Bone_Doggo Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 I don't even know what could cause this... Can I get some advice? Just take a look, the mods I tried are there too.
chickenleg44 Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 Looks like a texture issue considering the game is loading and playing (or so it appears). Also, I would switch to MO. it's worth the hassle.
Grey Cloud Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 Switching to MO wont solve anything. Much better would be to do some reading and learn how to mod Skyrim. Is that Skyrim SE?
Psalam Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 Am I missing something or are Dawnguard, Hearthfires, Dragonborn, their patches and USLEEP all missing? It seems likely that one or more of these is likely a prerequisite for something on that mod list. They may even contain the missing ingredients for the missing texture.

I'm not sure what USLEEP is but no mod specifically said get USLEEP. And no this is the original Skyrim.

Most mods now assume that you have the Legendary Edition of Skyrim (that is Skyrim with all the DLC and their patches). USLEEP is the patch (available for free on Nexus) that makes corrections to all the Legendary Edition material (Skyrim, Dawnguard, Hearthfires and Dragonborn). USLEEP is almost NEVER required but it does make some nice fixes to the rest of the LE material. What I was trying to say is that the textures you are missing (and I agree with Chickenleg44 that this is what it looks like you have) are probably from one of the official DLCs. You would be well advised to get and load them and see if that doesn't fix your problem. On LL it should go without saying that our advice only works with legitimate versions of Skyrim. Any pirated material is unlikely to benefit from what is suggested here and no one here will help if we know that material is pirated. On the bottom left of every page here you will find (in blue) "View Community Rules." Let me quote Rule #7 from that list here: Piracy is not provided here. It's not our business where you get a game, but you will not get help with piracy here, and helping somebody else pirate is strictly against the rules. Keep it to yourself.

This Is 100% genuine Skyrim, I bought it during a steam sale, the only thing not official are the mods i'm running. I have played through it once on my computer to make sure it was good, so it's some mod from either the Steam Workshop, Nexus, or here. I will try USLEEP though. (nevermind I guess I need the DLC for that.)

Or at least to get the missing texture. I was just trying to prevent you from having problems in the future.

You kind of just dropped that out of nowhere so I thought you thought I had a less that official copy of Skyrim. I guess I have to get the DLC then I'm probably good right?

For the missing texture - probably. You may want to get USLEEP. You will also want to look at some modding guides. There is a lot more to modding than just "adding" mods. You will need some tools (like LOOT). You will need to get comfortable with your mod manager (I believe you have NMM?). As Grey Cloud usually says you will want to look at the STEP wiki (especially crash fixes and using ENBoost in Boost mode). So, yes, LE will probably solve your texture problem but there are other things that you will likely want to know.

Yea I got LOOT, I even updated FNIS behavior, I was told that was something your suppose to do. I'm looking into getting the legendary edition of Skyrim, because believe it or not buying Skyrim, then the DLC separately cost more then getting The full legendary edition.

That was probably the entire purpose of the "sale." Good old capitalism. Glad to hear you have LOOT - I'm surprised that running it didn't catch your missing texture. Yes, before starting any game run LOOT, run FNIS and run Bodyslide. Make certain that you have no errors in LOOT or FNIS. Make certain you have no warnings on FNIS either. Correct all of them BEFORE starting a game.

The sale that I bought from is long past, I think around two years ago. but the just DLC itself is $45, when the legendary edition is $40. I thought that was a little funny.

Being a relatively "new" market electronics and everything associated with it is likely to be this way for a while. Eventually, someone will step up and make it so that you aren't paying for everything (and often paying for it twice, or more). I hope I live that long. They will roll things into bundles (like cable TV) and then they will allow you to buy from a menu (like NetFlix) and finally they will give you the information that you need to make intelligent choices and even help steer you toward what's best for you (instead of for them). Of course, it may require government regulations to get there (it has with many other industries).
Bone_Doggo Posted July 30, 2018 Author Posted July 30, 2018 I forgot to mention something weird, most times I'll start a game and everything will (more or less) be fine. But progressively as I play, the game starts degrading 'till I can see nothing but random colors
Nazzzgul666 Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 I don't think it's actually missing textures, those are ust plain purple. I've seen this problem before but i can't really remember the fix, it's some kind of glitch... my best guess is that you're either missing ENBoost or something with your ENB is messy, but i'm really not sure.
shencereys Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 It looks a lot like a problem I had when my ENB was missing some of it's soft dependencies. I'm with Nazzzgul666 on this one - I had a similar issue quite a few years ago and the exact nature of the fix eludes me, but I ended up scrapping my install and re-doing the ENB and re-installing the mods. For something less drastic, but no less time consuming I'd double and triple check all your mod versions and their dependancies. Sorry K175UN3, these things are always kind of a rabbit hole of "try this, then this". EDIT/ADDITION: Kitsune, you possibly install some mods from skyrim workshop on steam? I remembered what happened to my towns exactly and it was much like (not exact but) your issue. I first did mods on steam workshop when I start modding - just a couple. I then forget about them completely. Then I moved to NMM and had an issue with invisible buildings and crazy textures on some thing. I had some old town mod steam version installed that was messing with everything. Took me days and some re installs to find it. If you have not used workshop then forget this part, but other wise make sure workshop mods are not subscribe AND make sure the data is gone from the steam workshop folder.
Andy14 Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 This looks like typical face/normals problems of meshes. This is not a texture problem. First, uninstall NetImmerse Override - it's included in RaceMenu. Is it general - or only with certain outfits?
woodsman30 Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 So why are we not starting at the basics with answers? Does the bodies become normal if you strip nude? Mo and USLEEP is not always the answer not sure why that is thrown in on every tech issue start with basics first and USLEEP is for all DLC's needed last I new... as mentioned above most mods assume you have all DLC's or legendary edition.... first if you really want to play and mod Skyrim I would buy legendary edition and be done with it. Second get a body and install skin textures of your choice make sure they include feet and hands with first person...I do not see a skin texture in your order or did I miss it? Third and most important if you wish to run animation mods get a skeleton. Only after these are installed and working properly would I mod skyrim. A well modded Skyrim Legendary or SSE can be made to look and run as good as any new game of 2018. I spent many hours, days, weeks learning before I modded my game it pays off a thread earlier asked how to make look great and run here is that answer https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76373 Best of luck just don't throw away time by trying things you don't have too...
