That's actually what I'm currently working on. I mentioned it a few posts up. I didn't have time to do much this week. But might be able to pick up the pace again soon enough!

With Discover University out I've put together a cheerleader squad. Here's some others I want to get out. Black girl in the center in the first pic isn't new, and is a somewhat updated version of a sim I've uploaded before. The two on her side though are ones I've made more recently and been working on every now and then in past couple of months. The sims in the two other pictures are new as well, also made and essentially completed for Discover University (girl in the last picture is one I started on along while ago that went in the WIP bin and I only really finished her now). Alot of stuf I've done recently has been done with that in mind

They're currently somewhat postponed in favor of the Maxis sim makeovers I'm doing.

 

I also have to apologize for a seeming lack of progress recently I've not had much time for games, and this week my old gaming computer broke down. Luckily I had recently backed up most of my stuff so I didn't really lose anything (since I didn't do much recently) and I'm moving it over to a new computer I've got coming.

Glad you're back up, running and doing well. I started remaking my world as well, and I look forward to incorporating more of your sims. I've really fallen in love with your style and the whole girls next door vibe they give off. (Thalia Jordan's resemblance to someone I know is uncanny on a fascinating level)

 

P.S. Congratz on the new rig! With all the mods and content for the sims even just running on a SSD makes a world of difference.

Pleasant Family

 

Here is my rework of Sims 2 Pleasantview's Pleasant family. Consisting of Daniel and Mary-Sue and their twin daughters Angela and Lilith. On first glance the Pleasant family appear to be the stereotypical "perfect" upper-middle-class family looking a bit closer though the family is dysfunctional. Daniel Pleasant is non-committal from having an affair with the family's maid in Sims 2, Mary-Sue is ambitious and hard-working but has uncontrolled emotions, and while Angela has good grades and is generally good-natured her often neglected twin-sister Lilith is rebellious and is failing school along with nearly all her character values being terrible. 

 

 

I took some liberties with their appearances, going by their Sims 2 appearances alone doesn't really yield good results so I mostly just used that as a guideline. One thing I've changed is that Angela and Lilith no longer have green eyes, but brown as that's both more likely and I liked how it looked better than green (others of course are welcome to change this), in general they resemble both their parents little bit more than their Sims 2 counterparts as those actually seem to have had no traits in common with Mary-Sue at all. You could make the argument that maybe they weren't really Mary-Sue's kids, but I chose to disregard that and instead generate them off both parents. 

 

    

 

NOTE: I've also got the Burbs done. They aren't as detailed as these are, but I'll upload them as well. Probably as an optional addition to the Pleasant family. I'm also no longer using winrar on my new PC, so you probably need to get 7zip if you didn't have it already to extract this family. 

 

Update 7/9/2020: Lilith now has the Insecure custom trait by Kuttoe. It's noted and linked below. You'll have to download this separately, as sticking this in with the download risks including outdated versions. The updated tray files are found in the Pleasant+Burb archive, which I've reuploaded.

They don't look much alike but that was true in the old games as well and I preserved that, though she is based on Daniel's genetics just edited to more closely resemble her Sims 2 counterpart. There's not much CC at play here and I decided to not bother with the outfit lookbooks, you'll have to download them and see for yourself (it's only 1 outfit per category). They're set up with traits, education and skills. 

 

The archive includes a combined Pleasant and Burb family, so the family relations are preserved. So simply put you need the CC for the Pleasant Family in order to make use of the Burbs.

NPC Maid Sims

 

Related to that world save I'm setting up, I want to populate the world with some NPC sims at the start (and keep adding more later), so here's the first of these that I put together, it's sort of like the Basemental cop sims I uplaoded before. 

 

They're set up with the NPC maid trait and career and if you plop them into your world and evict them (and don't play them) they will show up as maids when you order the service (at least if there aren't already too many NPC maids in the game so those are chosen first). 

 

        

 

I gave them the names of the NPC maids from Sims 2's Pleasantview neighborhood and based their personality and skills loosely on those as well, incidentally all of them have the Speed Cleaner trait, making them pretty good at their jobs. Left to right they are Remington Harris, Kaylynn Langerak and Lucy Hanby. Like I'm probably going to do with most or all of the NPC sims that make and upload going forwards, all of these are actually just me taking unused and/or unfinished sims in my library and repurposing them to fill these NPC roles, and often taking the name and general personality of a Pleasantview NPC, beacuse why not. 

 

Not much more to say. NO lookbooks for this one, though they do have outfits and use CC, so see that below. Also note that the outfits you see above will not be their work outfits in the game, but I did save those outfits to their second formal outfits and it should be possible to use MCCC to copy and paste that outfit onto their work outfit.

NPC Drug Dealers

 

 

But wait! There's more! More NPC sims! These are set up as NPC drug dealers for Basemental Drugs. They've been assigned the NPC drug dealing role so all you need to do is drop them into your world, let them remain unplayed and they should do just. Might be a good idea to evict them as well. If you want to play them I've also set them up with skills and traits like my other sims, they've got bad traits from Parenthood and drug dealing skills, so they're good to go for that as well. 

 

      

 

Left to right they are Tessa Vargas, Frank Rodgers and Jermaine Williams. Tessa I just made and completed today based on an idea for a sim I had (and to be honest she's sort of rocking a simialr style as Linnie is) and since I wanted her as an NPC I didn't feel the need for as many outfits. The other two are older sims of mine repurposed for and brushed up a little, Frank is a failed (in my opinion) attempt at makign the character Frank Bowers from Life is Strange, it still turned out a decent sim though, so I let him keep the first name and affinity for dogs. 

 

Hope you have fun with them and that someone will appreciate having these premade NPCs! 

 

NOTE: Tessa's arm tattoo is from Basemental Gangs and needs that to show up.

Hi, i've downloaded the npc maids and it lacks the maid dress in the 2nd formal outfit, at least i guess so.. i've found it on TSR, but i thought that u needed to know (supposing that i am right about that) ? Btw glad that you're back in action, it's useless to say that your content is very very brilliant and wonderful and i love it so much.. thx !

NPC Cocaine Companions for Basemental Drugs on the horizon? ?

Hey long time fan of your work. I have a question of this world save you've been talking about.

 

Will it include your non-maxis Sims such as Jason, the models, the college girls, etc with established relations?

 

I did this myself, even made a dorm and social group for the cheer-leaders, and it'd be cool to not have to set everything up again every time I want to start over since I play with aging turned on.

 

Honestly it'd be neat seeing all your college sims in dorms(Since for some reason EA made that dumb restriction) and assuming you use the wicked mods, the stripper characters actually being strippers for pre-made clubs in world.

 

Regardless of your answer keep up the good work. You're one of my favorite simmers and I love having all of your sims in my worlds.

@TriggerBlade The answer is yes, but not in the initial release. It takes a while to set up and I want to make sure that I've made everything I use available and that I am placing updated versions of my sims in the world save. People have been asking me to do this for a while, and then I started making some more Maxis sim makeovers and I kind of got the idea that finishing up a batch of them and setting them up in a save would be a good starting point, especially since they've (at least the Sims 2 ones) all got pretty interesting stories and established relationships. Of course I'm changing some of the precise details of all of them, but I am using it as my point of inspiration. 

 

Here's kind of my idea for a roadmap.

First release is going to consist of Maxis sim makeovers (mostly the Sims 2 Pleasantview sims and a couple of Sims 3/Sims 4 families as well), in Oasis Springs. Left to complete and upload here are the Broke, Landgraab, Dreamer and Alto families. I also need to set up their houses (got a bunch done already), but I won't upload those separately, I'll include the build CC in the download I set up for the world save (probably a new download file separate from this collection). I'll also probably sprinkle with a couple more groups of NPC sims (especially as that's proving to be a good way to find a use for my uncompleted and unused sims). 

 

Further releases are probably going to be smaller (in terms of number of sims and households) and will in all likelihood mostly consist of adding my own sims into the world bit by bit as I update (and reupload) them and set them up in the world. The order I do it in will probably be on a neighborhood and thematic basis. I'm going to be bulldozing most lots outside of Oasis Springs and Del Sol Valley I think, because I kind of picture it that Oasis Springs is the suburb to Del Sol's downtown area. So there's probably not gonna be too many diffrent types of community lots in Oasis Springs. At some point I'll begin placing stuff back into Willow Creek (I've typically had Jason's and Thalia's families living there for example, and I might continue with that) and Britechester when I get to my college sims. 

 

Most likely the first additions after the initial release will be my strip club sims (I place the strip club at the gym lot in Oasis Springs), which also ties into adding Linnie and Cara and their family, then I imagine the AEP sims (which includes Thalia, Alexis and Tracy) are gonna be pretty soon after that and Jason and sims associated with him, because his place is in Del Sol Valley. And yeah, probably sprinkled all the while with groups of NPC sim to further flesh things out.

No problem and it sounds awesome! I love all these interconnected back stories and can't wait to see them as intended! Instead of my assumed set ups I finagle with Command Center lol
