While there are two sole textures included in that mod, I don't think either of them are meant for black/dark skinned characters. Having just created a pretty dark-skinned character, I was thinking of asking about this myself, and I hope something like this exists somewhere. Overlays like the ones in the above mod would probably work great if somebody whipped up some palm/sole textures. I might have a go at that myself at some point, but I've never done feathered borders in Gimp.

You're probably right (don't use the mod) I just mentioned the mod as it is the only sole texture overlay mod as far as I'm aware, and if the OP was interested, he might request such a specification from the author.

I had contacted the author and he has said that he might include such a thing in the next update or SkFO 2 in the future.

Let's hope that happens. In the meantime, this is what I managed to scrounge up in Gimp today:

 

 

 

I just cut off the soles from femalebody.dds, feathered/blurred the edges and pasted them over one of the sole textures from the mod linked by GimmeBacon earlier. I'd have done the hands too, but I've got no clue how hand tattoos work. The soles were a straightup overlay over femalebody.dds but the hand tattoo overlay doesn't look similar to femalehands.dds at all:

 

 

The turqoise glitter looking stuff is one of the hand freckle overlays from the mod mentioned above, edited for visibility. They're supposed to be freckles on fingers, but as you can see, they don't line up with the hand texture at all- for starters, the femalehands.dds I used for testing was 2048x1024 pixels, whereas the overlay is 2048x2048 pixels. If someone can clue me in on how hand tattoo overlays are supposed to work, I could continue work on this, but as it is, I'm stumped. Here's the sole texture I made for those who are interested, intended to replace one of the textures from Skin Feature Overlays.

It was a pain in the ass, but now there are palms to go with the soles I posted yesterday, and in proper mod form! I'm not entirely happy with how the palms look, but the way the hand textures were laid out was a bit more complicated and threw me for a loop. Hopefully these will be enough until someone more talented in texture editing takes over.

Okay, the rest of the screenshots are going back up. It took me a while to realise that my panicking about my character's exposed nipples was surrounded on all sides by ads with jiggling anime tits or women being fucked in the ass ?

many use Adblocker for various reasons, to the first because of porno material, to the second because many of these advertising pages malware are infected.
I to the example, can not see some ads, because these websites are banned in Germany (Hentai).

I think you could upload this in the texture category here or on Nexus.

 

 

Edit: It works pretty well with slavetats color palette and on NPC's, I have made a temp replacer version since the custom pack didn't register.

 

The tattoos are found in "Art" section,  "left skull" for soles in feet area, and "hands both" for palms in hands area

Jokes aside, my mod did work, right? You got the soles and palms to show up and everything? I feel I should probably make sure before I stick this in Downloads. 

 

I actually intended to make the textures Slavetats overlays at first, but I didn't think they looked quite right transparency- and colorwise. Got any screens? I'm interested to my hasty creation out in the world ? If you get the custom pack working, I might as well include it as an option in the download.

Both versions looking good! I guess I was too hasty to dismiss Slavetats- I wonder what I thought the problem was, I'm guessing you're also using a CBBE body? Just wondering if the overlays will line up for UNP users. (I had a quick go at making dark nipple overlays but they turned out way too dark and saturated, so the palms and soles are going to have to suffice.)

Yes I am, since day one lol. As for UNP I'm not sure, they might or they might not fully, not all overlays are made for specific bodies in mind. Hah you're an overachiever ? this is gut stuff as it is.

I'm a bit late to the party but does anyone else get a sharp line between the soles and rest of the foot? I want it to look smooth like in the pics above but somehow it doesn't blend with my skin texture. Haven't tried the slavetats version yet.
