R3lS Posted October 3, 2023 Posted October 3, 2023 While I'm a bit new to working with the CK, I noticed that the punishment quest looks like it was originally intended as a failure outcome from the meat collecting quest. If you were looking for ways to reuse it. It could be used as a chance outcome from the Waitress quest. Chance that a particular customer, just is not pleased with the service, and as a way for Carnificina to correct the situation, she could have the player spitted / impaled for the entertainment of the customers. Then perhaps a chance to survive the punishment if the customers enjoyed the show, or chance to be roasted and served on a plate.

But I created some mess in the mod progression, specially of a npc hit carnificina. So I disabled it, but let it in the mod, just in case something came in my mind to reuse it. 1

Mostly just added / adjusted Dialogue, and it's a tedious process.

I'm just polishing my mods before the new TESC will come. There are others waiting their turn : FTD, AFS, NMM, maybe TID (it will be only SE, the LE version was too unstable). For raevnous and the punishment quest, the quest will be triggered when you failed tos erve the clients 4 times. Carni will choose your fate : beheading, spitroasting, sold to slavery. I'll maybe add a sell as meat to another faction (Namira cultists ?). You can choose a lot in Ravenous. For example, when you return in Ravenous as slave, yiu can choose to serve as slave or as meat. I don't plan to resurect the Namira themed party, it was a hell in term of bugs, and I don't want to spend too lot of time on ravenous. If Pama make new themed cannibalism furnitures, I'll try to include it in Ravenous. Please remind I do this on my free time. 2
Leavira Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 So I understand you are done with the mod in terms of development but though that now I have had a chance to go through it properly I would leave some thoughts and feedback should you ever come back to it. Bugs: So I have only really run into four bugs with the last version; 1. Recruiting Camila, the conversation never starts, the quest pop up, listen to the conversation comes up and then nothing, have to skip that section with the console command every time. 2. Serving the VIP, when serving a slave from the spit they don't move to the spike, just fall to the floor limp, you can make them vanish with the butchers knife afterwards if you get to the end of that part and need to clean up. 3. CTD after serving a slave for the VIP quest, this is an intermittent one, doesn't happen every time but more often than not it takes several reloads to get past it. 4. Riftens Steward, she doesn't go to her room or trigger a scene with you, you just have to talk to her three times and thats it. Translation: So there are a couple of translation issues as far as I can tell, most are easily ignored save for one, that is when doing the waitress quest the customer will ask for 'steak' when they want 'stew' (at least that is the item you have to get them to advance the quest), is somewhat annoying when your sure you have what they asked for only to be told its not. Next time I have this mod on (currently testing builds) I will see about making a full list and corrections for the English translations if that would be of any help. Gameplay: So while I do enjoy the mod overall I have found that the restriction to the 1h sword can be a pain if you have built your character around something other than 1h or magic (magic working since you can loot clothing from the vigilantes and just use the Butcher's Knife on dead bodies). If you built your character as a 2h or bow user then the combat you have to do for recruiting one of the staff and for getting meat can be a pain in the neck. Having the Butcher's Knife be an enchanted Knife and not a weapon and you being allowed to pick a weapon I think would make the gameplay of the mood feel a lot smoother. Quests: The meat pie sample quest is such a pain in the neck, it is so random who will take them and not, even had times where the inn keeper in Riften was refusing to take any, it would be better as a reworked into being sent to give free samples to specific people, say Helga at the Bunk House, Bee and Bards Inn Keeper, the Steward and Maven Blackbrier. The Endings: So when you have done all the initial quests and are given your choice I feel like there are a couple options that could be added when you are being asked to make your choice; "Can't I keep working here?" This one being that you just continue to do the other quests for a time, either until one of the other endings comes up (such as being picked for the VIP) or until after certain conditions are meet you end up on the Mistress's plate or sold off without input from you. I've gone through almost all of the Translation and dialogue and fixed them in my own edit (and even added additional ones). I keep finding the odd one that I think I've squashed and then test and find there was a slightly different thing I missed. Most of the bugs I feel like are just a result of what @Delzaron has mentioned in the past as some mistakes or errors in the quest or script generation, which sort of trickles down through. Seems to be a bit difficult to fix without a complete rework. Those Endings options are quite well thought out. I would agree that it seems a missed opportunity for an ending with Carnificina as the one with the PC on her plate even after all the other things your character has done, after all Carni is still a Vampire and she recognizes the PC's quality from the start... The meatslave quests are also buggy at least in what I have tested, seems they sometimes work from the sleep action, but sometimes just say there are no quests.

Bugs 1 : strange... when exactly ? 2 : the service on spike works, as shawn in screenshots. But, for npcs slaves, there is a script which remove them from spike before turning them to bloody remains. maybe it's that you mentionned ? I know that script is far from perfect. The problem is to make the npc or player invisible and turn in remains, and keep the thing playable; 3 : I don't know why. Pama stuff don't work well with tattoos, that's all I know. The script itself uses pama ressources. 4 : yeah, I remaked that problem too. Maybe it will be simpler to remove the sex option. Sounds like the script chooseing slaves don't recognize empty spaces in the array...

No option to stay. If you stay, you can't make other adventures... so, it can't be an option. I'll add an option to voluntary return to mistress, as customer, or as worker (you'll be enslaved again). I will test it again, I thought it could also be from an external mod that changes sleep. so I've reset my mods. The arrays for slave slots are a bit weird still. mostly if the player tries to move npcs in the slots, the array can (not always) break when the npcs get the "store slave" command. The npcs tend to run to an empty cell, and the array seems to ... shuffle? I've looked at how arrays are supposed to be written in papyrus and . . . that is a mess of a way to use arrays and while loops (I understand why/how it works but, Bethesda wtf is that, lol, they could have made that part of their script language way better) On 10/22/2023 at 1:56 PM, Leavira said: 1. I'll avoid this scene. All the npcs except carni seems to bug with the VIP room. The torfeast quest was rewritten in fact to avoid that massive bug. So, no, no way I'll use the mod npcs in the vip room for a scene.

Interesting, is it a bug with pathfinding? they have all wandered into the VIP room at some point in any test runs I have done. Camilla in my playthroughs has a tendency to sit in the VIP room on the benches around the room. Armina doesn't seem to wander in that often, Carni definitely does, and obviously Simza has no problems with the room. Lamae always bugs out and never stays in the fort, just seems to follow for the sidequest, then leaves and never comes back (I assume she returns to Solitude).
