Grey Cloud Posted July 26, 2018 Posted July 26, 2018 Charmed, I'm sure. Can you be more specific as to when you CTD? I don't use MO but that left side looks remarkably alphabetical. As I understand it, it should reflect the right side as much as possible. Is that the XP32 Max skeleton by XP32? If so it is the wrong one. Should be XPMSE skeleton by Groovtama CTDs are generally memory related. Do you use Crash Fixes and ENBoost?

The vast majority of people who answer these threads, including GreyCloud, are genuinely interested in helping. They are not being paid. They are not the call center for Skyrim, Nexus, LoversLab or Bugthesda. So, while I do understand it (and have received some snide comments myself over the years) I am going to ask YOU to set the example and play nice with the people here. GreyCloud is correct about the skeleton. He is also correct that we are going to need more information, specifically, how and when does your game CTD. Other than a load order (as GreyCloud already said) that looks extremely alphabetical (and therefore not likely one that LOOT would give) there are no HUGE problems that should cause a CTD unless they are in your patch (only unscripted and VERY lightly scripted mods should be placed in a patch). Other things that you can do to help your load order, in a more general sense include: get rid of the HiRes packs and patch and get the Vamilla Optimized Textures (on Nexus), when you get XPMSE you can get rid of Realistic Ragdolls (it is included with the skeleton now) and you can turn off UIExtensions (it is included in EFF). BTW if you get Grovvtama's skeleton (and you should) you can turn the esp for it off UNLESS it is specifically a prerequisite for a mod that you are using (I know dual sheath redux, for instance, requires the XPMSE esp).

I say that in the event that you think that you are getting conflicting advice I would suggest that you take their advice before mine. All you need to do with all the HiRes stuff is unclick the esp's. My experience (and those of many others including the people who recommended it to me) is that the Optimized Vanilla Textures look better and your game will run much more smoothly. Finally, can you be a little bit more specific about when you get your CTDs. Is it in Helgen? Is it always in Riverwood? How about as you are coming near Whiterun? Only when you are being attacked by wolves? The amount of time in game is not nearly as important as the context of where you are and what you are doing. Those things will give us clues as to what may be causing the CTD. And bear in mind, it is likely not a "bad" mod (although there are some of those out there) it is likely caused by two (or more) of your mods interfering with each other. All that being said, the little things you can do to "tune up" your load order will help. If he hasn't already GreyCloud will likely recommend the STEP wiki and ENBoost. These are ways to get more use out of the crappy engine that Bugthesda has delivered to us. Take his advice, read the material and implement their suggestions (especially crash fixes).

That appear a CTD by memory out. As Grey Could say, SSME is too old, make the same that SKSE make itself. Remove it. Simply google a bit and install: SKSE Memory Patch Crash Fixes 12 and SKSE Memory Allocator ENB in Boost mode.

One particular spot or seemingly random? my system specs processor: intel(R) Pentium(R) cpu j3710 @1.60GHz 1.60 8GB ram 64bit operating system also, when trying to start skyrim with enb boost it says unable to open application error and the ctds are random 8GB ram 4177 total available memory and 4049 shared system memory

This is like an Intel I3 and is one of the lower proccesors available. Maybe have you a Laptop? For get real specifications about your CPU install CPU-Z and put a screenshot. Your processor have integrated graphics chip, like all others chips. Can you have active the integrated graphics?? That can give some problems with games. Ernest Lemmingway Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Those specifications look awfully low for a modded Skyrim. A 1.60 GHz processor, 8 gigs of RAM, and no idea of how much VRAM. My old computer, before its cooling system started to die, had 2.3 GHz and 16 gigs of RAM and it could barely run Skyrim when too many mods were installed. Beth games are so hardware-dependent your overall system specs will heavily effect if and how the game runs. Blame it on the fact that Bugthesda writes their games for consoles first, then ports them straight over to PCs without doing anything to ensure the program can take advantage of the new system.

GenioMaestro Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 Your CPU is not the best, i have and old i5 4460 from 3 years ago and perform much better. But that not mean that you can't play skyrim. The cpu performance is important but can be more important the GPU because a game is pure graphics. Go to https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/ and type Skyrim in the search box. Move the bar and select the last skyrim and see the results. The web page must download and install a program for analize your hardware, but not worry, is totally safe. Put the screenshot with the results. But for be sure i need the GPU-Z screenshot with the info about your graphics card. Remember take a screenshot for each video card if the dropdown show more that 1 video card. Probably you can run Skyrim with some mods, but as is evident, can't put 190 mod's in that machine. Maybe from 50 to 100. I see some machines i3 with radeon 7700hd and 1g video running moded skyrim.
