Redmoon819 Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 For some reason every NPC that got replaced has purple hair like in the picture. I installed every single mod that was on the requirements but it isn't working.

Evidently the replacer that you are using did not contain the necessary hair meshes.
donttouchmethere Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 as psalam said already, JH NPC 85 needs a certain hair mod, check the "best looking npc replacer" topic, I found the needed hair mod version there. Too long ago tho, can't remember the exact name and version number o.o

Redmoon819 Posted April 8, 2019 Author Posted April 8, 2019 I already have SG268 though. I probably should have done this earlier but here's my mod list
Grey Cloud Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 SG268 was only an educated guess. Other than it being something to do with your MO load order, I haven't a clue. Maybe AiO HDT AP has overwritten your hair? That mod list is a mess anyway. You have CCAS (#92) but do not appear to have AS LAL. If you do have AS LAL (and you really should) then you don't need the cart ride fix (#102). You don't need two skeletons, (#98 and #215). Get rid of #98.
Redmoon819 Posted April 8, 2019 Author Posted April 8, 2019 Damn. Thanks for the help though. I do have AS LAL but I think I just left out a pic of my load order
Gromilla Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 Try to install SG350 pack, I have a version for SE, I think you can port it back to LE using NIFOptimizer. I have almost all JH mods, and they work fine with this pack (on SE)
Redmoon819 Posted April 9, 2019 Author Posted April 9, 2019 Well damn, newer problem. The faces are purple even though I have SG eyebrows
Gromilla Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 Check the paths in the facegendata nif files (unzip pack to any place and check folder Data\meshes\actors\character\facegendata\facegeom\skyrim.esm) to the brow textures. You can check for example this file: Spoiler as I understand this mod uses three sets of eyebrows(SG, jhpeople, and ingame pack) and you need to find which set is buggy.
Redmoon819 Posted April 9, 2019 Author Posted April 9, 2019 Slight problem with that. I haven't used NifSkope before and i'm confused on how to actually find out which set is buggy. Anyway, I tried using NifSkope anyway and the UI or whatever it's called looked like this. Am I doing something wrong?
yatol Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 3 hours ago, Redmoon819 said: Well damn, newer problem. The faces are purple even though I have SG eyebrows why not take a look at the readme to find out yourself what masters you are missing? they are still doing npc replacer that way? that way you can use whatever hair mod you want with those head nifs the hair mesh it's just a small mesh called hair, to have that mesh in the nif npc have an active effect hair_something, that give them a random hair from a formlist hair_something, that you can edit whenever you want a new hair mod is release you rename them to hair add them to those formlist to get them on some npc in your save, either you delete the active effect script from the npc in the save (script will re pick hair from the formlist when it get reload in game), either you make a spell to pick hair from the formlists to give whatever you want to those npcs in game

Anyway, the hair problem is solved and the only problem I am having right now are the brows not working.
