NejiShadowbane Posted July 16, 2018 Posted July 16, 2018 For some strange reason, on all my files I CTD whenever I try and enter a city/town/hold/whatever. I've only tried Riften and Solitude so far because, well, that's where my characters are. Funnily enough, i'm in one of the buildings in Solitude and theres no errors there, only trying to leave into the town crashes. I can run around the overworld fine, the camera breaks after sex scenes sometimes but thats not a big deal, but it might have relation to the issue. Heres my load order, incase theres any issues here. I used LOOT and I think im good in terms of patches for the various mods, not 100% sure though. Also, please note that I didnt have any of these issues until I decided to install the sex-related mods. GenioMaestro Posted July 16, 2018 Posted July 16, 2018 Be sure you have SKSE memory patch. Install Crash Fixes 12 and SKSE Plugin Preloader for enable UseOSAllocators=1 Activate your ENB in ENBoost mode for free some video memory. Re-install XPMSE and put it in the last 10 slots of your load order.
Andy14 Posted July 16, 2018 Posted July 16, 2018 It may be due to scripts (cell scans) or too many animations, wrong / missing skeleton for NPC's in this area, etc. How many animations do you use? Keep in mind that the upper limit of the animations that FNIS supports is not necessarily the limit that "your Skyrim" can handle without errors. It depends heavily on how much mods and scripts are running and on your hardware and software.

If you want to deal with your problem the first thing you need to do is to take a serious look at all those mods and determine which ones you really want FOR YOUR CURRENT PLAYTHROUGH. I routinely change out mods between playthroughs when I decide I want to do something different with my character. Using mods is like cooking. You need patience (good food can not be rushed). It requires the right ingredients (make sure you have all your prerequisites and that your mods are in the correct order. It can be seasoned to taste (there is no single RIGHT mod list). And, despite how much you might like them separately, some things just don't belong together. ?️? So, look through your list and eliminate what you can't live without. When you have a stable game add things back one or two at a time until you have both everything you want (and can have together) and a stable game. ?

I can see why it'd be an issue, those were some of the original mod's I installed and there were little to no issues with them originally...... That's... probably a good idea, I should just make different profiles for them, no clue why that didn't come to mind beforehand, let's see if that helps anything
NejiShadowbane Posted July 17, 2018 Author Posted July 17, 2018 I found the issue, some stuff added by milk mod and simple slavery just wasn't compatible with one of the town overhauls. That sucks, but at least i can play the game now.
