butchered all slaves in the cellar beforehand, Mistress still tells me to go fetch a slave from the cellar. trigger could be bugged.

Mynote, did you try this with just 1 slave left? Just curious as if the trigger is meant to be Carni rejecting the selected slave then not having any would just stop the quest going forward. 

 

Delzaron, is it meant to be when your told to get a slave or when you bring one back?

i tried with zero slaves and with one slave in the cellar.
in both cases i got as far as her telling me to go fetch the slave before i reloaded a save prior to me selecting the mission.

i did try it with one slave by accident, but only remembered just now

with zero slaves the mission would soft lock as there are no slaves to fetch and there's no more dialogue options with Carnifica besides the default ones for getting a task/selling a follower.
with one slave in the cellar, the quest would continue normally.

Well then, this is either the worst RNG in history (and since its not me doing the testing thats unlikely) or it broken then, hopefully its just a minor script issue and won't take to much to fix.

I don't know. Need to retest it. maybe there is a regression problem.

Im stuck on the VIP quest, when I go to collect the meat slaves they dont follow me.

If I simply ask them to follow they will, but if I ask them to follow me for the VIP they stay where they are

Ive got no errors anywhere that I can find and the rest of the game seems to run fine, just this is not working.

I have tried starting a new save but the same thing happens

Ive also double checked that everything is up to date

Any suggestions?

Which version of the quest is it (as in what were you told to select?)

 

When you pick the 'You are selected' option for the VIP quest do you see any text pop up in the top left corner?

Ive tried a few different ones, such as selecting 4 different slaves or Sizma and the player plus 2 others. Same issue occurs.

I dont get any options there, the PC simply asks what he would like and he gives one of the random requests. I then speak with Sizma and the quest updates to select a meat slave, but when I speak with the slaves telling them to join me, they just continue sit there. I dont get anything in the top left at this point indicating that they are following or anything, like I do if I ask them to follow me.

So its all version of the VIP quest then? As for options, I meant were you told by the VIP to get 4 elf girls, four exotic, just any four, etc. When selecting slaves you should get a pop up text in the top left saying about a slave being registered, once that has happened you need to move and select the next one, none of them will move from the cells until you have selected all of the ones need, so if you are told pick any four, you need to speak to and register all four before they will leave the cells and go to the VIP room.

Just did more testing and its the same with all options of the quest

Although interestingly when it was just 4 random slaves, speaking to 4 of them did nothing, but I managed to get 2 to be registered for the quest, by making them followers first and then selecting the VIP quest option. But it didnt work for anyone else.

I did reload and tried again, this time got Simza and the PC, but I couldnt get anyone to follow me again. What ended up happening is that after telling them to follow I couldnt send them back to their cells (Option was missing) and couldnt recruit any more as the party was full, even though I only had 2 following me.

I updated yesterday to the newest one on the downloads - Ravenous SE 3.27fixfix.zip

It was doing the same thing on the older versions as well.

Hmm, I had run into the same issue as you with older versions but since 3.27fixfix its been fine, you did fully uninstall the old versions before installing the current one?

When pama device dose finally release the oven is really would like to see it implemented in the mod as part of a quest, maybe for special delivery alternate ending or for vip

Indeed.

As you saw, I already extended the kitchen to make some space. I'll use also a corridor in the dungon I blocked with planks for that purpose, it will contain the janitor bed room and a room full of pieces.

 

I planned several contents for the oven and zap furniture

- a story quest, involving a new NPC, a ceyemer girl who will be the janitor and maintenance technician The zap and oven will be tested, her mission will be to maintain them.

- Oven as method of cooking meat slaves.

- zap as method to produce spirituel gems.

- a Oven party for VIP. Simza and player can be chosen.

- delivery bad end : oven.

Well thanks for the help, but Im giving up at this stage. Ive spent about 6 hours troubling shooting since yesterday, including trying to manually install the mods, using Nexus and MO2. But still I get the same issue.

I was only using the bare minimum mods required for this, so there shouldnt have been any conflict, just cant be bothered to waste any more time.

I'll try again if any more updates are released

Very odd indeed, this is a reoccurring issue then but rather inconsistent, the current version is the first where I have had every version of the VIP quest work without issue, hopefully Delzaron can find the issue when he next does an update for the mod, once Pama's oven is released.

Judging by the dialogue text. you're using RavenousTextEdits.esp, and it has is a discrepancy in the VMAD Script Fragments.

There shoud be 0 instead of 1.

 

Here's the fixed esp I did for myself. No additional changes except numbers fix.

Hey, cool, that's actually a problem I caused! Sorry about that, I still haven't had time to update those properly following the main .esp. I'd recommend avoiding newer content with my my patches installed until I post an up-to-date version.
