Back when the internet was fun.  They really did do this 'what web would spiders spin while on various drugs' experiment.

I like the way this guy does his videos.  Various "What they wore" stuff.

U.S. soldier in Vietnam, 1968 (the end is basically Private Joker from the movie Full Metal Jacket  )

British SAS, 1944

Wehrmacht, 1944

Alexander's Phalanx, 333 B.C.

East German GDR, 1960's

Roman Legionnaire (with some silliness):

This is what the U.S. Navy is looking for in their SEALs.  It's not about capability in and of itself.  It's about wanting it badly enough.

Mind over body.  If the mind quits, the body will quit.  Most people have absolutely no concept of just how much the human body is capable of - so long as the mind doesn't quit.

Know your equipment and what it is capable of.  Not all are created equal.  In this case, paper shredders.

Why is it so difficult for the military industrial complex to build a delivery truck?

Wait, WHAT?

Paper straws.  Travesty?  Yes.  Disaster?  Also yes.  Here's the science behind it (apparently).  Bring your own damn straw!  A metal one.

Mic and the boys never watched this.  This is satisfaction.

Found this woman who talks about idiotically expensive crap that us poors have never heard of.  Watches this time.  The watch she recommends is below the video, available on Amazon for about $50.

Jeesh...now I am not gonna think my Casio watch is expensive (note:  it wasn't really, as I bought it in the early 2000s to replaced the one gifted to me in 1980s).

Spoiler

Casio watches for boys online

Guess that means I am no class beat down fool and always will be that way.  I might as well enjoy my life and watch the stars play.

Casios were my go to watch when I wore watches.  Cheap enough that when they broke you just bought another one, no big deal.  They did the job.  That was until the fourth or fifth one I broke sticking my hands in engines.  Then I decided to quit buying stuff that was just going to get broken!

She does other series, too.

Bad Design.

Punky Doodles

I cast 'Best Friends'

Distance per Time (miles per hour) vs Time per Distance, showing that a little extra speed isn't going to help, but a LOT of extra speed over a short time isn't going to help, either - and will result in a much higher energy consumption and risk of injury, etc.

This isn't "fun", but at least they fucked with someone with the ability to fight back.

U.S. rap singer Joseph Foreman, stage name 'Afroman', got the attention of those in power.  They sent the badges to search, the badges destroyed his property, apparently stole from him, and then refused to fix the damage THEY did, or otherwise compensate him.  So he did what he knew how to do to raise money.  He made songs about their actions, then published those songs - with video from the video surveillance system inside HIS house that showed these people destroying his property and stealing from him.

I should mention, that the video of them breaking into his house was on HIS internal system, not a public system.

So what did the badges do?  Sued him, of course.

The badges argued that they were entitled to not have their likeness (or, by proxy, their illegal actions) broadcast for the world to see in his songs, from HIS video security system INSIDE his house.

Fortunately, the man won against the government sponsored.... you know what.  This time.  Gotta love it when certain people are above the rules, don't ya?

The lawyer I listen to who brought this to my attention, Steve Lehto:

Outside the courthouse after Foreman's win:

The big song 'Lemon Pound Cake'.  Look at that Sheriff's Deputy eyeing that cake!  Fortunately for the cake, he couldn't bear to put his GUN away long enough to devour it.  Must be ready to be violent at ALL times!

'Will You Help Me Repair My Door?' (Yeah, RIGHT, peasant!)

Why You Disconnecting My Video Camera

Batteram Hymn of the Police Whistleblower

Not all his stuff is what I would call 'fantastic', but I'm putting it here anyway because the people who destroyed his stuff then hid behind their immunity from the laws the rest of us have to follow fucking deserve it.

[A certain person] Is a Son of a Bitch

The police ALSO tried to frame the below song as 'He's a drug dealer!'  No, fuckwits.  LISTEN to what the man is saying!  This is NOT a pro drug song.  This is an ANTI drug song!  Dumbasses.

Because I got High

OH!  Apparently he wasn't even there!

Hmmm.  Interesting to see.  I always hated that 'See and Avoid' rule.  Not surprising is the fact that they ignored the most critical type of rotary wing traffic until the end: medical.

FAA ends "see and avoid" at mid-size airports across the country.

The wizard (who actually doesn't cast spells) casts "fireball" - and gets drunk.  And happier.

Casts fireball.  To hell with his party.

A fun tavern song on the 'fireball' subject, thanks to @Froggy for pointing me in this group's direction:

Fuck it.  I cast fireball!

Punky Doodles, one of my favorites.  He draws cartoons, and his wizards have a fireball fixation.
