DownDiggity Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 Am I missing a file? Whenever I defeat someone the heart shows up and they make a pop sound but then just straight up disappear. I can see the little pixels they emit to start the interaction but if I do I just turn invisible along with them. I can still execute them and what not but it doesn't seem to work for any npc I defeat, so am I missing a file?
McLovin3 Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 (edited) So there's a new mod that would go great with this. Naturally spawning bandits and cultists https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3357691511 Thinking "Oh boy! Booty whever I go while exploring!" Well.... Several days of playtesting this and I have yet to see a bandit or cultist that generates from this mod turn into a sexnode upon defeat. Defeat works just fine when it procs on location or event based NPCs that have fallen. I'm assuming nobody on this end will make a fix, it'll have to be on that modder's end It Just baffles me how with the many NPC related generating mods that can die into sexnodes out there, this one is the one that just doesn't work Edited November 4, 2024 by McLovin3
ChronosMrk1 Posted January 10, 2025 Posted January 10, 2025 (edited) How would I make it so that I can still lose with this mod? Because rn when I run out of health I can just get fucked to fill it back up so I'm functionally invincible. Would it be possible to maybe refill only half my health and to only do it once or twice? Or something to that effect? Edit: Sorry I just read red3dred's post and the invincibility is mentioned in it so I'm assuming there's no fix for this as of yet? Is there an alternative mod that lets you be fucked when defeated? I am using Tetatophilia. Edited January 10, 2025 by ChronosMrk1
Maxur Posted January 10, 2025 Posted January 10, 2025 i have a problem with this mod... is that whenever i defeat an hostile humanoid npc... meaning they already should 1of2 become a node or just die... they just keep alive until i delete the mod and reload the game assets... thats just messing with most of my quests and i want to know... is there any version where that problem is fixed or there isnt any??
Erina Sugino Posted January 10, 2025 Posted January 10, 2025 Every copy of defeat is personalized. For some it seems to work as "intended", for others it does not. Always has been. A more functional rework is underway, though the person working on it seems to have been... defeated. 3
RealCrusader Posted March 9, 2025 Posted March 9, 2025 My English is not very good, but I will try to explain my problem and how I solved it. This mod worked well for me, then I installed a batch of mods, and a problem appeared where enemies do not die after death but continue to fight, and the character becomes immortal after death but stops regenerating energy. I thought the problem was with a particular new mod, and after an hour of searching and testing, I found it: "sexbound Sex factory yoru" by 루안(Ruan). After removing it (and the race mod from the requirements), everything worked for me. Maybe this will help someone. 2
4356tverf Posted March 30, 2025 Posted March 30, 2025 When playing as a male character, upon defeat starts an animation where the playable character is the dom, despite there being a sub option. The opposite happens when defeating an enemy, a sub animation for the character plays. With sexbound reborn it doesn't start automatically at all, though there is an option to switch roles.

There is an indev build on the GitHub but it was never fully finished. Supposedly works more stable than old defeat though and fixes the "does nothing automatically". 2

I'm not too savvy with GitHub, so I don't even know where to look for it.

You go to the SBR GitHub repo, change the branch from "main" to "Defeat Rework" in the top left-ish and then download the entire thing as .zip in the top right-ish. Then you unzip the downloaded mod just like you would with the source version of normal release SBR. 2

Well, not sure if I somehow installed it wrong, but I downloaded the file, made sure the filepath was correct (mods/<modname>/_metadata), but the items you're supposed to start with in SBR don't get dropped into the inventory, and it appears that some of the enemy AI also isn't functioning anymore? Only have the SBR Defeat Rework, Omnibrowser, API POV, FullPOV, Teratophilia, and GoFYP installed, so I don't know where it went wrong.
firebro1873 Posted October 18, 2025 Posted October 18, 2025 is there a way to customize how long you have have sex with the defeated? especially for monters, (using teratophillia)

In it you can change: - How many seconds a defeated monster stays as a node - How many seconds a defeated NPC stays as a node - How many seconds YOU spend as a node after being defeated As well as other settings that are neatly labeled 1
