fejeena Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 left side the installed Mods with esp and esm in load order. Right side all OMods in your OMod folder ( when you install OBMM it creates a folder for the Omods Oblivion/obmm/mods, (but you can create a own folder and change the path in the OBMM setting) ! Only the Mods with a blue square are installed, the other Mods are only in my OMod folder, the clors show conflicts, green = no conflict, Black = some files are the same but same size ( so they are maybe the same ), Red = conflict. I have all my Mod as OMods. I unpack the Mod files, put esp / esm and folders in right placed ( if they are not right) and patch esp if needed ... and then create Mod. Also with replacer Mods that have only textures and/or mesh I create OMods. So I can uninstall a Mod mod Spoiler EDIT: And you can uninstall without mess up the other Mods.

Lamae Bal Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 TES Mod Manager allows importing mod info. I think that version 1_0 one is the only required one, everything else is optional variants and stuff for chocolate elves mod.
fejeena Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 No OBMM can install fron a zip or 7z ( but you should not do it ) You can unpack a zip, 7z ,... and then install from the unpack folder. But some mods you only get as OMods. These Mods you put in the OMod folder ( Oblivion/obmm/mods ) then start OBMM and you see the Mod in the right window, now you can activate it ( if the Mod have a esp you will see it now in the left window ) or you can unpack the OMod. And you can unpack Mods clean/correct folders if needed, delete things you do not want , and then pack it again as zip or 7z and add the Nexus download number in the name. And if you see a unpacked Mod is fine ( all in the right folders ) you can use the packed file. You must not rename the nexsus downloads And if you create a OMod : In OBMM you can add mod infos; discription mod author, version number ,.... but in many Mod you have it ( modders can add the info in the esp ) You can use the "import Mod info" function. ------------------------------------------------------------ Many people say Wrye Bash is good. Try it. I used OBMM so long I will not change my Modmanager. --------------------------------------------------------- The nexus download: You need F-INevOblivion 1_0 and dremora ears You can use the dunmer fix , if you want more greyish texture. You do not need Bonus pack is for modders. You do not have the Chocolate Elves race.
johntrine Posted January 9, 2019 Author Posted January 9, 2019 alright. i'll download and install the mods and let you guys know if i have some problem later since it's getting kinda late here... thanks for the help so far! looking forward to playing oblivion!!! right. just one last thing. what is the base+dlcs oblivion load order? any dlcs that should be above or below others? and does the unofficial oblivion patch comes for only the base oblivion or base+dlcs?
fejeena Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 I see you have not read my yellow Link !!!! Bad boy, you have to go to bed without dinner. See my example load order , there are all dlc. And unofficial oblivion you get for base Oblivion and all dlc, so you can install what you need. And the patches are also in my example load order.
Lamae Bal Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 Use BOSS https://boss-developers.github.io/ Get most recent masterlist, only found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/45765
fejeena Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 Yes BOSS. You can use only the masterlist and sort manually ( OBMM or WryeBash). then use Notepad++ to open the masterlist. ( read my yellow Link ) And there is also a github.com Link for the masterlist. The creator of the masterlist did not upload the list to nexus for some years. And the lists are the same you can download from github.com or Nexus.

Sladen2019 Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 If you want to use Wrye Bash, the newest version offered at Nexus works fine. I use it myself as my mod manager. Its nice being able to install mods and manage them and have a Bashed Patch all in one manager. Download the standalone version and put the Mopy folder inside the same folder where the Oblivion exe is. You will not be able to download mods straight to the right folder unless you set it up in your web browsers settings to save files straight to the Bash Installers folder. I suggest to save them to wherever you want, and then simply move them to the Bash Installers folder.
johntrine Posted January 10, 2019 Author Posted January 10, 2019 so apparently mod organiser works with oblivion and is kinda easy to use since i know how to use it... anyways, @fejeena currently downloading mods from the link you have in your sig (my internet is very slow...) currently at downloading armors sooo.... here are the links to some mods that i'm curious what exactly am i supposed to download... edit- looked at https://github.com/boss-developers/oblivion/blob/master/masterlist.txt and apparently it has lovers mods in it... so boss now has lovers mod support? i think?
fejeena Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 BOSS always had Lovers mods. But not in right order. In my yellow Link I posted also a BOSS load order with Lovers Mods. You have read my yellow Link, then you what to do. Run BOSS and then sort Lovers Mods manually ( most Lovers Mods will be in right order but some not ) ------------------ The 3 Mods: Do you really have read my Link? First you install a Body replacer. Then you install a armor clothes replacer for the body you have chosen. The 3 Mod are for 3 different bodies, of course you only need the one. First Mod: if you have installed the DMRA body Second Mod: if you have installed the HFB HGEC Fantasy Body Replacer Third Mod : if you have installed Boobalicious Body replacer ( the Body is in the armor-clothes replacer ) In Oblivion you have one body for all NPCs and player ( with Mods you can have more/different bodies ) I told you the bodies with the most armor-clothes mods are HGEC E Cup, DMRA, Manga, Bodies with less Mods: all other HGEC cup versions H D C B A and GUTS. Armor and clothes Mods for all other bodies are rare. ------------------------------- Now a question, how have you started to play Skyrim? Have you installed the game and then downloaded all the mods you found interesting? Installed all before you played the game? I am sure you first started without Mods. Then you installed some Mods manually , Then found the MO and learned how to use it. Then you slowly installed more Mods. How many months / years did it take you to know everything? Do the same with Oblivion. " I want it all, I want it now ! " will only cause problems. At the beginning you will do things wrong and have to try (install ) again . You have to learn how to install, how to check unpacked Mods ( what you should, can, must delete), what you can overwrite in your game folders, .... START SMALL ! ! !

START SMALL ! ! ! ahahah.. weeeelllll funny story about that but my skyrim modding story is reeeeeaally weird. like i played base skyrim aka 1.00 (somehow without bugs or crashes... god knows how...) and deleted it. years later i learned that mods were a thing... used nmm to install every mods i found essential in a list (similar to yours) and played the game for a few mins to check it out... closed it for a few days and learned of loverslab and like you said installed everything, broke skyrim, learned why i broke everything, fixed the issues, learned of MO and have managed to install skyrim on 3 different systems so far with the only things causing the crash was not the mods but the pcs being not good enough... anyhow, heard oblivion was better than skyrim story wise and wanted to try it out. since its an old game, i kinda want to install at least enough mods that make the characters look pretty and sexy. maybe at a later playthrough will try loverslab mods but currently only that much will be swell. hence why i made this thread asking for help. so far must say while confusing at time (manly since i was confused about which mod manager to use) i must say you all have been helpful... so THANKS!!! i kinda want to learn the basics so that if i ever want to mod oblivion at a later date someday, i know how to... hence so many question, hope you dont mind. XD
Sir Artsy Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 These have been stated already but here's my thing. I noted that you have a "potato" so heavy textures might be out. tl;dr list: 1. find Bevilex Mod List 2. get enb, even potato can run with it but its all about experimenting. 3. OBMM for mod loader 4. HGEC and Robert are most supported bodies. (for females i prefer zkec type, still uses hgec uvmap) 5. Oblivion Reloaded for water/lava 6. for player character, use ffrace if you play as female 7. Oblivion Character overhaul v2 for npcs. - my random, not as often any more appearing pics are made from fairly light modded game. Most of my esps are pose mods. I have enb, OR with everything set to 0 but water (grass was bugged as fuck), farcry grass replacer, katkats waterfalls, hi-res normals?, some obse plugins mentioned above, custom races and thats about it.

fejeena Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 Most Mods have at the top a spoiler with name " requirements". Mods you need to use the Mod. ---------------------- I get a error https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/48870 ........................................ No install one Body replacer and then one armor-clothes replacer. If you install HGEC E cup you download and install ONE E cup armor clothes replacer. Check the bodies. If you do not like it why you download a armor-clothes replacer? Spoiler Do you like Boobalicious? If not you do not need the armor clothes replacer. Here the most common bodies DMRA ( Double Melons Round Ass) HGEC E cup HGEC C cup Manga Manga looks similar to HGEC H cup version B, but without the puffy nipples

If you do not like it why you download a armor-clothes replacer? oh good to know... since outfit studio exists in skyrim, everytime i play a game with some new armor i installed before and notice clipping, i lose my shit and have to fix it. seems like that isnt gonna be a problem here... nice. edit- so just read it again and it dawned on me what you meant to say (which i understood indirectly).... since nothing like outfit studio exists, you should only download armor for your selected body mesh... i downloaded all of the armors since i though it's like skyrim... and i dont even think that like skyrim you have some mod that lets you use multiple bodytypes in oblivion... crap... welp, you win some, you lose some. 28 minutes ago, fejeena said: Do you like Boobalicious? kinda... i mean by looking at it i can be certain that finding armor for this could be hard... though i guess the link in the yellow sign may have more armor... besides it's too top heavy for my taste. i would prefer more curvy for my taste and while it's not up there, dmra and hgec e cup seems the closest. though i'm sure i can only choose one of them and it seems hgec is more supported soooooo.... that's the one i'll be taking, i guess. edit- since i made the discovery above, i'll ask you this dmra vs hgec (E-cup) which has more support and more armors? btw, since i've downloaded most the mods from the yellow link, i'll start installing mods tomorrow after making sure to check here to see if @Sir Artsy replies to check if i was able able to find the stuff he mentioned and a little about enb. kinda excited to try it out. XD
fejeena Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 Link error https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/48870 ------------------- In Oblivion you do not have body sliders. You have one body used by Player and NPC, And for the one body you install the armor clothes replacer. HGEC E cup body = HGEC E cup armor clothes replacer for armors and clothes in the game. There is Clothes Converter, a tool you can also use for Fallout and Skyrim. You use it if you find a nice Armor Mod but not for your body. Then you can change the body in the armor. Example : You have HGEC E cup body and you find a HGEC B cup armor. B cup smaller tits than E cup. So you use Clothing Converter and change the armor to E cup. Or you wear the B cup armor, then you have small tits with the armor and when you undress you have your bigger E cup tits. Armors/clothes do not change with the body in Oblivion. If you have Boobalicious body and wear HGEC A cup clothes you have small A cut tits and small ass. ----------------------------------------------- Boobalicious body: No armor clothes mods. Only the vanilla armor-clothers replacer. -------------------------------- Think DMRA have the most armor clothes Mods. Use Goggle " Loverslab Oblivion DMRA" and Nexus search "DMRA" --------------------------- My yellow Link in in the right install order, follow from top to bottom.

Set Body is the way to go (several versions exist). You can have anything from skinny to chubby for PCs & NPCs. You can also swap out some of the more repetitive body types for more exotic ones once you know how. All those CM Partners...have you seen Emma's Vilja? She's by far the most advanced companion for Oblivion. Think Amazon Nord. Fully voiced by Emma, herself. Large line of quests included. Plus she eventually gets a very advanced dog companion to tag along. Owns her own horse. Skyrim has a version of her, as well. Has a romance option that meshes perfectly with Lovers. Spoiler Big Nord Vilja and my wife's skinny Breton PC. She won't play Oblivion without her.
fejeena Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 But he wants a base body , a body with full vanilla armor clothes replacer and more Mods. Yes Set Body have about 100 female bodies but for most of the bodies you do not get any armors/clothes or you get some new clothes but no Vanilla full replacer. So it is HGEC E, D, C, A cup with full vanilla replacer And DMRA and Manga. ( Yes Boobalicious with full vanilla replacer but no other Mods ) Not sure if the HFB vanilla replacer is full. Do you know any other full vanilla replacers?

DogOnPorch Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 The default body I use a C-cup HGEC with the full anatomy lower body that you showed me, fejeena. Very nice. Amber's palms and TDA's soles added after. Looks awesome on Ave's Red Guard females.
