When I started out lurking on this forum, it was the first time I came across the phenomenon of glossy skin. As a life-long lover of Kung Fu-flicks and Ninja stuff, I had always been fascinated by the concept of fighters effortlessly bending physical laws. Running on water, weightless jumping, suspension of actio et reactio when blocking attacks... Many tropes in fiction stem from this core concept.

 

By making Linna and in extension all members of the 'New Black Hand' capable of such superhuman/superelvish feats, countless entertaining and intriguing situations can be created, paving a pathway to exciting over-the top action instead of rather boring traditional combat.

 

It's interesting to observe Linna mostly just dodged the guy's attacks to show him his hopeless inferiority in battle and the futility of his attacks. A means of humiliating, frustrating and enraging her opponent, especially in combination with her neverending taunts and insults.

You know, I remember you said that fight scenes were more difficult to set up, because of your lack of experience with them compared to other scenes and because of being limited by the available poses. Now I don't have an eye for these things like you do, so I may just blabber nonsense but considering the things mentioned above I personally can already see quite an improvement compared to your first page with fight scenes. And that only a few pages back. Especially, they're feeling more dynamic to me compared to before.

I concur. There's also the simple beauty of how this kind of fighting looks. These things are also why I love the exaggerated but oh so well choreographed weapon play in movies like 'The Legend of the Shadowless Sword', 'house of Flying Daggers' and the like.

These movies also show simply beautiful scenery, which is another thing I love.

That's so very true. Other movies in this vein are for example the one starring both living legends of martial arts, Jet Li and Jackie Chan, 'Forbidden Kingdom'. Its incredible intro sequence is an homage to vintage posters of Kung-Fu and Wuxia flicks, very creatively done.

 

Some other movies like this that I love are Ryuhei Kitamura's 'Versus' or the one starring my favourite female Eastern actress Michelle Yeoh, 'Reign of Assassins'. And then there are the movies by Tsui Hark, like 'Zu - Warriors from the Magic Mountain' or 'The Swordsman'.

Very good in regards to the action and creative ideas is the Manga adaptation 'Dororo', the eponymous female lead is also very cute, same goes for the 'Azumi' movies. I even own the PS2 'Dororo' game 'Blood Will Tell'. Never played it much though .

 

The list goes on and on, there was a time when I was watching three or four of such movies per day...

Greetings!

Once more unforeseen circumstances kept me from finishing the latest page in time. But finally it's done, I'm happy to present it now and here.

 

Since the combat is over, the layout is back to normal with nice rectangular shapes. In this episode we even learn the name of the so suddenly deceased thug #1 (as if it mattered), and his weapon plays a major role throughout the whole page. Linna's plan is coming together at last, this is a turning point in the story as there will be a change on several levels for the following pages. I'm looking forward to making them.

But they will have to be hosted on ImageVenue again, "Click the thumbnail blah blah yadda".

Hi there!

Here I am brutally bumping this thread with a sort of small comic I made as an introduction for a character I recently created when I was trying out a nice new region expansion mod, more precisely a certain gameplay element included in it.

 

Meet 'Ylvenia', a hot-blooded Nord woman full of carnal desires. Living on the freezing cold island of Solstheim, she is well known to invite lucky guys for entertaining sessions full of savage passions. The only odd thing about it is the fact these fellows won't be seen again afterwards.

Maybe they are just running off, most ashamed of the lewd things they did with this girl, or she simply persuades them to move away and try their luck in one of the big cities in Skyrim or Cyrodiil. Only the Gods might know (and they apparently don't care).

 

Another interesting thing about her: Ylvenia seems to always stay at home after dark. She's probably just afraid of robbers or even rapists.

After having to worry about technical trouble last weekend, I'm back on track now and finally able to post a new page of sequential sexyness.

 

Finding a good pose mod for this part of the story was the main challenge. Luckily I found that file I had lying around in my collection for a long time, a conversion of Fallout poses in the particular style I needed. But about half of its poses are simply non-functional, and the other half that is working has only a limited few that can be used for the depicted situation. Nevertheless, I still prefer this over the usual shackles and stocks.

 

Some time has passed since last episode. Linna got busy with her preparations to make this a truly memorable evening (in case you get to keep your memories in the afterlife). Reddish candles for a comfy atmosphere, slight modifications to her customer's wardrobe... This looks like a promising event. I didn't bother with censor bars and such foolery because frankly... I don't care anymore. It should be clear by now that this is adult entertainment. That's why I prefer to write a disclaimer instead of tainting the pages with those ugly black bars.
