Did Skyrim get an update or something?

Past couple of times I've played I've noticed a couple of mods I've been using starting to act strange or outright break.  I've seen behavior like this with other games I mod and it usually happens after the vanilla game receives some sort of update.  I heard another person mention Skyrim got some sort of update.  Is that true?  After all this time?  Or am I just having some mod conflicts that I'm not spotting?

SSE had another CrapClub update a short time ago.

But I'm still playing Oldrim.  An update for SE shouldn't have impacted me.

I will have to double check what mods I installed recently.  I wouldn't have thought any of my recent installs would have negatively impacted these specific mods.  One is a FreeCamera mod that lets me rotate the camera for some better screenshots.  The mod is buggy but still usable.  The other is a mod that lets me choose and better control what sex animations are playing.  Can't remember the name at the moment.  It seems to function, I can bring up the lists and menus and everything, but nothing I select changes anything.

SexLab Tools?

the things to watch out for are JContainers and UIExtensions, some mods have older versions of them included within there folders that will "downgrade" them to be much less functional.

It may or may not be YOUR problem but I have noticed this behavior when I have updated some mods and left others (usually dependencies) with the old version. At times, then, one mod is looking for something another mod no longer has or handles differently. You might want to check to see if all your mods are up-to-date.

Psalam is right. There are often mods that have another mod as a prerequisite.
The required mod changes (properties in scripts, complete quest are gone, etc.) and the mod has not been updated and still uses resources that are no longer available in the required mod.
Then there are errors / conflicts.
Skyrim has not been updated for years and never gets updated.
The reason for problems is therefore more of "old" mods.
