Just a general question for everyone here; are most people downgrading to 1.5.97 (i.e. pre AE) or are you all able to use the bulk of these mods with the latest version easily enough?

I can only speak for myself when I say that I usally use the latest version of Skyrim, but I probably also have a relatively small load order compared to others. You could check the SE Compatibility Tracking thread to see which mods are working with the latest version and perhaps base your decision on that, but I'm pretty sure most mods either have a patch or an alternative available if they weren't updated since the AE update.

I've stayed with 1.5.97 (just did a fresh install on a new device and rolled back) and turned off read/write access for updates. That way I don't have to spend any brain bandwidth on caring about updates.

 

If a new mod is only available for the latest AE version or whatever, that's fine with me. Some mods are only available on LE as well, and I don't use those. Eventually someone may figure out a port to 1.5.97, but if not I have plenty of good stuff available.

Oh, I just saw your thread like yesterday about getting these mods to work on the steam deck. Did you end up getting it to work in the end?

SexLab Privacy SE includes one file from an ancient 2016 LE version of SexLab.  The flle is a script with a one line change to search for beds at greater distances.  Using an ancient version of one of SexLab's core files is a really bad idea.  I have patches to forward that bed search change to newer versions of the framework.

 

EDIT: Note that OsemelMC's SE version of Sex Lab Utility Plus provides a richer privacy feature.

The Estrus Charus entry only links to the now out-of-date conversion by Pfiffy.   The entry should include a link to the more recent  Estrus Chaurus +

by Bane Master.

Will you ever consider adding things like the porny series (porny book covers, porny signs, etc.) Under the "immersion" category? I like to play with a horny atmosphere as opposed to actual sex ingame and I think these mods are important for the list. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks!

There's also mixed patches floating around not in this thread. Not sure if you're looking for converting all characters to women, but I'm not sure if SkyFem and other patches still work. You'll have to look around.

Pandora does it all. Its newer and has minor bugs but is much faster.

Pandora takes over FNIS requirements. You dont need it anymore.

Forgot to reply on this. Pandora (2.7.0 in the Nexus) is a banger. You can use it without any issue.

Okay.. I'm looking for a SL mod that was on LE that tags a npc as 'male' or 'female' depending on options you set on it.(It'll also change a npc that ends up underneath your crosshairs too that hasn't been changed yet.) For example, if you set it to.. a futa can be tagged as 'male' so that when they are the top or an aggressor in an animation, they don't wear a strap-on right underneath their dick and look weird because of it.... or is that something that's fixed in SE/AE Sexlab?
