Update : Harpies are done, just a few more portraits to do and some testing then I'll be ready to ship out the next update.
I'll also have to work some on existing patches to make sure they are still working correctly.

Launcher says "The path to this mod is invalid and the mod cannot be loaded by the game". I have put the mod files in the correct spot and disabled/uninstalled all other mods to make sure it wasn't a weird conflict issue.

in the "dadicholewdxenos.mod", search for path="input_path_here" and edit that line where your mod is located.

you can also go in mod tools on the paradox launcher and create a new mod from there with whatever name you want then mmove lewdxenos's file to that new mod folder you created.

My bad I should have written it somewhere first.
Hope that clears things up.

Yup that worked, seems like the Launcher is getting less friendly to mods every update.

So, I'm kinda new here, but I is this mod supposed to have custom traits? I see references to them in previous posts but I don't see them. Also, I think I'm missing some of the other portraits, for instance I don't the the Goblins anywhere. Am I doing something wrong, or did I just miss something?

Goblinettes are included in the mod, however since the number of slots used for species portrait in the ""Lewd Section" from this mod is higher than the maximum slot available, some portraits won't show. Atherefore you need a slider for them to show up , so a UI mod with a slider is required for them to show up. I think theslider got removed from vanilla in a recent update for some ***** reason.

If you use steam,I recommend this mod.

For the trait,it is just my personal mod in which I gave the Elves and Draenei custom traits to reflect their life expectancy from the universe they are from.

Hey, so I've downloaded this mod - updated the "input_path_here" in the MOD file, and the launcher is all happy, but when I go to species creation in game, nothing is there. Do you need a certain DLC or something?

No I don't think you need any dlc...
to play the lewd machine you need the Synthetic Dawn dlc as stated in the code

playable = { host_has_dlc = "Synthetic Dawn Story Pack" }

But there is no such line for the base Lewd species.
Hmm, try changing the line to

path="mod/dadicholewdxenos"

When I start the launcher,it updates the file for me and the game  auto changes it

path="69:/XX/XX/XXX/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mod/dadicholewdxenos"

Hope that fixes it.
You could also check in the logs/errors files of the game in "Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\logs" to see if any of the mods files have problems.

I'm using version 2.2.7 with v20 installed. Any chance you could help me get it working? It shows up in the mod list. That's about it. I believe i pathed it correctly as well but i'm open to any advice. Please take the time to help thanks

Maybe check the error log to see if any of them ods files are stated there ?
You could also try simply creating a new mod using the launcher mod tool and moving the files there or perhaps move them to an existing mod ? Make a back first in case.
You could also send me a screenshot of the path on your file.
These problems may be my fault, If it is I'll try changing the mod path in the next update.

Leaving the path blank worked for me, for some reason. Otherwise the mod vanished in the launcher.
path=""

30 minute update- After updating everything once again, my 'fix' no longer works :P  After inputting the path the mod in the launcher just vanishes.

so it worked at first but then it stopped ?
...
I dunno,try maybe writing in the file path  where your mods are.
Why is it an issue in the first place ? I mean before they updated the launcher,all of this wasn't necessary...

Edit: Here's some more pics of species I have been working on.

Okay, so I downloaded the mod, Unzipped it. then put int in the file directory as follows.
"C:/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mod/dadicholewdxenos"
This is also the same path I put in the mod when I opened it in note pad. And yet when I go into the mod launcher it show up but ai get a "No" red circle with a red line in it. In other words, I can't even turn the mod on. I have attempted to load in manually and get the same result. At this point a figure I'm missing something minor that others find obvious but I have missed due to it a bit of coding fuckery I'm not knowledgeable about. Please help this monkey with a brick. I want to figure this out before I lose what little is left of my mind. Only porn can cure what ails me.
