That's sadly not how it works or i would have suggested the same.
Your CPU could have 10GHz but it would make only little difference for the engine, especially if used opCodes are no longer supported in hardware or have been dropped completly.

Skyrim was written for a specific set of instructions, limiting it - like most other applications - to a specific CPU & GPU generation to develop its full potential.

Hence why an FPS unlocked original Doom 1 for example would not run with 1000+ FPS on your PC with DOS installed. The hardware is just not supported and its threading model not made nor optimized for this hardware either.

If I only want to use the "shortening factor", performance-wise should I use this mod or the old Grower not Shower? I was going to add your mod to my Skyrim but this comment scared me ^^

Since the mod currently only works on the player, I doubt you will notice any performance issues.  My comment was in regard to expanding it to include nearby NPCs, where the script could be firing on, say, 20 actors at a time.

Wondering how the sliders on the right column works, does it work by the stages of SOS or something else? it seems to just affect the size no matter what, I would like some explanation on what the two columns of sliders do or how they effect things.

The weight sliders simply scale based on your character's current body weight (the weight you can set in character creation/showracemenu).  At 0% weight they won't have any effect, and at 100% they will be fully applied.  Unless you're running another mod that changes your weight as you play, they're not really useful for anything.

 

The arousal sliders work in a similar way - no effect at 0 arousal, full effect at 100, but also set to max if you're in a SexLab animation, but not in the first (i.e. passive) slot.  How often arousal and weight are checked is set by the Update Interval setting in the MCM.

So does weight scale linearly with arousal, or are they independent? I'm trying to figure out if I should leave the weight sliders where they are and adjust my base size in racemenu, or if I should modify my size in the weight column and then adjust 100 aroused size from there?

 

Edit: Reread OP, so what is set in Racemenu is 0 weight, 0 arousal, so they do scale linearly? Even if my PC body weight is set to 100? So essentially, I set my 100 aroused size and 100 weight in the Grower MCM menu, right?

The arousal and weight scaling for each slider is calculated independently, then they are combined before being applied.

Yes, the values that show in RaceMenu are not affected by this mod.  However, be aware that the scaling applied by this mod doesn't go away when you enter RaceMenu - any arousal or weight-based scaling from the mod will still be applied on top of your RaceMenu settings.  The only way to see what you will really look like at 0 weight, 0 arousal is to set them both to 0 beforehand (and wait for a SOS - Grower update tick to resize anything it needs to).

Alright, I think I'm figuring it out. What other function does arousal base itself off? I'm finding that I get super long noodle dick after a sex event where my arousal returns to 0, but then if I either walk through a loading screen, or my arousal goes up again far enough to move Floppy SOS from FullFloppy to LowArousal, then my size returns to not-noodle form and back to what I'd expect it to be. Also, any ideas on how to get the shortening factor to work? Like I said, I'm using FloppySOS, and I read previously in your OP that that setting likely wouldnt operate as expected when used with FloppySOS. It is a really great setting, and I'd love to use it, but I only see its effect when I tab into the menu or tilde into the console. If there is anything I'm missing that might be crucial information to help you, please tell me and I'll do my best to give you a sufficient answer. 

 

Edit: on a sidenote, there are a number of mods that affect scrotum size, like soul gem oven. If there so happens to be future updates to this mod (This pretty much just became an essential mod for me), an option to modify only the dick would be awesome too.

Bugs:

 

1.)  Not working with Hooded Genitals, actually causes them to vanish.  (Not sure if you can add "block working with" for each schlong.)

2.)  Doesn't work properly with SexLab CumShot, putting clothes on doesn't tell CumShot to remove it's drip.

3.)  SOS Grower Extended doesn't work with this, would love to see it work.

4.)  Schlong doesn't go erect, not sure why, at 99% arousal it stays there, the girth is right, just isn't standing up.

  1. Bad Dog's Hoodie Schlongs?  I haven't seen this behavior in my game, but I'll mess around with it and see if I can get it to happen.
  2. As far as I can tell, there is nothing in the SexLab Cumshot mod itself that causes clothing to remove the drip.  I'll look into it some more, but I have my doubts that my mod has any effect on it.
  3. I assume you meant to refer to some other mod here?
  4. Needless to say, I haven't seen this issue either.  What happens when you disable SOS Grower Extended in the MCM in that scenario?  Does the erection state respond to arousal level at all?  I think I'm going to need at least a load order to try to figure this one out.

Doubtful.  That all seems to be controlled by the FloppySOS DLL.  I've tried using the FloppySOS script functions to recalculate the size and they didn't appear to have an effect.

I'll post a gif in a minute so you can see what I'm talking about. If there are any other settings functions you need to see to get a better idea of what's going on, I can post those too.

Here we are. It does this at all levels of arousal. Haven't tested it yet to see if I get super long noodle dick after a return to zero arousal event.

I should note I'm using ERF's High Poly addon schlong, but I had the same issue with other schlongs as well, namely blisarios UNP addon, and the stock solarplexus ones too.

1.)  With surprise equip happening, the player got a hooded schlong, as soon as it tried to change the size and shape of it, it vanished, the update, if I turn off this mod, it does indeed stay and shoots out as normal as I "raise" the schlong, which these don't really do.

2.)  When this mod is active, and I put clothes on, Cumshot believes the schlong is still visible and shows the drip, if I deactivate this mod, and it goes back to normal, I put clothes on and the drip disappears.  It follows the existance of the schlong, but when this is on and the clothes are on, the schlong seems to be seen as straight out and that is where the drip floats.

3.)  Yes, sorry, Deadly Drain also causes grief when you size the schlong with it, also causes women with no schlong to show drips and cumshots each time you reload, weird.  So as I said, it could be a combination of everyone.

4.)  I'll double checked the activity of SOS to make sure it's following the arousal, somehow the setting was turned off, not sure what caused that, so no worries about this, I'll check that later.

  1. Couldn't duplicate this, so there's not much I can do to help you out here.
  2. Whether I have this mod activated or not, SL Cumshot's cum drip is still shown after clothing is equipped, then goes away after a few seconds.  You're sure it's not just being hidden inside the clothing when your schlong isn't being grown by this mod?
  3. This sounds like much more than this mod could have an effect on.  I suspect you have some other mods that aren't exactly playing nice together.

Also a general update for anyone reading this: The update for NPC support is nearly finished, just tweaking a few final things.  I should get it wrapped up and released tomorrow.  I had taken a little break from Skyrim, so that's why it took so long to get it done.

This is excellent. I've been waiting years for something like this, thank you!

 

One question, is it possible for the growth stages to be more incremental/smoother? As is now, the size change just happens instantly and it can look odd sometimes. Unsure if that would put more load on the script or not, however.

It would absolutely put more load on the script.  There is no way to smooth changes in NiOverrides, so it would have to be done by updating everything many times a second - effectively setting the mod's Update Interval to 0.1 seconds or less.  The mod spins through 35 sliders every time it updates schlong size, so that would amount to more strain on the scripting system than I'm comfortable with allowing - especially with support for multiple characters in the upcoming version.

 

You can still turn the Update Interval down to the minimum of 1 second, which works well for small arousal changes over time at least.

i dont understand what sliders i Need to Change, lenght slider has no result. why there are 5 times the same values,  there is no requirement for any schlong at all, from where shall they come ?

i use a short Version from sos equipped, when i use your mod  the schlong changes the  size and proportions then and when.

sehr unstabil.
