You can also just use links to repository websites.

Putting together screenshots is not the best way to showcase something. Especially when details can be important.

 

Not an option as those usually get deleted after some time.

 

 

I understand a limit. But that should be based on storage size not just a flat number. A PNG with 2.5 MB counts the same as a JPG with 600 KB? A modfile with 100 MB too? Not the best solution...

@AylisNice trick, it worked well!! 

 

It seems that the latest version of DynDOLOD varies slightly from your tutorial-- just slightly enough that it called me out on a wrong choice lol. 1381287752_NR6u7iZ1.png.a4c590a01fb0b8ea4086a89c13b0faa5.png

 

Then I noticed the tree LOD generation box isn't checked in your screenshot because it's completely greyed out. I'm going ahead with it because xLODgen took a whopping 20 minutes to finish and I guess I'll find out soon if I've messed anything up lol.

augh, thanks for being so patient. I just left that sitting in my Downloads folder and never did anything with it..... 

 

i'd also forgotten to disable FNIS before running Nemesis and so nothing could animate either, AND I think I forgot to grab a racemenu preset for greek goddess... I probably need to just get some sleep and start again tomorrow with a clear head cuz I still have all those pages of MCMs to go through!

you need to install leitos animations as well

Actually changelog like yours is more convenient in term of archiving, Let's say I'm focus on playing the game for more than 3 months and then come back to check, a changelog on front page is faster way to be up to date with the modlist than tracing back all the previous updates.

How do you install "Rudy ENB SE for Cathedral Weathers"?  The mod that follows Part 1 and Part 2 of Rudy ENB.

 

I manually downloaded it.  I extracted the contents of the Cathedral Weathers Version folder in the main SSE directory.  But what of the ADDONS folder?  How do you install that?

If you are behind a few changes Aylis made and have added some mods on your own you don't want to remove your personal choices by accident.

Absolutely agree, when i miss an update i have to manually compare my list to the guide, mod by mod. it would be way better to have an archive. Even if its just external (a link to something like GitHub plain text)

Don't know yet what is going on there... It is an example and not required. Same handling as the 'optional' files...

 I figured that's what you would do with the required .rar files.  But what about the folders like "Depth of Field Options" etc.?  I assume those have to be manually placed somewhere?

@rodrigo2 You can also click the wrench/screwdriver icon, choose Install Mod, navigate to the file in question, and add it that way. I do this with all manually installed mods. MO2 works with rar files (which all the addons are) out of the box without manually extracting them. There's a couple of ways to do a lot of things in MO2, just up to personal preference.

 

@Jessica_Degurechaff You will not dip to 20fps with a 3070 and 32gb ram. I run a 2080 with 32 and come nowhere near that. Occasionally it'll drop in Whiterun or Riften, but that seems to be an issue with the game. On the overworld during a blizzard at most I drop to ~50. If you have a computer that beefy, by the love of Talos, use it.

 

@darkdragonlove Maybe check the STEP Project guide. I think there's one for VR. They try to keep the game as close to vanilla as possible, which means you could probably add the VR Loverslab mods pretty easily.

@Aylis I want to build a Shield-sister skin patch using Demoniac skin but I don't understand these 2 files in Head folder: femaleheaddetail_frekles.DDS and femaleheaddetail_age40.dds.

For femaleheaddetail_age40.dds, i suspect it is replaced with old female skin texture.

For femaleheaddetail_frekles.DDS, I coundn't think of any equivalent file. Is it ok to not edit this file?

This could work or give you a 'Black Face Bug'. Can't say as i use my own skin.

 

 

@ascendentkunglao

When you talk to him you should have options to select a direction of animations with several possible ones. If that doesn't work then you either set a filter or need more animations.

All right here we go. I got some sleep and redid FNIS & Nemesis making sure to disable the FNIS *mod* before doing Nemesis, enabling both outputs, and only leaving Nemesis mod enabled, then I redid all 4 DynDOLOD outputs. Aaaand nothing's animating. It also doesn't look like the new LODs are getting used but I'm not really sure right now. I tried disabling and enabling a bunch of combinations of nemesis, FNIS, and their outputs and starting new games with no changes. 

 

Additionally, I've got an issue with lighting where a light in a room will suddenly disappear as i change the camera angle:

I'm going to go through and disable all my old Creation Club purchases but other than that I don't really know how to proceed from here. It looks like a bunch of other mods including texture packs are working as intended, though.

OK, lets try FNIS only for now:

1. Make sure to run it through MO2.

2. Activate the following patches:

    Untitled.jpg.8994d976e6cf1234508c31c3ccf2d223.jpg

3. Let it run through.

4. Check for errors or warnings. Those have to be fixed first!

5. How many animations does it show?

Thank you, again. I'm so sorry about this. 

 

I made extra sure to check GENDER Specific Animations, SKELETON Arm Fix, and TK Dodge / Ultimate Combat. 


I got the following one warning:

and this many animations: 
 5907 animations for 21 mods successfully included (character).

 2251 animations for 8 mods and 45 creatures successfully included..

Sounds like you got the wrong version or a broken download. You downloaded the MoreNastyCritters_v12_5SE.7z, right?

My first thought was that looks rather loli. Head feels too large for that petite body. Then I realized the preview is only weight 50 and got really scared. Given that almost all the NPC beautifiers and/or followers fall into the upper end of the weight scale I am absolutely horrified what it would do if I picked that preset as a replacer.

At weight 0 it's a board - at weight 100 it's a 'Holy Moly'!

 

The range makes it interesting. But i got to tinker more with it.
