Unless you have a different version you want to share Besides, NINI almost always includes bodyslide files.

rowanhallik Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 I've never had to modify .esps, do I just need to add the split off armor pieces in tesvedit? How do i determine the FormID for the split off part?

How do i determine the FormID for the split off part? Each outfit piece needs both a ARMA record and a ARMO record. Open the esp file you want to edit in TES5Edit. R-Click on Armor Addon (ARMA) then select [Add] > [ARMA - Armor Addon]. It will bring up a box to create a new formID, just click OK. Tes5Edit will pick the correct FormID for you automatically. Now select the newly created record, hold down the shift key and select another one of the records, for example the torso record. Then R-Click and select [Compare Selected] This will place the two records side by side. Drag each section from the existing record over to the new record, each section will turn green when you are done. Do it until they are identical. Now on the new record change the EDID (Editor ID), in BOD2 R-Click on the 32, select edit and change the number to whatever body slot you are going to use. i.e. trousers would be 49. Then change the Female world model to point to the new armor piece. Now follow the process with the Armor (ARMO) record. on this new record change the EDID and Full name to reflect that these are different than the torso record. Change the BOD2 to the same number as you used in the ARMA record. trousers = 49. Last change the armature By clicking and holding on the record in there, then using the drop down menu to select your new ARMA record. That's it, it will show up in game if you add it with the mod Add Item Menu. Now there are a LOT of other things that you can do in these records with TES5Edit to make Skyrim into something amazing, I would recommend you look up a few tutorials that will explain this far better than I just did. But if you were just looking for a quick and dirty solution hopefully this helped. 1
Diamondback Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 There's a problem with MBO 0051. I've downloaded the separate conversion file and installed the original and said conversion, but it doesn't show up in outfit drop-down list. I have BS version 4.4.

Tapkobot Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 I don't suppose anyone would be wiling to share their edited esp's with "separate" items?
Guest Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Holy ****! I was honestly resigned to not try these armors because they are probably too hard to convert given those have physics. Thank you very much! You are great!
Frisky Sensation Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 For those who can't get the sliders to show, rename the folder "Caliente Tools" to "CalienteTools". At least that's how I got it to work.

Derpakiin Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 I've also taken the time to merge all the available plugins and manually added the new 'separated' armor pieces into one ESP file. I hope this saves the rest of you the trouble. TAL Merges.esp 8

I'll upload fixed ones soon, but in the meantime just rename the file or copy/paste starting at the Bodyslide folder rather than CalienteTools. Update: New files uploaded. Just MBO 0022M and higher all marked 2.1 *My apologies are getting longer than the file description lol*

Managed to get shorts working, but the cape in MBO 0013 is still giving me trouble, staying stubbornly invisible for me!

The Cape is another one of the separated pieces that I forgot to add to the list. It uses slot 46 and would have to be added to the esp file. I just added that to the description on the main page.

I figured out my error; I switched the editorID for the ARMO to be "cape" too, which was probably causing it to look in the wrong place for textures. I took a look at the TAL_merges.esp and it became clear where my error was. You're explanation was really helpful at knowing what to do and how to do it!

Oh yer they do have bodyslide id forgotten lol and some of them have hdt cloth I think what i was thinking was about converting all these hdt outfits to smp from havok, not something im asking you to do just a general statement. If they were converted to smp then all these outfits can be ported to sse I have just made the switch recently but i didnt realize i wount be able to use my favourite hdt outfits
