I was born and raised in Texas' date=' although I'll probably be moving soon and I'm not sure whether or not I'll stay in state. And it is not as backwater/hick as people who have never been there believe

Well when I signed up for LL, I lived in Oklahoma, but I moved to Oregon last July, and as of the third of next month, I'll have been here for a year ^^

Have you gotten used to all the rain yet? I used to visit Portland once a month to check on a job I was running and damn if every single time I flew in......it was raining....:@

Yeah, and at least we've been getting some awesome thunderstorms lately in Portland, Oregon. In Seattle and North Bend (two places I lived in Washington state), it just mostly drizzles. Drizzle is so depressing.

I lived in Pacific, Redmond, Mead, Spokane Valley, and Newport (itty bitty town on the Idaho border by Priest River)). But if you wanna talk about thunderstorms, they have badass ones in Oklahoma. Only thing worth mentioning that they have there. LOL.
