Thank you.  I appreciate it.

hello , I was able to backport some followers mods to le version , but I've run into a problem, they all had a gray face , I tried backporting using a different method  , but the result was the same , if you've any idea why this is happening ,  I'd really appreciate your help.

Did you remove the packt tangent on the Face meshes and activate vertex colors?

I never had this problem since following my own procedure.

thank you . I was able to solve that issue with nifscope , but then I noticed all the followers I've backported have no physiques applied to them , I mean that their breasts and butts are static, I don't  know why this is happening ,   even though I have a xemps32 and HDT-SMP installed, is it suppose to be like that or did I mess up something during the backport ? I'd appreciate your help again.

No, you didn't do anything wrong.

Tt's because smp SE works differently than smp LE. In these cases, I simply exchange the body. I either take the body of a follower that I particularly like or I take the body/hands/feet from meshes / actor / character / characterassests and copy it in place.  The bodytexture doesn't matter cause all follower work with texturepacks. You can also change the loading path of the bodymeshes in tes5edit and thus save yourself the installation of the body meshes. This even improves the performance of the game.

Rework of the smp archtecture is very difficult.

My way is somewhat easier and I'm a lazy modder.

I see.  Make sense.  But may i ask how do i go about saving body meshes in xedit?

Being literal: You can't... New bodymeshes need to be generated in Bodyslide or copied from a custom location, while changing bodyparts requires editing  the body-related package in Armor and/or its dependencies in Armor Addon...

That's quite easy.

Open your follower in tes5edit. Now navigate to Skyrim.esm, Armor Addon and open. On top you see Naked Torso,  Naked Hands and Naked Feet . On the right side you see  a line called Male world model and female world model with a pathgrid behind like for example "Actors\Character\Character Assets\FemaleBody_1.nif".  Copy these 3 pathgrids to Editor or wordpad for easyer work.

Now navigate to you follower Armor Addon and you will find the same. Sometimes it is called a little different like aaaNakedTorso_CF or something similar. On the right side you find the same a line called Male world model and female world model with a pathgrid behind like "actors\character\AkutoFollower\femalebody_1.nif". The only thing you have to do is to replace that pathgrids with the ones you have copied from the  Skyrim.esm with copy and paste.  Save, done! ?

If you don't want to have your followers use the Skyrim.esm body, but all a special follower body ,take the pathgrid of an other follower or create a special bodyfolder containing a special body- hand- and feet mesh.

If you change a CBBE follower to UUNP this way you have to put an UNP bodytexture in the coressponding texture folder of the follower.?

Have fun

Sorry to bother you again harvarld.  But there's something I forgot to ask you . What about the outfit ? , sometimes follower comes with their own outfit,  if i want the outfit to have a physique too.  Do i need to convert the whole outfit in bodyslide to a new HDT body? Or is there a simpler way?  I really hope there's a more simpler way.  Beacuse that's requires a lot of work.

I need some help, I've been looking at presets on tulius and idk what kinda requirement those presets need, they usually only have a gdrive download and no requirements section. Is there a pre-determined list that korean modders use so they can easily share presets or smthin?
