Sexout Companions in Peril

Hi, I see many well-crafted and detailed mods for Sexout that work on the premise that the player is playing a female who is the target of rapists or (hopefully) horny creatures. Unfortunately that is just a bit too kinky for my tastes I've never fantasized about waltzing down the docks in a mini and fishnets - (uf=rgh the picture of Loogie that just came into my head will take some serious therapy to erase....)

 

I play as males usually with a cute female sidekick who I spend more time trying to keep alive than anything else. In FO:3 Sexus added the additional threat that most of the people (or things) we met were trying to fuck her (or do more unspeakable things - Centaurs, say no more...). Does any Sexout mod exist that targets a female companion rather than the PC or am I going to have to write one?

That is a really cool concept that, as far as I know, has not been explored in sexout. I too prefer a male hero to a victim and would love to see more content geared toward my play style.

Doesn't brutal rapers let you stop rape happening to you & regulate rape happening to companions?

Unless I misunderstood the 'that's just a bit too kinky for my tastes' part - I figure you mean the PC-focused stuff by that.

Affairs and Sexout companions are all I can think that come to mind.

 

AFAIK Affairs is limited to one NPC who, although I am sure she is quite charming when you get to know her..... and Loogie's Sexout Companions is limited to versions of the vanilla companions. I create my own companions, (in NV using NCCS) and would create a mod that gave others that freedom.

 

If I'm wrong about that I'd be delighted.

Yes, it's playing a "buxom wench" who gets raped a lot that I personally find a bit queasy. If that's your fantasy go for it, variety is the spice of life and don't let any other bugger try to stop your fantasy.

 

Brutal rapers I had taken to be another "I wanna be a sub woman" fantasy for Female PCs only. But if you can switch of PC as target and nominate companion (and the companion list isn't "hard-wired" anywhere 'cause I don't want to have to rewrite my NVSE extender, that's too much like work) then that may be the ticket. However, I don't get a kick out of "realistic" sexual violence. In pixel form I can tolerate other people having that sort of fantasy (I've got absolutely no authority over their thoughts or artistic expression of them) but it doesn't rock my boat and if Brutal Rapers is HurtCore then I'll leave it thanks.

With BR you can definitely turn off rape of the PC and have it only for companions. You further control rape with 6 options (MonM,MonF,FonF,FonM,ConF,ConM) with a level of 0-5 (maybe 0-10). Setting to zero is supposed to turn off the particular option, so if you don't want males raped set MM, FM, and CM to 0. Check the BrutalRaper options in MCM.

 

Also, everyone seems to forget SexoutSex, which allows you to have sex with anyone, no rejection. Make sure that you have SmallerTalk (of course).

It not really my thing either - depends a little on the character I play. I do think rape ought to happen in the Fallout universe though, for realism's sake. Even then, I usually set it on such a low setting for my PC that it actually has something of an emotional impact if it does happen.

Not sure if BR detects non-vanilla companions, but maybe it does. Been a while since I played.

I think what labrat is aiming for here is a heros story. Think Ico, or a specialized Super Mario. The PC is rescuing a companion damsel in distress type setup.

 

Something I've thought about but have no clue how to do: take Loogies tryouts and deflect it. Make the legion/powder gangers/fiends ambush your group and take a female companion captive. You then get to go all Liam Nieson in "Taken" rescuing her.

Last time I played with it on it did. In fact, BR seemed to target the mod NPCs (Willow, Wendy Knight, Sunny) rather than the vanilla (Cass or Veronica). I know it's random, but it sure seems like Wendy seemed to get it more than any other.

Yes, sort of 'though I'm afraid I don't know either of the gentlemen you mention, (isn't one of them a tradesman of some sort). The idea is "protect your damsel". In FO:3 and Oblivion I have my own rule that it's not sporting to shoot the devils on the job, as it were, if one of them does break through. One should do the decent thing and wait until the chap's back on his feet and then give him both barrels.

Now you got me thinking. Hate to see all Loogie's fine work wasted. Haven't seen Taken yet 'though I'm familiar with the genre.

I'm using SexoutSex at the moment, and it's great for starting sex with NPCs generally, if it doesn't butt in over their set pieces (unless that's smallerTalk doing that). Next on the list I'm going to hack about and personalise the dialogues, and voice 'em up.

I'd play it. And just to clarify something you brought up, I don't fantasize about being a girl and getting raped by a bunch of monsters. If that makes sense I might not have explained it right. I get to watch and control the decisions of the girl, but I'm not in her position. So to speak

 

That said, I would love more male stuff. I typically play equal parts male and female characters in RPGs.

 

edit: and this is more of a fyi. I'm sure some people would role play as the girl and I don't have any problem with that. I'm just making sure you know there's different ways to play it.

There aren't really any mods that do exactly what you want, Labrat. Although I would love to see some Sexout companions, as well as more quest-centric Sexout mods.

 

On the upside, creating a companion and making a little mini-Rapers script focused on her wouldn't be too hard. Or you could just create a companion and set BRapers up in such a way that only she is targeted, though BR is a bit buggy.

 

 

 

Thinking on it, I'd love to see a full-blown sex-themed companion storyline - not just random rapes, but actual quests involving her - like kidnapping/sex-slavery, drug addiction, rescue, the after-effects... all sorts of fun stuff. If I had any spare time at all these days (which I don't) I'd like to try it myself.

 

 

edit: and I second user29 - I don't think of my char as "myself" so much as the protagonist of a sexy, dark story that I write as I go along. And I also second the sentiment that we need more male-centric stuff, as aside from Sexout I tend to play strictly male chars. (We also need some love for the gaysex around here too - I started writing a plugin, but I've never had time to really get it rolling.)

Hmm,yeah....Loogie also said somewhere (I forget where exactly) that when indulging in game sex he considered himself in a sort of "consensual relationship" with the mod creator.....Now there's an encouraging thought for any would be modder.....

 

Anyhow, just gave Brapers a spin near an NCR post. Set Ally to 99 (companion is ally) MM to 0 & MF 10 and the outcome? Two blokes indulging in a loving act occasionally performed by guardsmen on Hampstead Heath, so I think something's wrong, Houston. Unlucky coincidence?

Nope, 'cause a minute later four of Caesar's assassins did their usual materialisation trick and two of them (blokes) ignored me, my follower, Caesar's decree and the presence of several heavily armed enemies and immediately got on down. Persistent bounders, carried on even with limbs shot off and didn't die 'til they'd finished. All this while my pretty young assistant looked on quizzically and wondered why everyone was ignoring her.

 

Plus: How do you set the combat rape % ? The Mod Control interface is just a tad flaky.

Aha. Restarted the game and the MCM screens showed up properly this time, does Combat rape only apply to Player then in this? Haven't seen it yet, so far the only sex is between NCR (MF this time).

 

I'm going to have to edit the sound files to get rid of the appalling granny grunts and hitSounds. I've used them myself in the past, but it's actually not that difficult to put more appealing noises in (at least it isn't difficult in FO:3) synched to facial expression animation. NifSkope handles it all quite simply.

Finally someone had the courage to say it. I've been thinking this for a long time but didn't want to risk being misinterpereted and offending anyone. In any kind of molestation fantasy I'd much rather be the male molesting or being molested. Being the woman has never interested me.

 

If that's what does it for you, more power to you. Whatever flips your switches, no one who plays sexout in any capacity is in any position to throw stones. Its just not my cup of tea.

I don't consider myself gay at all, I don't have a problem with gay people either, I've never thought of any male as sexually attractive, or got a boner watchin 2 men go at it in a movie.

I find the control aspect of the female's distress I guess as the fun bit. I don't consider the interest in watching a female toon with a dog to make me into beastiality either.

That's a fairly big u-turn from your own reply to me a while ago when I brought up this very same issue, and one in which you explained to me the view which I now hold - that its not *you* fantasising about being having sex/fucking/being raped/whatever, but really you getting off to your character being in that position. Its basically porn, except you control how your character looks like, what situation she gets herself into, and who she ends up banging.

I had never contemplated using a female character until I built a gaming PC and found Fallout. The only reason for that is because there simply is exponentially more content out there for female characters made by modders.

 

Because I know little to nothing about the GECK, I am at the whim of mod creators. Why they make them that way, I have no idea, but it is their prerogative. Speaking for myself, I certainly don't use the mods because I enjoy subjugating women, or want to role play as a woman, or anything like that. It is more or less me being addicted to new content than anything else, and if that means I have to use a female PC, then so be it. Were someone to make something as expansive as Sexout, but male centric, I'd gladly use it.

 

That being said, due to the nature of Fallout and the world space being occupied mostly by males, a male centric Sexout would be quite limited. Though, it would be awesome if someone created an opened Vault 69 run by "Amazonian" women who take you prisoner for their own purposes.

No, but seriously, we've already started working on that. But it will take a while, before male PC-centric content is anywhere near as comprehensive as female content.

I've pretty much consistently played as females ever since the second time I played Oblivion. My motives were pretty much standard for a lot of hetero guys who do so:

- I play a lot in 3rd person. That means watching your PC's ass.

- With all the body & skimpy clothing mods for females out there, you have the choice between constant eyecandy or just watching a guy's ass.

- That's a no-brainer for me.

 

Not that I would mind playing as a guy once in a while. When I play I juggle a few different characters.

Can I also just bring up the plain fact that the main thing about an RPG, to me, is the opportunity to play as someone decidedly different than who you are IRL? If I wanted to see a pale guy with glasses, I'd look in the mirror

As a roleplayer, I almost specifically play only males, where I find it easier to get into their shoes and take decisions based on what THEY'd do in any given situation. That said, I do weep for the lack of Sexout-related male content, and seeing Bruce's work is pretty awesome.
