Flawn's Argonians - July 2020

I'm having an issue with the male tail texture using this with SAM. It's a weird, mostly black texture with some patches that match the skin tone of the character. The weird thing is that I've managed to get the real texture to load in, but only by stripping the PC naked, saving the game, fully exiting, and then loading the game back up. And even then, if I equip armor, or if I adjust any SAM morph values or player weight, it goes back to the black tail.

Typically black spots on your mesh are an indicator that the wrong textures are being used, did you download another version of FA than the one for the SAM body?

The SAM version is a patch, so I had to install the base version of FA and then loaded the patch right after it in MO. Not using any other versions, though, and using the latest versions of both.

Have you tried going in your textures and making sure that you only have the SAM ones in your folder?

Does anyone know if this is compatible with SoS' bodybuilder bodies, or do I need to clean that before installing this?

I think they use the same textures.

I use ModOrganizer, so this is irrelevant. But the only conflicts MO reports in the 'argonianmale' textures folder for both Flawn's mod and the SAM patch are from SAM, and they are being overwritten appropriately.

 

Has anyone else used this mod with full SAM(not SAM light) without encountering this problem? Because the SAM patch does not include any tail textures, and combining that with the fact the tail only seems to glitch out when changing SAM morph values, makes me wonder if the problem is with the mod and not my installation.

Any idea why the neck does this? Mod works amazing on LE, just recently started modding on SE and this was a straight essential.

Beast race necks are thicker than generic human ones and only about 0.5% of armor/clothing modders/porters bother with argonian/khajiit versions of tightly fitting neckpieces. Has nothing to do with this mod, they are the same as vanilla.

 

Your options are to either make argonian/khajiit versions yourself with OS and make them into new ArmorAddons, beg the authors to make beast race versions (good luck) or just use vanilla clothing and/or clothing with proper beast race support.

Or just not bother making new armoraddons, and just edit the base meshes (if you're not gonna use that armor with any other races)

I need more information, is the one on the right supposed to be wearing any footwear? If not, are the bare feet invisible for every argonian?

Is the digitagrade feet ESP placed below the smooth argonians ESP? Try that if it's not.

I have this horse penis redux mod that was mentioned by RimmHardingan earlier in this thread alongside the included patch, and it doesn't look remotely as good as his. The texture hasn't changed and it sticks out like a sore thumb, despite working well on human characters. I posted a pic below of what it looks like, alongside my modwatch. What am I doing wrong here?

Yeah that's the thing, it's not overwriting that mod or any of the other horsecock SoS mods. It doesn't seem to be overwritten or underwritten regardless of placement. I don't know why that is.

I feel like I should add onto what I'm saying so it doesn't come off confusing. This is what the MO looks like, the hoodies patch is working but the horsecock one isn't applying. The hoodies aren't working for women either, but that's probably a whole other issue.

I think I got it. The SE version has different file directory for some reason.

 

The SE one is Data\Textures\ERF_Horse_Penis_Redux\DragonicArgonian\

The LE one is Data\Textures\Actors\Character\SOS\ERF Horse Penis Redux\F\Argonian\

 

You can throw my patch's textures into the SE directory above and that should work.

 

I'll be fixing this myself in the upcoming update.

Hey there, love the mod, I just have a problem

I decided to install Bad Dog Hoodies to do some trans set pieces, I installed the needed patch for your mod but it doesn't seem to work? For me it just shows the vanilla texture for the body and yours for the head, hands and feet. I'm using Vortex too so maybe it could be a pathing error of some kind, I will try to replace the files manually.
