will need to do the same for the msn files (femalebody_1_msn.dds), which are the rainbow colored ones. Make sure you match the textures accordingly!

Once you have the textures in your possession, all you have to do is go back to TESVEdit and manually change the textures by simply adding the textures to the folder they would normally belong to, and changing the name in TESVEdit to the name you have created. For example, the original femalebody_1.dds should be deleted and replaced with the new, custom texture, which you can name "femalebody_1," then whatever you want after the comma. Then, change the file name in TESVEdit to the one you replaced. It would normally appear as actors/character/BijinNPCs/femalebody_1.dds . All you need to do is change the name of the highlighted portion. Do not change anything else.

Certain NPCs have different textures, so you'll likely be creating multiple sets.

I hope I was of some assistance. If you found my guide unsatisfactory, here is a much more detailed guide on how to go about doing this.

Huge thanks to the above author and AWP3RATOR for helping me go about editing the textures!

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I would like to provide some recommendations on bodyslide conversions. I'm a huge fan of your Bijin conversions, and I've found them to work perfectly. However, there are two more NPCs the author of Bijin has made that I am also a big fan of; Vivace and Tocatta.

I'll provide links to both below.

Vivace - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68976/?

Tocatta - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61140/

I also would recommend the Minerva follower - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/74256

Considering you've already converted all Bijin NPCs, this shouldn't be too much of an issue. However, I am not one to assume, and because of this I will leave it to your decision on whether or not you'd like to convert them. But I would definitely love it, lol.

Thank you.

i'd like to chime in to thank you for making this conversion thread, and such amazing conversions to go with it. we really need vanillar armors to cosio, or atleast dresses. my db has a preset that only works with cosio. it's wider than the same used with cbbe, and doesnt look the same. also, if you'd consider a conversion of the Tribal clothe set i'd appreciate it. i've tried it before and got it ingame, but i dont think it has proper hdt when i convert. i'm not familiar with weight painting at all.

What guide were you following to do these conversions when you learned this stuff? Got a link to it?

edit:
Nevermind, turns out it's actually not that bad.. I do have a problem though.

Part of the outfit I am trying to convert gets masked due to some Unweighted Vertices, so there's a literal open square cut out of the front of it (Because the outfit has some ridiculously low-poly parts).

How do I weigh vertices with the Outfit Studio? And how do I even find out WHICH vertices need to be weighed?

edit x2:
I found out. I am a genious.

Hi. I definitely have some trouble with Dynamic Clothing System. I downloaded original mod, Bodyslide files, make a Butch Bild and a lot of clothes are not working. Not all, but some. Some sit perfectly, come not attached to the body, and some make characters body part missing. And one and the same part may look differently. And in outfit studio they are ok. What have i done wrong and how to fix it?  Thank you.

First of all, thanks a lot for this fabulous collection (especially the North Girl).

I'm still struggling to understand how BodySlide works... So far I've noticed, that when I choose any of the North Girl outfit pieces, I see only them in the preview, but not the body.

Anyway, I did hit the Build button after choosing each of these pieces individually to fit them to the body preset I'm using (Cosio). And they fit like a glove to my character's gorgeous body. Only there's this weird thing happening - she cannot wear the sweater with the vest and the trousers at the same time. It's either the sweater, or the vest + trousers combination.

Any idea what might be the reason for that?
