Animated Tongues?

No tongue in Skyrim? Bullshit! I found Halo's tongue mod. But, that's more of an outfit add-on or something. Is there a mod out there that gives your character(s) a tongue to....ahhh.... lick things with? Or more specifically, are there any animations that use tongue? You know, like Sexlab animations? :D

Sorry, wrong section. I know.

There is also wraith tongues. I remember stating that it was a pity that none of them were animated in their LL thread and they were talking about it but I'm not sure if they did or not.

Thanks. It would be great and super sexy to have some tongue play in Skyrim, wouldn't it? OH! And what about kissy-kiss mods?

Let your imagination run with this image-

I remember someone asking this same question in another topic. The consensus was that animated tongues couldn't be properly anchored to head vertices; they had to be anchored to a point where the mouth of that specific head was. Not using the head specific to that tongue would result in it not matching up with the mouth location.

I'm just going by memory so I'm likely missing some additional key issues.

Could it be an equipable animated object instead? Like any other piece of clothing/armor? That way it could be adjusted in BodySlide maybe? I soooo want to see my character doing some funky tongue stuff!! :D

Armor and clothing aren't animated objects. They're statics that adhere to an animated model. Actual animated objects are part of an animation, which is why animated tongues would not be placed properly to the mouth unless we used the exact same model used to create the animation.

Some of Billyy's skeever anims have animated tungs. I know this because I saw it a couple of hours ago with my very own eyes.

I'm glad it's not just me. No chance of me recalling where or when though.

Those are NPCs, not the character. Unless someone uses a skeever mod the models for those ROUS stays the same for everyone's game.

Yep but proof of concept, surely?

I never said it couldn't be done. But unless you're using the exact same head and skeleton meshes as the animator who creates an animated tongues mod, there will be serious alignment issues that users can't fix in the game. Which is why animators haven't bothered except in preview pics of their work.

Is there any way to add the tongue mesh to the head for a race? And then to rig it for animations like the head similar to how you make the eyes look a certain direction or the eyebrows raise or something? I'm thinking that if it could be incorporated into the mesh and rigged, then it could be animated as well. Am I totally "off" in thinking this? Too bad Fore isn't around to give his thoughts.

I really don't know. I'm just paraphrasing what I remember reading in another thread and supposing from what I do know about animations in Skyrim. An animator would know more about this. Like Fore, as you mentioned.
