HI i'm interested in some suggestions for more obscure mods that don't get so much exposure anywhere.

Oldrim or Newrim does not matter.

Even a little description of how you implement the features or quirks.

Does not have to be specifically LL related i'm looking to give my new build some new dynamic's

Any Great unique Followers, Quests, Spells packs,

i'm particularly interested in hot armor.

(side note)

Spoiler

Does anyone use Mcg extended social interactions?  yeh or meh?

Cleric

If you are looking for a play through as a Paladin / Cleric / Crusader / Monk or any other religiously flavored archetype play styles this little under utilized gem has just the system for you.

separate XP system with levels and perks even its own "mana" like stat in the form of Devotion. Even as old as it is I have never had a conflict with any other mods, and it still runs smoothly to this day.

Hey thankyou. i have been trying to decide about using Wintersun  by enaison  or not, his mods are so vast they can become overwelming Cleric

might be what i need. i was leaning towards the Necromancer-Vampire angle so the Cultist feature sounds good.

bigger trees. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5281

the first mod i ever installed 7 years ago, the first mod that gets reinstalled when i redo my load order.

fallen trees. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/8767

"boy i would like to cross that fucking river valley thing without running all the way around and jumping up the wall for an hour" well now you can, because somewhere, there is probably a fallen tree you can cross now.

passive racial abilities. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/7946

because the ones you have to turn on make no sense.

Hell yes bigger tree's and fallen tree's are a must for me. but i could never get bigger trees to play nice with dyndolod.

P.R.A possibly.

Thanks for the post.

i am building a custom animation and idle pack, i've collected hundreds of combat / walk / run / idle anim's and will use fnis pcea2 for the first time, plus a custom modified version of blade dancer.

(uploaded and immediately banned from nexus for stolen animations. ) but i'm just using the framework to add my own personal compilation. i did not know it was stolen when i dl'd it. i have been using playrandomidleSE but the TFC bug is frustrating as hell and i take a lot of screenies. i'm hoping to find something else.

editing/using other peoples work and reuploading it is the exact definition of mod theft, your not allowed to do that here ether.

Yeah i had to have that clarified when it was deleted, i did not upload it, apparently it's of russian origin. it's bloody awesome though.

i won't be uploading it anywhere or my own version. just for my use. i have several mod's of mods i have made but they stay home.

i'm just a tinkerer.

OMG how could I forget, the most awesome underrated mod of all time!

Fuck The Thieves Guild by Madmansgun

Seriously when that little shit in riften is like, 'never worked a day in your life for all that coin your carrying' just kill him, and all the rest of them. Best mod ever!

Love that mod!

Mors Arrows Be Gone - Automatically unequips arrows/bolts when you unequip bow or crossbow.
There are similar mods out there, but this one works a bit differently. You "bind" specific arrows/bolts to specific bow/crossbow (simply by equiping the bow first, and then equiping the arrows while in your inventory), so when you switch to that bow again, it will equip the same arrows you "bound" to it.
It has very tiny footprint and due to the way how it works, it should work out of the box also for any bows/arrows added by other mods.

Wooden Bridges - Turns some smaller bridges into wooden ones, greatly improving immersion in my opinion.
Like the Simply Bigger Trees mentioned by darkconsole, this is another mod i use no matter what, it is always in my load order.

Whiterun Exterior Home - A convenience mod that adds player chest, bedroll, and some cooking pot, conveniently and immersively placed just outside of Whiterun in the half-destroyed guardhouse or whatever is it.
Since it is just outside of Whiterun, it makes it atutomatically compatible with Open Cities, and probably any mods that change/overhaul Whiterun.
Yet another mod that is always in my loadorder.

Pull Mastery - Some would say it is overpowered. But nah. You want to go somewhere do it. Objects that require 15 minutes of mountain climbing is yours in seconds. The pull enemies function is overall okay if you want to role play Scorpion from Mortal Kombat or Spiderman but we already have things like vegetable soup to stun lock our enemies so I just ignore it. You could get rid of it with x-edit if you really wanted to. The person that showed this to me on Loverslab is a goddamn saint or a devil since this is me we are talking about.

The most underrated mod seems to be RBS. Frankly, I see no point playing a male character without it.

One amazing mod is Cinematic Fire Effects.

I don't know which mods you already know and which ones you don't, but I have written an article where I comment briefly on all the mods I used in my last game (500+ hours). I can post a link if you're interested.
