@unmogI've just tested the DCL 8.3 / DF 2.02b combo and everything looks fine to me (at least I'm not experiencing what you're describing), so, sadly, that's probably not it ?

@keitsoruI've 2 answers for your requests :

* I'm a total beginner in terms of modding so it'd probably be hard for me to implement anything atm

* Even if I could, this is @Lozeak's mod to begin with, I'm only converting it for SE as well as I can ;)

Regarding the features you're talking about, it might be a good idea to have a look at what is going down in the main post for the mod (oldrim)

Hope this helps

Hey guys I just found this mod and wanted to try it out, however Im having a weird problem that no one here mentioned.

For some reason as soon as I install it and load up the game, my character's stand pose is replaced with a crawling one, on their hands and knees. I've looked through all the mcm options and tried resetting it and disabling it and re-enabling it but no help. Ive tried reinstalling, no go. When I reinstall (Im using vortex if that matters or not) I notice I get a conflict.

The conflict is with cursed loot, and it asks which one I want to be first and which to be last. It suggests I do it before DCL, I assume since DCL can overwrite things if needed. I also noticed DCL isn't listed as a requirement, tho I have it already anyway... but I couldnt find any install instructions mentioning any of this. Regardless I've reinstalled multiple times now, and I've tried setting it to be first and to be last. Each time I also have ran FNIS like I assume I need to do.

0044564899.png

However anytime I load up my game my character is back on their hands in knees. I noticed in the mcm that there was a deal involving crawling around in town, so I tried to leave town. Still on knees. I went into a dungeon, still on knees. Ive tried saving in said dungeon, and reloading there, still on knees. For some reason, it only effects my standing/sneaking idle pose however. When I move around its on two feet as normal. When I have a weapon out, Im standing. When I put it away Im back into a crawling position. This doesnt seem to effect my first person experience at least, only the third person view.

Lastly, I know it's something to do with this mod specifically, since uninstalling this mod makes the issue go away and I didn't have the issue before installing this mod. In case it matters I don't even have a follower yet, or would it matter that I'm not starting a new game?

Any advice? Thanks for your time kupo

It's likely a rubber texture or something. Just load DF before and it should be the same, it's likely it's all the same anyway.

Also love the kupo ^^.

Hey, so, I dunno if the original mod worked a bit different, and I don't know how capable you are as far as making your own additions, but would it be possible to add content that maybe relies a bit less on the player interacting with the follower, or NPCs first? I get that it's not meant to spam sex at the player, but at the same time, for those of us that decide to jump straight to enslavement via simple slavery for example, it would be nice for the follower to be more aggressive, and maybe do more things related to the player being enslaved.

Also, it gets kind of frustrating having one female option to randomly be selected via Simple Slavery. >.>

Making additions to this mod is 100% allowed people can do what ever they want with my content as long as it's free and on this site.

That said what you asking is a lot of work for the author and making it very hard to support further updates and there added content which I believe the purpose of this upload/thread.

You request is very unclear, how do you mean. What examples of content don't you like? How would you like it to work? If you reply please Quote this or @Lozeak cause I do like feedback and react to it.

That said the mod is designed with not taking over the game unlike say SD+ and some DCL enslavement outcomes which may be more what you want.

@Inawen_ll thank you again for you work.

Hey, first, thanks so much for the reply! I didn't realize the original creator of the mod was actually following the thread! xD

It isn't that I don't like any of the content. What's there so far is great! Whether it is just the mod not working fully as intended on SSE's engine, or a genuine lack of spontaneity is beyond my scope of knowledge, but there only seems to be one or two events that are actually prompted by the follower without first speaking with them. That's pouring cum all over the player and having them have sex with nearby NPCs until a quota is filled. That, and the barter deals.

What I am hoping for is more content in towns, or settlements, centered around the follower trying to utilize the player to earn money back. Maria Eden in Oldrim for example has this interesting event where the follower will actually proposition random NPCs. While ME is a bit more forceful with this concept, I think it could work in Devious Followers with the threat of more debt if the player doesn't comply.

Another option could be to play a naked courier of sorts. The follower could give you random deliveries when not adventuring (on a reasonable cooldown, of course), and perhaps offer the use of the player as incentive for an extra tip.

For beast lovers, perhaps if there is a dog, or other creature nearby that isn't hostile, the follower can ask the owner of the property if they would be interested in seeing the player have sex with said animal, or even ask to make use of said animal in a public show to earn septims?

These are just ideas off of the top of my head. I've also noticed that the tape gag event mentions, "if it falls off, <follower> will use your mouth before putting it back on". This never seems to happen to me, though. Apparently the whore sign is supposed to prompt something unique as well?

On that note, is the "I'm a whore" dialogue supposed to prompt something more than a snide comment? It would make more sense to me if perhaps it triggered an offer to have sex with the NPC in question for money. It's a deal, not part of slavery, so it makes sense player consent is still involved.

I don't expect all, if any of these ideas to be implemented. Some of them conceptually are a bit of a tall order without taking too much control from the player. On the flip side, though, I think that should kind of be the incentive to try and pay down the debt as fast as possible, because the more you owe, the closer you are to having more and more freedom taken from you while in towns or in civilization.

On my other point, about Simple Slavery, there are three male followers to get assigned to, and then one female (Janessa) I get that these are probably the followers that seem the most like they would in fact impose slavery on the player due to debt, but I'm certain there are more followers in the vanilla game that support this? or maybe add an option to toggle follower mods?

RIP, just saw your reply. More deals are always good.

@Lozeak, I really want to see the item carrying mechanic. Maybe to add to it, the follower could take a percentage of loot/gold gathered inside of dungeons on exit?

Thanks for the reply, you're the original mod author? Why would a rubber texture trigger an animation tho?

Anyway. Im not sure what it was but I tried installing it again and this time no crawling animation. I hadn't really uninstalled anything either, tho I did add a few like iNeed and such. Maybe it was just a weird fluke but, it seems to be working now at least.

And kupo ?

It's actually in the DD page... But the file has no name so i thought it was an error or whatever. I don't have HDT though, downloaded anyway.

So uhm, after trying out the mod a bit I gotta admit my initial settings were brutal, and when combined with LAL and Simple Slavery that was a really tough start. Talk about hardmode. Anyway I had some feedback for @Lozeak and @Inawen_ll for uhm, whoever is the right person to ask about it.

Feedback about deals= When I had no idea what I was doing or how the specifics of the mod worked I was like "eh, just throw it up to a max of 5 deals" thinking I could have 5 different deals going on, which is one reason it was so tough. And when I would ask about what my deals were, the follower apparently left some things out so I kept getting in trouble for not having the right things on that I was apparently supposed to. This was compounded by the LAL simple slaver problem of starting with a bunch of deals instead of agreeing to them each time one by one so I knew what they were. Or maybe all the deals your in could be listed on the stats page in detail? I noticed some of them show up in the mcm, but I have one right now where I have to wear nipple rings and it doesnt appear so I can only guess some are new or bugged or something.

My suggestion~ it'd be nice if 1= the tell me about my deals was at the first menu so as to avoid a lot of clicking to find out, and more detailed information given to avoid confusion, and 2= separate the deal exit cost from the penalty from ending the deal early. AKA, if I want the deal to cost me nothing once its over (or to end it automatically when times up), and I want a big penalty for asking to get out early, Im SOL. Currently if you set the "gold to remove deal" to 0 then it will always be free even if you have a high penalty for removing it before the time is up. 3= The deal duration in days, while time when your follow recalculates your bill is in hours. As someone who plays skyrim at a much slower time speed than default, Id appreciate the ability to specify if deals can last a number of hours, or at least 0.5 a day minimum. Otherwise maybe I found a bug or oversite in the debt. If I pay it all off, it then just adds another 1 gold to the debt so I cant ever pay it off? Whats wrong with having it at 0? Or perhaps using deals to start a positive tab?

Feedback about gambling= I like the mechanic over all, and in general the little mini bondage games like that. And while I understand its supposed to be geared in a way that you're more likely to lose money instead of gain it, I have a few suggestions about that as well.

My suggestion~ as mentioned above 1= It'd be more convenient if something like the gambling game and other games were on the first menu to avoid having to repeat a bunch of clicking over and over to get to it. 2= Maybe having more customization over the debt vs gold earned. For instance, I think a jackpot shouldn't also include with it debt since a 1 is just flat debt and no gold. It'd also be nice to fine tune the amounts specific rolls of the dice give, or perhaps give your follower the ability to cheat or use rigged dice or something like that? To accomplish that, Id just suggest a new mcm menu called "mini games" where you could decide all that. Lastly, 3= I know there's another game involving getting a key but I havent done it yet. But maybe some more minigames in the future please? I like interactivity ?

Feedback about the mcm= I really appreciate having an mcm btw, so I don't want any of this to come off as whining. I also understand that maybe you have a certain way you want the mod to be played and you're entitled to artistic freedom.

My suggestion~ 1= I noticed some of the options are extremely limited while others arent. Like debt added per day is 50 minimum, but debt per level is 0 with 5 gold increments. Id have liked instead to to have a 0 gold minimum and then have the debt per day be entirely level based, but it wasnt an option. 2= the max debt allowed before enslavement has an option to increase it's threshold but the amount before your follower gets rid of you doesnt increase? From how it was worded I figured it'd effect both. 3= The event timer, it only has increments of 0.2 days. This really bothers my ocd that I can't get it to 0.5/half. Maybe you could change that to be measured in hours instead? Other than that, what does the deal event timer do? I've not experienced it much because I have it set to 1 day because of the increments and my OCD, but the deals are also set to a day so I havent actually experienced many. It only says "How often certain deal events happen", like what? Is it perhaps related to the potion quest? If so I had to disable that because I ran into a bug. I'll talk more about the bug at the bottom.

Feedback about inns= Lastly, but actually one of the more important critiques, I was surprised when I first went to an inn to see they jacked up the price 10x for a room, this was before I even had a follower. For that price I think I should be getting breakfast lunch and dinner included. It took me awhile to figure out which mod was causing this change as well, found out its this one. Other than that, yea I understand money isn't too hard to get later on but when I just started [and I had to restart to get it working] 100 gold is a lot, comparable to most armor pieces at that level.

My suggestion~ it's not nice to not include changes in the mod description. 1= I suggest first of all at least include this information somewhere in the mod description. 2= I'd appreciate either an mcm option to change this behavior, and or make your follower pay for it if they're you're master. However I just strongly suggest to just change it back to the default 10 gold. If you want something more in depth, maybe its 10 without a follower, 20 if you do, and if you want to buy only your follower a room that's also the standard 10 instead of the current 50. 3= In that same vein of thinking, if you're intent on increasing the price and don't care to lower it for immersion reasons, have the price also include some food and drink for those of us with need mods so it doesn't feel like as much a rip off. With frostfall, I can buy a tent and camp as much as I want close to that price. Also, as an FYI, back in medieval times a whole years rent for a cottage was around 5 silvers~ granted this is a game and a meal is usually a few gold, but it's something to keep in mind. A nights stay in a crappy room shouldn't cost like 20 times that of a lunch and not include anything else for it.

So about the potion quest bug I experienced. I was stealing from people in an inn and all of a sudden an npc approached and started talking about paying off my debt if I drank a mysterious potion. I wasn't able to move, or even stop sneaking, but nothing happened after that. I figured it was maybe because I was sneaking at the time or too far away from the person, so I reloaded and waited for it to happen again.

This time I was standing right next to them when they started talking again, and even tho I was pointed at them this time and I could talk to them, I didnt get an option to accept or decline the potion. I just stayed there frozen, unable to move. The game didn't freeze since I was able to move my camera and I could change my direction I was facing by pulling out and sheathing my weapon. After trying and failing to get this to work a few more times I just turned off that option.

Oh, and Im unsure how gold control works or not, its kind of vague as well. What sort of things turn it on automatically? Because I saw a dialogue option for letting them control my gold but I never agreed to it. I also don't understand what the chance to be sent to simple slavery does in the "other mod settings" menu does.

Anyway, I appreciate the mod, the hardwork, and any time/patience spent answering me. Kupo

Edit= Oh, yea, I forgot. The whore armor. How exactly do I customize it or change it? I would at least prefer to change the body so it matches my current body. I've tried to figure it out but maybe it isnt working, so until then I've disabled it. OCD is a bitch kupo

Yeah I am, and my game ran really wonkily after putting this (and a few other mods) in.  Troubleshooting now to see if this is the culprit.

Edit:  Running FNIS again didn't fix it.  Removing the mod and running FNIS again fixed it.  I have all of the prerequisites, and they run fine without this mod.

The only thing I can think of is that the mod author is running the most recent SKSE (2.0.16) , while I'm running the last one (2.0.15)?

Edit 2: Reverting to 2.02b fixed the issue.

nope, 2.03 animations are not converted it seems. (i am running latest skse). i'll try running the mod trough assets optimizer, see what it does ^^
I'll Get the oldrim 2.03a version and convert that one, not sure if this 2.03 is the 2.03a Version or not...

Thanks for the feedback, though most of the gameplay related fb is not quite in my ball park (rn I just convert whatever I can without touching up the mod in itself). I'd gladly apply the DD fix you're talking about if you can point it to me, since I've been researching that a while and never found a solution that'd work on my end. I must admit that as this particular issue seems pretty common on other mods I might have let go of the problem as a "must fix" pretty early, thinking that it's just my DD setup that isn't up to snuff. We can most certainly chalk that up to my inexperience as a modder/mod user, that is true, but if you have material I can use, please send it my way ;)

sorry, there isn't much i can do. Im fairly confident that it is a problem on DDs end that needs to be fixed. But that mod is no longer being updated, except for runtime compatibility.

I will look into the potion quest sometime next week and see what i can find, It could be missing/changed scripts in skyrim that oldrim relied on.

Anyone else have CTD on loading in or starting a new game with 2.03 version? The animations aren't compatible out of the box, but I converted them and that didn't fix my crashes.

Edit: Tried out 2.02b and that also crashes. Guess it's not the version rip.

Edit 2: My issue was unrelated to this mod oopsie. I passed the animation limit and this just happened to be the mod that broke the camels back so to speak.

I rant the animations through conversion software twice (once with Cathedral Assets Optimizer, and once with HavokBehaviorPostProcessexe, and an animations upgrade .bat), and they still register as not compatible with SE which is supremely strange.

Link to comment

So uhm, I noticed there was an update to 2.03 but when I tried it I was getting FNIS errors. Is that not SE compatible or is there something wrong? Specifically I get this error >>Warning: \character\behaviors\FNIS_DeviousFollowers_Behavior.hkx not Skyrim SE compatible<< which causes T-poses, so guess I gotta stick with 2.02 for now.

I looked at the original as well, are there anymore specifics of what was actually fixed or, maybe more specifically, what was broken in 2.02?

Edit= I also realized something was going on with the follower lives. I had set it to 1 life to be, in my mind, a little more realistic and harder. But apparently when asking him to gamble, one of the main ways I use to get in trouble at town, he would instantly become tired and want to rest. Apparently gambling with him takes a life? If so, I'd suggest that be changed so it didnt, since it doesnt make much sense really, and then he just instantly becomes grumpy.

Also, since it might not have been seen last time, I suggest the price for quitting a deal early be based on how much credit the deal grants you instead of the price to get out of it. That way if you want it to be free to get out when the time is up, but have a huge penalty for leaving early, you could do it. Currently if you set the price to leave a deal to 0, it makes the price for leaving early to 0 as well. :/

I think I can see what the problem with the animations is:

The behaviour file in 2.03 is dated 23/06/2018 while the file in 2.02b is dated 26/05/2019 so it looks like  you packed the wrong (much earlier) behaviour file in with 2.03

I'm just trying the 2.02b file in place of the 2.03 one now.

Link to comment

Well, that kind of worked.... the error message went away and all the animations worked but the no weapons standing pose is a kind of loose t-pose (arms at 30 degrees).

Anyone know how to get the 'weird potion' working? I get the option to drink it but it doesn't appear in the inventory.

As has been mentioned in previous posts, the 2.03 version has the oldrim animation. If you use 2.03, run FNIS with devious followers disabled, or go back to version 2.02b.
