Okay, this might be a painfully simple question, but how do you add your mods to the .xml files in redelbe 3.0?

Okay, definitely don't know what I'm doing, and I'm not really understanding the instructions on the README.txt, do you make the folders (i.e folder named layer2) in the patches folder and put the mods in there? I tried that, but it caused the mod launcher to fail...

( 0:00:02.360: bool Utils::VisitDirectory(const string&, bool, bool, bool, bool (*)(const string&, bool, void*), void*, bool, bool): FindFirstFileExA failed on "D:\Gaming\Steam Library\steamapps\common\Dead or Alive 6\REDELBE\Layer2\*". Windows error=0x3 )

Like, is there any actual coding I have to modify (for things like layer2 mods, not asking about replacers or personal modifications/configuration) or were there supposed to be folders somewhere upon unpacking the REDELBE3.0.zip that I may not have gotten due to my unpacking software?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

You have gone in the wrong way too far.

"To install REDELBE, copy the file "dinput8.dll" and the folder "REDELBE" in the folder where you have the game installed"

Did you did that? if you did, you will find the "layer2" folder under "REDELBE". There are set of sample mods in "layer2" folder to show you how a mod should look like.

Thank you! I really appreciate your help, I did do that though, but no folders were in the actual REDELBE folder, only .xmd files under the patches subfolder

(The single folder is the one I made)

Capture.PNG.d8103ada900f20285aec5797a8972c8b.PNG

Also, I did transfer the dinput.dll, just didn't screencap because it's in the larger "Dead or Alive" folder...

I just wanted to say thanks again for the help! I figured it out, I was using breezip to unpack, which didn't extract empty folders, tried using WinRAR and now feel INCREDIBLY stupid, all the files are there and working normally now :)

I have a request for another redelbe feature from Autolink:

In addition to using F5 to toggle HUD, there was a feature where holding F5 and tapping '2' would remove post-processing.

This would be useful, for example, to remove Mai's fire effects, which fill much of the screen and block the view of both characters.  It would also remove the elemental effects of Nico and Kula, which I find very distracting and unrealistic.

Another request:  REDELBE displays the "Slot: JAN_COS_011 Mod: Vanilla", when selecting characters, and the "Slot: JAN_HAIR_001 Mod: Vanilla" when selecting their hairs.  It would be very useful if the face slot could also be displayed on a separate line, e.g., "Slot: JAN_FACE_011".

This would help me to avoid guesswork when trying to replace the current face:  Sometimes the FACE slot is the same as the COS slot, but at other times they can be in very differently numbered slots.

Tried to use the g1m tools to convert/extract Dissidia NT files.

Got error:

Unsupported G!MF version: 30303234 (24)

Are these to come or should I use other tools?

that black area is from a different texture if it's not from the main kidsalb texture. just clone your paint brush in PS to hide it and make it look like the rest of the pants.

I'm getting the "failed to apply patch 'layer2:PatchMRCWIx" even with version 3.0. Does it need to be updated again?

I'm getting layer 2 patch error.. running version 1.04a    any advice on what to do. thanks

ok so pretty sure both of your problems are similar

you guys are probably running redelbe 3.0 on an old version of doa6

i assume both of you are running doa6 version 1.04.a

in which case you'll need redelbe 0.9

Are you sure that you are logged in when checking the file? It usually says "unavailable" only to non-registered or non-logged users.
