I don't know why, the camera animation is totally useless, by the way I'm using Nemesis to update my movements, the dance part is all good, it's no problem.

Has anyone encountered the same situation as me?

Yes, I have the same problem - the camera is useless - that's why I don't use it.

Turn on the free (third-party) camera only after the dancers get into a dance pose. If you turn on the camera earlier , the 2 dancer will immediately turn around and after the start of the dance will be with his back to the first one - that is , in the opposite position

In this video, I tried to show two important points, this is the correct construction of the actors and you need to strictly monitor the FPS, since even a small drop in it will give a strong desynchronization of the animation

Angle - 0

Hi,

 

I' a rookie.

I have no idea about creating/adding a dance in a mod.

I just started to read your tutorial.

 

First, I had error about during running "FNIS for Modders" on "FNIS_Let's dance again_List.txt".

I had to changed the folder name to "Let's_dance_again". That worked. Right now, the folder name is this.

 

Right now, on the "xLetsDanceMenu" script saving in CK step.

 

I tried to save it.

However, it couldn't compile.

 

I don't understand about scripting. So, I don't know what I have to.

Can you help me or suggest me anything?

Instead of using Lets dance again mod, I would like to create/add necessary files in my mod's folders.

It looks like you're missing the source files, firstly SKI_ConfigBase.  Before you start scripting you have to set up a lot of different things, including the source files for SKYUI for most mods, plus unpacking the Scripts.rar file that came with your Skyrim download.  This probably isn't a topic to burden this thread with.

I've already installed SkyUI.

In the scripts folder, I have:

SKI_ConfigBase.pex

SKI_ConfigManager.pex

SKI_PlayerLoadGameAlias.pex

SKI_QuestBase.pex

 

After installing CK, I've extracted "Scripts.rar".

 

So, this is not the issue.

Just having those files in place in the scripts folder will not allow you to compile scripts using Function calls to them.  I didn't cite that your script files are missing, but the source files for the scripts.  In other words, you also need the corresponding .psc files in addition to the .pex files.  The .psc files will be in the subordinate "Source" folder.  Without the compiler having access to these you will not be able to compile your script.

I extracted SkyUI.bsa file already. I have SkyUI 5.1. It has no psc files.

I downloaded and extracted SkyUI 5.0. That version has psc files.

So, what do you suggest then?

Most of the mods that I use require 5.1

As I understood from what you said, you removed the ConfigBase.psc file.

No, you go hunting for the source files for 5.1.  They're out there.  Unless the script you end up compiling has no calls to anything in SkyUI, but what you posted most certainly does.

Indeed, I can show you exactly how to do what you're describing (unless what you really want is for someone to do it for you).  But you need to be able to compile a script in order to do that, so there's some necessary one-time maintenance required to allow your CK setup to do it.  You may PM me if you wish so the thread for this mod can stop being burdened with a mostly unrelated discussion.

 

I doubt you'll find a tutorial as specific as what you're looking for.  If it was out there you'd have likely found it already.

To compile the scripts, the SkyUI and SKSE source scripts must be present in the Data\Scripts\Sources folder.
For SKSE, the archive version, not the installer version, must be downloaded.
For SkyUI, the BSA must be unpacked to get the source scripts.

I've already known that.

However, SkyUI 5.1 doesn't have "Scripts/Source" folder. It just has "Scripts" folder, and .pex files.

Sorry Andy, very true and a good point, I was just pointing out the 5.1 for some reason does not contain the source folder. You can get the SkyUI 5.1 SDK from the wiki page, but it seems to require a Gmail account to download. You could also browse the code page for the uncompiled scripts sources you may need.

1: Part FNIS
Create in Data\Meshes\actors\character\animations a folder for your mod. For example myMod
Data\Meshes\actors\character\animations\myMod

 

Here create a txt-file called FNIS_myMod.txt.

 

Content example for FNIS_myMod.txt (including spaces):

Version v.1.0

b -a bellydance your.hkx

Bellydance is the for setting in your esp. your.hkx is the name of your animation.
The your.hkx musst be placed in the same folder myMod.

Save the FNIS_myMod.txt und run the generatefnisformodders.exe (in folder Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Modders)
Now, you have in Meshes\actors\character\behaviors a file FNIS_myMod.hkx. If so, run GenerateFNISforUsers.exe in Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users.

Thats all for FNIS.

 

2. Creation Kit - Get your Animation
Start CK and load your ESP.
In CK click on Gameplay -> Animations (top menu)
Find the category Actors\Character\Behaviors\0_Master.hkx.
Expand this and scroll down to LOOSE.
Expand LOOSE, but let it selected. Right click on LOOSE -> Insert Child.
Enter a ID, for eample 000BellyDanceAnim and in Anim Event  select your bellydanc.

If you wish, add conditions for your Idle. For example. IsChild == 0 or only for females etc.

Close the Animations window.

Save your ESP.

3. Creation Kit - Make a IdleMarker
In Miscellanous\IdleMarker right click (object window) -> New.
Set the ID, for example 000BellyDanceMarker. 

Right click in the list (it's empty) -> New and select your 000BellyDanceAnim.

Save your ESP.

Now, you have a Idle Maker. You can drag and drop it into your cell and NPC's that are not locked out in conditions will use these markers in sandbox mode.
