Poontank, I experienced dificulties when try to cast pose to npcs. everytime i cast on them the spells just like an aggresive spell which makes the dodge or sometimes I got arrested when casting poses to guards. i used deadly reflex 5 anyway. how to solve it? thanks

Not being able to use poses sounds like a rather difficult one to solve. My first thought naturally would be to deactivate any mods that interfere with animations, 'Deadly Reflex' in this case, and test if the glitch persists. Sure, I've had strange effects with poses before. But NPCs taking a neutral spell for an attack is weird, something I didn't encounter before.

 

Since I'm playing mostly for the picture-making, I haven't many fancy mods like DR installed, such gameplay and settings-tweaking mods are of little interest to me. My priorities lie in everything visual, new locations and nice races. And pose mods, logically. Whenever I read comments complaining about pose mods not working I wondered what could have gone wrong, because normally almost every pose mod I ever tried did work. There were a few exceptions, in most cases I got the mods in question running after some fumbling around.

 

But like I said, I never ran into something like the glitch you are having in your game, Chivaleroncross. Your best bet will be to deactivate suspicious mods (those that either change gameplay mechanisms and/or animations) one by one and test every time if the glitch stops happening. The only way to find out the cause for this apparent conflict.

 

Did pose mods work before? It might be something you recently installed if NPCs start behaving like that all of a sudden. Sorry if I'm unable to help you more with that. Maybe if you can't find the offending mod(s) easily, it might be worth opening a thread dedicated to this problem, perhaps other people have had this effect in their game before and found an easy solution.

Chivaleroncross, I totally forgot about another factor - load order! Maybe it's enough to place the pose mod(s) you want to use lower in your load order. Perhaps they conflict with mod(s) that should be above them. I have all my pose mods in the middle of my load order, right between region and landscape expansions ('Unique Landscapes') and race mods.

Bumping time is here!

Here is a small assortment of pictures from a large-scale mod I'm overhauling. A real long-term project, given the size of the mod and the many possibilities it offers. For now I've edited a lot of the characters already present; I also added a few new ones. And I exchanged some posters.

 

The most interesting thing about these characters - I have sculpted all of these faces directly in the CS! Sure, they started with face imports (which NPC doesn't?), but the most of the character work was done using the Construction Set's own facegen. For a long time I was sceptical of using this method of character creation, but it does work indeed, even better than expected.

 

"What Mod Is This?" It's a very special mod that adds a unique environment to the game. For ages I had been ignoring this gem.

When I finally installed it, its potential blew me away. The potential for (porn) screenshots first and foremost, with a few fantastic locations in a particular style. But this can be so much more! PT, your doses of visual humour are some the few things that make me burst out laughing (which usually guarantees plenty of room on the bus). Don't worry, Chivaleroncross, I'm not one to be offended easily. In fact, using this word - a play on the sleazy expression 'Poontang' - as my designated 'porn alias' is exactly in the vein as you suggested, a word that contains enough campiness to do the spirit of my comics justice.

 

Well, it's true. I've noticed this 'anniversary' of sorts a while back but didn't want to make a big fuss about it. Should at least have thanked everybody who has ever visited this thread for checking out my work! I've said it before: Originally the comic was created just as a pastime to amuse myself, to make nice fapping material and whatnot. But making stories for actual readers is a whole different thing. It's really inspiring, challenging, motivating and exciting. Gives me a goal - entertaining others with these stories as well, as much as they entertain myself.

 

One thing I can promise for sure is I will never cease striving to improve the overall quality of my work.

And I'll certainly keep on searching for more wild concepts to spice up this whole comic shebang with some new ideas and elements.

 

Here is the new page of the current story. Yes, it's unfortunate - nothing but a Photoshop edit. I sure wish such a cum effect (or an even better one, maybe with particles?) was part of the 'Lovers' system... Normally I try to use only the assets of the game itself when making pictures, as I think pasting in effects outright not possible in the game looks displaced and unnatural. In my opinion, Oblivion in combination with the right mods offers enough possibilities to create nice and spectacular visual effects without having to fall back on half-assed Photoshop fakery - except for things like cumshots .

 

A good example would be this picture of my new character 'Mitzy' with her raw arcane uber-powers:

The skull is a vessel for the consciousness of her former mentor/master/teacher. As long as she is holding it, he is sharing his arcane knowledge with her, thus enabling his young apprentice to use magic like the one above. Of course she also whacks meanies with the skull...

 

And also of course the blast is just a 'Will-O-The-Wisp'. Still looks like the typical Anime 'concentrating energies before the blast' effect.

 

It's great fun to recreate favourite characters from comic books or other games. As long as there are resources, a little tweaking can make any well-known outfit look completely different. Making modified stuff to assemble such iconic characters is also a great modding exercise.

 

Hopefully I'll find some other memorable characters (and the right meshes for that) to bring over to Oblivion in the future.

Yes, well... Those costumed guys are very tempting to recreate, especially Deadpool. One of my favourite Marvel characters ever.

Also of interest: Venom/Lady Venom! I've once seen screenshots of either a Black Spider-Woman or some attempt at a Lady Venom costume. The head area/mask is the main problem, the suit is not that difficult to make. At the moment I'm - among other things, naturally - working on the recreation of a rather unknown cult game character (a female version more precisely) and of a certain TV show character (no, NOT 'Sylar'! Been there, done that before ).

 

'The Punisher' could serve as a quirky and completely unexpected 'Deus Ex Machina' character. Or he'll get at least a joke cameo appearance.

 

The new comic page was a rather challenging one... I wanted to make the 'final portrait' of the Dunmer as nice as possible. A real mugshot.

'Jizzy Mess', the aftermath shot - a staple of cumshot-oriented adult entertainment. Amply-frosted porn tarts swallowing, wallowing in sticky blobs belong to porn just as much as juicy peens dripping with cum. In this scene below Linna is glazed over for an extended period of time, slightly more stuff than last week's admittedly rather tame cumshot.
