hmmm, that won't do. ?

Try this:

Spoiler

  1. get a plush toy, preferably a lamb, but a cute dog would do too
  2. close the windows and wait until midnight
  3. light a candle
  4. reboot the computer, BUT
  5. do not start Skyrim immediately ... <- this is important
  6. you must cuddle the plush toy and enchant a song
  7. do not stop cuddling and singing until the candle is burned down EXACTLY to the half of it
  8. reboot again and it will work

If not, you either missed midnight, stopped at the wrong time and the candle was either too long or too short, ... or your song did no please the gods

You can try next midnight again.

Answer A - Sacrificing one's first-born has worked for some people.

Answer B - This is the Skyrim tech support thread. Jedi mind-games are down the corridor and turn left.

Wait...  I can't get it to work either. What should I do?

Try manually rearranging your load order so that all your plug-ins load last. It wont help but it will take your mind off the problem.

LMFAO!

That's too difficult if you are not experienced with load orders. It's a common mistake to miss one mod and the whole precudure will fail 100% if this single one mod is not at the same last load position as all the other ones.

But over there at bugthesda.net they mentioned that secret undocumented ini setting  :classic_ph34r:

iMakeItWork

It must be set to a number greater 0, like in

iMakeItWork=99

Rumors have it, that is should belong into the [CTD] section of skyrim.ini
