I'm trying to set up a Roman themed playthrough, having added Roman items into the game, which work and show up. And when I use Morpgh's editor to give the custom troops the items they have them.

 

I used the editor because I don't know how to make the items show up in the custom troop trees screen, which is bothersome because whenever I edit a earlier troop, it replaces everything down the list with what I just edited.

 

So what I want to know is how to add the items to the custom troop trees screen, or just disable to auto update.

I only just discovered this mod -- I can't believe I never knew there was a sex mod for Mount and Blade! -- and installed it. Everything seems to be working wonderfully, but I'm curious... is there any sex that happens during battles/tournament fights/Arena brawls? Or does it all happen outside of combat?

I have a couple more questions if anyone can help me. 

 

First, how do the bodyguards work? Some times they come with me into the town and some times they dont. Do I need hight renown or good relation with the follower?

 

Also, when I trigger some sex scenes I get a messege that rumors will spread about it. Is something going to come out of it or is it just flavor?

It just adds some points to your character's controversy, which will disappear in less than a day due to how small it is.

 

As for bodyguard, if I am not wrong it depends on both your Leadership and Renown values. Need Leadership of at least 3 and a couple hundreds of Renown to start having 1 bodyguard, with more points needed to have more, unless that limit has been changed by this mod.

They also can be buggy to the point that they will either appear or don't though, so there is that.

Anyone knows why sometimes i get hit by an arrow and take like 6 damage with a full health bar . BAM Knocked out. Or get hit with a club 0 Damage. Knocked out. Is there some kind of critical hit auto kill stuff active in this mod or something?

Which settings do you have enabled?

The one with the Dark Hunters. Decapitation and ... Realistic Battle Damage. But i thought that one was to lower the number of troops that where killed after a battle. Is that one the one causing it?

MMm Nope i deactivated it and it still happens. (sea raider hit me for 15 and knocked me out when i had a full health bar

It's the decapitation option. Realistic battle damage makes it so that even if you use unarmed, you can still kill. Decapitation makes it so you can get one-hit, even with an arrow.

This.

 

Your armor can absorb all the damage, causing you to take 0 damage yet the game will consider you decapitated should the dice rolled that way for you. Turn that option off, it is bad.

awww i liked to see the heads fly.... (Though i admit it didnt make sense to lop someone's head off with a couched lance)

Doesn't make sense to lop someone's head off with an arrow either, for that matter

You shouldn't need to do anything. Factions don't randomly select armor or anything.

I'm getting a weird bug with "script error on opcode 921 & 922" which causes the recent message log to not appear. I think it has something to do with the custom unit because this bug only occurred after I founded a kingdom and made unique units. Is there a know fix to this other than restarting? Tried to find a solution without much luck.

Great work with the mod. What plans are there for the future?

 

I would like a way to add dancing girls(like at the feasts) to the brothel(maybe make those prostitutes that are just standing around do it), and a way to commission items.

 

Edit: When designing custom troops, I end up not being able to raise all weapon proficiencies at odd limits, like one-handed being capped at some amount lower than firearms. Is that a bug?

I posted something about this on the Nexus too, but just in case... I'm having this incredibly aggravating problem where the game keeps switching out my character's equipment with stuff from my inventory. I'll set myself up to have a one-hander, a shield, a gun and bullets... and then I'll enter a fight only to find that my gun has been replaced with a spear or something. x.x

 

I think the mod is somehow trying to auto-equip the "best" items I have, but its failing! Does anyone know how to disable this feature?

 

Edit: I've also had an unsettling number of horses just vanish on me. That might also be caused by the mod... unless Borcha is getting up to his old ways. :v

 

Edit 2: Has anyone managed to "exchange fiefs" with another lord? I'm trying to trade Curaw for Sargoth, but Ragnar just keeps saying "I have no intention of giving up Sargoth", even though his affection for me is at 100 and Curaw is much, much richer. :c

 

Edit 3: Is this mod still being updated? Like, is it worth it to hold off on starting a new save until a new version is released?

Well, some of the roman equipment is on anyone not a looter.

 

Also some npcs are not dressed for whatever reason.

I like this mod. But currently I've got two issues when playing it.

 

1) Frequently, my character gets parts of the equipped items replaced with junk from the loot. So I always have to look out if I'm still wearing the arms and armor that I actually intend to wear and not some random crap. Is there a way to disable this "auto-equip" function for the player character, because I can't find it , or is it a bug?

2) On the finances ledger I get positive - and definitely more annoying - constantly growing negative assets in some cities where I never even owned any land. That doesn't make any sense, so I assume that's a bug. But is there a way to fix it?

Standard install path  for the steam version of the game is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MountBlade Warband\Modules

 

You should extract the mod there into folder with mod name which should have the various modded file in it.  Then in the game launcher there's a drop down menu with the mods you've installed to select from.
